  4. lol @ Taylor's attempt to self deprecate! :)Funny nonetheless, thanks for posting.

  5. When he and Rob meet up again, Taylor will have made out with a picture of Rob. Haha. Hilarious!

    ReplyDelete
  6. Robward got more love from Taytay in the make-out-with-the-binder moment than he even got from Kristella in any of the movies... just sayin' ;)

    Way to go Taytay!

    ReplyDelete
  7. littlebear lol but it was always Robward pulling away and Kristella coming on too strong! Poor girl it's not her fault that every time she wants to kiss him he'd get the unavoidable urge to kill her :( :P

    ReplyDelete
  8. Please DeDe, the girl was barely trying ;) If it was me, Robward would have had to use all his super vampire powers to get me off his face!

    ReplyDelete
  9. :O lol okay, but be forewarned you'd be a very dead "all over his face" girl! :P

  10. Besides that's SM and her prudish Mormonism/Abstinence for you :(

I for one would be very interested to see a rated R twilight saga *drool* lol

  11. He's a girl with braces and a bad wig and he's still beautiful! And funny! You can't NOT like Taytay.

    ReplyDelete
  12. "Oh yeah?! Then why does he sparkle like a princess' tiara???" Hehehe so cute.

  13. OMFG that was hilarious hahahaha I cant stop laughing xD

does anyone know where I can watch the SNL show with taylor on the net? cant find it on youtube ... :/

  14. Tayttay rocked SNL...I was a little nervous for his opening monologe(sp?)but he just knocked it out of the park. He always seems so poised. I felt proud like a mama bear :) Has anybody heard if Rob will take his turn on SNL?

    ReplyDelete
  15. bwahahahahahahaha he's so PRETTY..Taylor lets make out..bring the wig and binder but leave the braces.kk..LOL

  17. OMG, I'm Team Robert all the way, but how can anybody not love Taylor?

He's got so much talent! Can you believe that he's only 17!?!

I wish him all the best for his future, hope this new action movie he signed on will be a huge success.

Way to go Taylor! (Looks like after being Robsessed for such a long time, I'm additionally getting Weitzsessed and Taysessed :o!)

  18. I think the falic planaria was on the board again...

Oh, that was funny. Taylor is such a good actor for his age. I have to show this vid to his n.1 fan in my house: beautiful DD :)

  19. Didn't find it funny at all :( But maybe I just don't get American humour.

    ReplyDelete
  20. That was funny! Good job, Taylor!

  21. Thanks for posting the rest Gozde :)..and Taylor killing on the monologue like Swift?..NOT SO MUCH :/

  23. I left lots of comments about the show as I was watching it last night on the comment section under the two videos from yesterday.

Taylor was really great - I thought he was funny and so into each of his wierd characters - great acting job and completely NON Jacob - what a transformation.

Shows how diverse and confident he really is.
He held his own with the big boys so to speak - proud of him.

I don't think about 1/2 of the audience "got" a lot of the Twilight jokes but his fans sure did - he was great.

    ReplyDelete
  24. He came right out and said he and Taylor Swift are a couple............wow.......wish some others would be so forthcoming.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Thanks for posting all these! They were all hilarious. Taytay was great!

  26. was this interview with robert and kristen ever posted? it's from around the twilight promotion tour.

  27. btw good job taylor!

  28. I was never a fan of Taylor, although I did think he did a good job with the character in New Moon. (And i don't care about the abs or the topless scenes, except that he obvioulsy put a lot of effort into that) But I watched SNL last night and I was surprised to be impressed, espeially considering he is 17. yep, he held his own and then some.

    ReplyDelete
  29. I now hope Rob won't do SNL. Taylor did okay but the skits and jokes were the obvious first tries. What the hell happened to the writers? I've seen far more original and funnier one-liners from fan sites, including this one, than anything they came up with. Tina, I miss you!

    ReplyDelete
  30. I totally agree, A. This skit with taylor as a highschool girl was the only one funny for myself, and i was more imperssed wth taylor than I was with the script.

    ReplyDelete
  31. A,

god thank you!!! I thought maybe I just lost my sense of humor or something!

The monologue was embarrassing, and the skits made me cringe they were so bad....

Not Taylors fault, just poor writing..

God Rob, please please don't Ever do SNL...

He would just die from embarrassment and I couldn't stand to watch him go through that!

    ReplyDelete
  32. I don't think Rob should do SNL, he'll be stuttering and pulling his hair the whole time, LOL

Taylor did great, I love him. "Mariana" should go hang out with "Roberta", they can be best friends.

One more thing, oh yes, the writers for SNL suck, wtf is happening with that show? I remember when Tina, Amy and Jimmy were on that show, those were the good times.

  33. Birgit: I'm American and found it only slightly humerous...the classroom scene being the best part. SNL lost its edge years ago and now you can only hope to see something really funny once in a blue moon. I was very impressed with Taylor's gymnastics and thought he extremly self possessed for a 17 year old. Jon Bon Jovi looked great too, although songs were mediocre. That's been the Critics Corner....I'm SparkleDazed for Robsessed.com.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Lmao Sparkle!

I agree the classroom was the best if the worst and I love me some Bon jovi.

Rob, again, please don't ever do snl...

30 Rock would be awesome for Rob

    ReplyDelete
  35. @Rpg & Solas: yes, I think Taylor is a good sport and was game, but realize I really prefer Rob unscripted. lol

  38. crazybabyy: yes we posted that video. The Robstenites went crazy since Kristen's arm was draped behind Rob's chair... Good times :)

  41. BTW--I used to LOVE BonJovi, but wasn't too thrilled with the songs on SNL last night. Am I getting old?? Or is he? ;-)
On a lighter note musically, I am, G-d willing, going to hear/see Bobby Long next Saturday night when he is in NYC. I have never been to a live concert/performance that wasn't in a religious venue. How long do they last? (Don't know if I will make the last bus to NJ and may have to find lodgings in the city). If someone can tell me how much time to figure, and doesn't want to post it here, please email me: solas18@aol.com.
    Many thanks!

  43. BTW--I see the word 'props' used on this site as if it means 'praise.' I had thought props were either supports, like to prop something up, or the physical items needed to support a play or show (stage props). Has the meaning changed? or has this newer meaning been added? If so, anyone know when?

    ReplyDelete
  44. pining, A, RPG, I completely agree with you!! I'm not a Taylor hater by any means, and I think he tried hard to make this stuff funny, but the poorly written sketches just made me cringe! and while his martial-arts moves are seriously impressive, I thought the monologue was kinda embarassing.

sorry to be a Debbie Downer!! ;)

Please, Rob, no SNL. IMHO that show has really gone downhill-don't let it drag you with it!

    ReplyDelete
  45. Parts of this episode of SNL also made me cringe...literally. Not Taylor's fault, but bad writing. However, when it came to the biology classroom scene, I was laughing out loud all by myself. Sure, part of it might be the inside jokes about the books and movies, but I thought it was brilliant. I couldn't help but imagine Kristen and Rob somewhere watching it to support their friend, and laughing themselves. I loved it when Taylor put the photo of Rob up and quoted Edward! Hilarious! And how about, "If those abs are real, that actor deserves an oscar!" LMAO! Wonder if that was scripted or adlib. AND, I love that they finally bond over Bella's stupidity (which I've always agreed with).

  46. watched it too with my husband...he cant believe that taylor is only 17. he did a good job but the writing sucked. i liked the team edward/jacob skit the best, that was hilarious when he put the folder in front of his face and talking like edward. SNL really does suck and hope rob doesn't ever go on it but taylor was a great sport about the whole thing. after watching it my husband knows now why he quit watching it years ago.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Taylor did a great job on SNL!! The biology skit was HI LAR IOUS!! When he kissed the notebook with Edwards pic I just about fell off my chair laughing. I bet Rob and Kristen were watching and just dying laughing! TayTay was so composed and did a great job. And he had the balls to dress like a girl. Can we see Rob doing that??

    ReplyDelete
  48. A--yes, Rob unscripted. Which is why I hope he does do the Oscars or whatever ceremonies people are hoping he would do, other than simply as a presenter, without the presecipted not-funny nonsense.

    ReplyDelete
  49. I haven't watched SNL in a very long time, & after watching some of the show last night, I remember why. It's not funny anymore. It isn't Taylor's fault, it's just not a funny show except for the occasional moment. I turned it off before I was half way through. There's no way I can see Rob doing this show, he's just not a live performer.

@solas, using the word props the way you're seeing it is nothing new. It just means propers, which means proper respect. Aretha Franklin used the phrase propers in the the song Respect, so it's been in use for a long time.

    ReplyDelete
  50. marna-many thanks; I remember that song from when I was a kid but had no idea what 'propers' was--thought it was proper behaviour, and I had no idea that props was short for propers.

What a site this is--I'm always learning! :-)

  51. I watched it today, and agree with everybody. Taylor was a great sport and most of the writing was cringe worthy, the best was the high school skit. It IS hard to believe that he is only 17, he is so confident and talented. Nice to see that everyone seems to agree that Rob should never do SNL, but Piningforthepretty's suggestion about Rob on 30 Rock would be genious. I can definitely see that. He would have a good time.

@solas, are you really going to NYC to see Bobby? You are so brave and so very interesting. I want to know you.

    ReplyDelete
  52. lallieb--thanks. :-) I would love so much ot meet you and get to know you, and most here as well. But you should know, I am not brave. I am mostly wary, cautious, often fearful, and mostly a coward.

    ReplyDelete
  53. I saw it last night and Tay Tay was actually good.

    ReplyDelete
  54. From where did he get the nickname TayTay--is this from fans, enemies, or his family, or what?

    ReplyDelete
  55. Solas,
If you're still on this thread...WOO-HOO for you going to see Bobby!!!!!

I'm so excited for you!! The show I saw was about an hour and a half, maybe a little less, but he started late and had to stop on time.

I hope you have a ball!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  56. Thanks RPG-- for the wishes and the info! I am sooo looking forward to this! Hope the weather is good enough to get there and back, and for Bobby to be safe on his journeys--he is traipsing the globe, it seems!

    ReplyDelete
  57. Hmmm. Maybe it's my crazed work pace and stress level recently, or maybe I just have an incredibly juvenile sense of humor, but I thought these were hilarious. Well, the monologue wasn't. But the skits made me laugh out loud. And I guess I'm even weirder because the Team Edward vs. Team Jacob skit wasn't my favorite. I really liked the Awkward Love one because Keenan was awesome. And for some crazy reason, that hyperventilating woman in the last skit made me crack up.
Must be my mentally fragile and sleepless state...
I'm laughing just thinking about Keenan in that Awkward Love skit.

  58. Was there an interview by MTV asking Rob if he wd do SNL and he said that he prefer to write for it? Anyway, Rob wd be great doing comedy.

  59. Aw... I wish I was a Taylor fan since he's all over the shop at the moment but I just don't 'get' it... I think it may me because of my age ( early thirties - don't find him remotely attractive ) and because I'm British ( don't like the idea of someone wanting to be a 'celebrity' as opposed to being just an actor or musician etc as a lifestyle choice. ) I'm sure he's a great kid but I feel that he usually gives the audience what they want to hear and so I'm wary of those kind of peeps as I prefer something a bit more honest and less rehearsed. I'm also a little worried that someone that young, who is more than willing to hand themselves over to the 'celebrity' world like he does, may come to regret this decision later on. I think that once you have made the decision to crave a 'celebrity' life-style, giving people information about your private life and giving the paps what they want in the form of 'relationship' type pictures etc, then it's a slippery slope should you want more privacy because you've almost given that consent when you choose to live your life this way from the get-go. Taylor may actually revel in this form of attention in which case he has nothing to worry about, lol.

    ReplyDelete
  60. "If those abs are real, then the dude who plays Jacob deserves an oscar" hahaha, hint hint. This is fucking genius, Taylor did a great job at this.

    ReplyDelete
  61. That was funny!!! His opening monologue was good too.

Thanks for posting this, Goz... I forget to record it :(
