I also shot “Remember Me” with Chris Cooper, Lena Olin, Emilie de Ravin and the dashing Robert Pattinson, during the summer of 2009. We all found ourselves in the heart of Manhattan and Brooklyn surrounded by a couple hundred screaming teenage girls every day. For any young actor to be thrown into the ferocious limelight as Robert has been – must take its toll. He worked very hard and I wish him every success. Robert acquainted himself grandly. “Remember Me” will be in theaters March 12th.
Check out the rest of Mr. Brosnan's post here.
God I love Pierce... can not wait to see him in this role with Rob.....heartbreaker for sure...
ReplyDeleteThis movie has such a great cast!!!

ReplyDeleteAquainted himself grandly--Pierce, you do have a way with words! The list of Rob admirers just keeps getting longer!!
ReplyDeleteAs Madeline Kahn once said, "Gee,what a nice guy!"
(Anyone remember Blazing Saddles?)
The first time I saw Pierce was in the John Jakes mini series "The Bastard". He's also one of my favorite Bond's.
ReplyDeletePierce is so freaking cool! And before Bond, there was Remington Steele! Loved him so much! (Sorry, Rob. You're still The Prettiest!)
ReplyDelete; )

ReplyDeleteNice guy.
ReplyDeleteGwen, boy do I wish I wasn't old enough to remember what you're talking about. LOL
ReplyDeletePierce is Irish, not British. ;)
ReplyDeleteLOL, Marna! Funny you should mention that word "old"---as it's just after midnight, it's officially my birthday! ; )
ReplyDeleteSwear, don't feel a day over 32! It's all good, unlike Bella, Gwen actually likes birthdays!!! (Cause there's cake!)
HAPPY BIRTHDAY GWEN!!!!
ReplyDeleteI still feel like I'm 18, but that's because I keep pretending all my aches & pains are from falling down drunk & not old age :-)
LOL, again, Marna! My knees are drunk then! They creak. A lot. ; )
ReplyDeleteThanks!
happy birthday Gwen!!!Dina is blowing you kisses for her far away place.(save some cake for her)
ReplyDeleteActually - That would be one fine British man and one fine Irish man. Pierce Brosnan isn't British, he is Irish!
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday, Gwen!!!!
ReplyDeleteI really can´t wait for that movie! Loved Pierce in bond (and beside, his wife has a great name ;-)).
British, irish, I don´t care as long as they have accent ;-)
We don't have MTV on Sky anymore can anyone tell me where else I can watch it? If it's on the internet how do I access it?
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely thing for him to write about Rob.
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday Gwen! Have a great party tonight but don't get too drunk till waiting for telethlon!
ReplyDeletePierce is great, loved him as Bond. Saw him in Mamma Mia with Meryl Streep lately, it's crazily funny.
I meant the Telethon btw
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday, Gwen!
ReplyDeleteSince "it's still your birthday", maybe you'll get a special request.
Happy Birthday Gwen!!! I LOVED Remington Steele!!! And Pierce was a great Bond!!! Best one besides Sean Connery in my opinion. Dang, can't wait to see he and Rob on screen. I'd like to be the meat in that manwich!!!
ReplyDelete@Haystack
ReplyDeleteYeah, a tubesteak sandwich.
Happy birthday, Gwen!:) Enjoy your cake and Rob, too!
ReplyDeleteI remember Remington Steele...sigh, God, I'm a sucker for tall, dark, handsome men with sexy accents! I'm all giddy at the thought of Pierce and Rob playing father and son--I'm thinking all sorts of naughty thoughts about the benefits of marrying into that particular family;)
"Dashing Robert Pattinson"
ReplyDeleteWell said.
Pierce is so classy!
ReplyDelete(and very easy on the eyes!)
Happy Birthday Gwen!
ReplyDeleteGood morning ladies.
Love Pierce, my second fav bond. I'm a Roger Moore lady. Pierce is a class act. Can't wait for RM.
Happy Birthday Gwen!!!!!
ReplyDeleteMake you'll get to talk to Rob tonight!
Pierce Brosnan is a great actor and a gentleman. Rob is a lucky man. He attracts only good people to work with him.
ReplyDeleteSorry if I'm being nosy.
Happy Birthday Gwen!
@ Gwen: Happy birthday, girl!
ReplyDeleteoohh, I miss my 32nd bday...
Hey, RPG is right. Maybe you will get Rob on the phone tonight...
(make a wish! -- though I think you already did... :)
Happy Birthday Gwen!
ReplyDeleteHope you have a Robtastic day!!!
Oh, I also loved Remington Steele.
happy Birthday Gwen, and a good healthy year!
ReplyDeleteHAPPY BIRTHDAY GWEN!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteAnd I love Pierce...I agree that as Bond, he was only second to Sean Connery.
Is it sad that I'm like counting down until 8:00pm already????
;)
Gwen, I hope you have the best birthday ever!!!! :))))
ReplyDeleteBirgit... you're so right! I should know better being British myself!!! But as he was brought up in Ireland, Scotland then London he's not got much of his Irish accent left so I always forget and embrace him as one of my own ;-) Either way he's a fine looking man!!!
ReplyDeleteThank all of you so much! ; )
ReplyDelete(Gwen's does a happy little dance, "It's my birthday, sqeee!"! Gwen is a little bit like Alice. Ok, a lot like Alice. Oooo, guiltfree shopping and cool prezzies!) LOL.
Big hugs everyone!
Gwen
ps. Very happy to know that others here even remember Remington Steele! Gwen, alas, WISHES she was 32 again! Where's that fairy godmother when you need her?
You know what I really want to know....
ReplyDeleteDid Pierce talk to Rob about being 007 one day? I didn't read the article.
I know Rob gets hurt on set a lot (giggle) but otherwise, I can totally see Rob in that role. And at this point, I think the James Bond movies need to find a way to bring back a younger audience.
OMG! Pierce us TOO HOT. HE and Rob together on screen will be AMAZING. RM is going to blow everyone away-I truly believe that. ;) Can't wait for March!
ReplyDeleteYes I agree the cast for this movie is great, Robert of course (need I a say more?)...and both Pierce Brosnan and Gary Cooper are acting heavyweights...and I've seen Emilie in Lost (when I used to watch the show) and her character was one of my favorites. She is a good actress, sweet and has an expressive face, and she's articulate in her interviews. I have no doubt that she and Robert will make a great couple in this movie, and I have no doubt that PB and GC will be fantastic in their respective roles of the fathers...I am really looking forward to this movie!
ReplyDeleteI am also really excited for Water for Elephants, but I'll comment on this on the other thread...
