Robert Pattinson's Dodgy Hair

Heat Magazine featured "dodgy photoshoots" and Robert Pattinson's "Bad Mother's Handbook" still made the list :)

It looks like it also features Tom Sturridge (Hot Stu) but it doesn't :) Shame!

Thanks to the Irish Twilight Sisters.

  2. Hi ladies... Nice to be back to my favorite obsession after 10 days at Mauritius...
I hope I didn't miss to much while I was away getting some sun, a sunburn and loads of fun with my third favorite man... LOL... (First being my son, second being Rob and third being my son's father)... Only third because we broke up 4 years ago but remained good friends and more sometimes... LOL...

  3. Even with the rainbow sweater and his hair covering his face, there's no way to hide his lovely jaw! I love his expression in the last photo.

  6. Maybe I'm just old, but he looks (is) so young is this. Still hot, though.

Ladies, we have a date with the people of Haiti and Rob tonight!
This day has to go quickly.

  7. Rob/Daniel is so cute. The way he looks at the girl is so sweet. I love him in Bad Mother`s Handbook.

I hope seeing Rob tonight at MTV Brazil, 11:00 pm. With him appearing and asking people to help there will be much more donations

  8. @ sissi! Hey, welcome back!

No kidding you went to Mauritius! Please, tell us more about it. Seems to be wonderful... I love exotic places. :)

Btw, I love RobDaniel, even skinny and with the dodgy hair... I did not expect too much when I first saw TBMH, but I liked it!

Good day, y'all. Gotta go back to work. I'll check on you later.

    xoxo,

  10. @dina, @crazy vamp.
I got this trip to Mauritius as my 40th birthday present from my son's father. As I said, we broke up a few years ago but remained good friends for our son's sake and see each other every week-end and school holidays... Nice to have a guy around only for the fun stuff... I can handle the rest just by myself.
So, Mauritius is a beautiful country. There is a lot to do and see. The official language is English but they do speak French too. We were south west of the Island. Nice and wild. The weather was 30 / 35°C and the water was 32°C. You cannot even go swimming to cool down. LOL.
The country is pure magic. White sand, sun, fun, and the people are so kind, so nice... It's a country with a fantastic cultural and religious mix and tolerance.
Just google Mauritius and the pictures you'll see are not photoshoped... We were at the Indian Resort...
Back in Lyon and the weather is 2°C.
Planning to go back next year...

    I've never been Anywhere....jealous!

  12. @rpattzgirl. You don't have to go far to discover new things and meet new people, make new friends.
I know it's such a cliché, but sometimes you can discover a treasure just around the corner ;o)
If you like reading, try The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho and you'll see what I mean...

  13. Where can I buy that sweater? Hehe

He is really too adorable.. I so desperately need to see that.

  14. Lol thanks sissy... I'd be hard pressed to find warm water and beaches here in Oregon! I travel in my mind though... Lately it's been to London***sigh***

  15. Ouch...I had a sweater like this back in high school...in like, 1980. Wore it with my black watch plaid uniform skirt. Had matching toe socks too :D

...wonder if Rob had the matching toe socks?

  16. Ok.. um..seriously mindFKD right now. he looks like a poster boy for gay rights with that sweater-just throwin it out there...*sing songs* work it girl! I wouldnt look at him twice back then -I guess he looks to girlie and PERRty. Give me Hairy Man Rob any day.

  17. I can't remember this scene from the movie... Is it in the extras on the DVD?

  18. The anti-gay comments that have been flying around here lately are offensive and inappropriate.

(sorry had to get that off my chest)

    ReplyDelete
  19. @ sissy: your son's father sounds like a nice guy...
    (just sayin... :))
And Mauritius looks wonderful (yes, I saw the pix in google)

I had to laugh about the "you cannot even go swimming to cool down" -- because I live in Rio de Janeiro and that is exactly what we are going through (this summer has been especially warm: close to 40C!). And I hate air-conditioners... Wish I could wear my bikinis all day... (DH would love that hehe)

    Well, keep cool everybody!

    *muah!*

  20. @RPG - I also am planning a trip to England next year. I have never been anywhere outside of the US other than Canada so I am super excited. My cousin and I are trying to eat healthy, lose a little weight, and when we both hit our goals we are going to be on a plane headed to England for a girls week or two.

  21. Welcom back sissi!Tots jealous, as we are pretty much still freezing our butts off in Massachusetts. Warm and sunny sounds like heaven. LOVED Daniel Gale, Rob did an awesome job in this movie. He was totally adorkable, and it was tough to hide the pretty with all that hair, but it still shone through. The movie was quite funny at times. I wanted to smack the mom through most of it but I bawled at the end when she came through.

  22. Teri,
Lucky you! Mine is only in my mind, not reality o:(

  23. soooooooooo dorky, wonky and all that in this movie, only he can look like that and be sexy!
I liked Daniel so much, he's so cute and kind hearted!!!!

    FILTM!

  24. @crazy vamp. My son's father, Laurent, is a great guy but it was just impossible for us to live together. We remainded single for quite a while after our previous divorces and got used to being "alone".
We figured out it was better to live that way than to make eachother's life a misery, starting by our son David...
David sees his daddy and his mum together having good time, instead of arguing all the time. He knows the reasons for our choice and I think he likes it too.

  25. I loved Daniel in TBMHB he was so sweet. I always felt like slapping the Mom as well, but it was a sweet movie. His Mom in that movie was a lunatic as well. Come to think of it in all the movies I have seen him in the Mother's are horrible except for Esme of course.

That will all change with UC though.

    ReplyDelete
  26. @ Teri

You'll love it...I went a few years ago with my mom, aunt, and grandmother. I didn't want to leave!!

    ReplyDelete
  27. @Teri, yeah right, when I think about it, in most of his movies he had crazy moms, even in the "Vanity fair" where he wasn't even credited!

    ReplyDelete
  28. so if you're going to England for a week what do you suggest are the "must see's" @LHR. Did you go with a tour group or just on your own?

Yeah @Fae I guess it makes a movie more interesting when the Mom is a complete psychopath.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Teri - Went to England with the ex, he's English, from London. Saw it through a Londoners eyes, it was awesome. Also went with my mom on a two week European vacay. Paris, Amsterdam (yes, with my mom - LOL!) and London.
    You'll love it!

    ReplyDelete
  30. @Teri! Yeah, cause when the mom is looney, you insantly see a tortured guy with a tough childhood, and you syphatise with him, and it's a big turn on I guess when you see how good person the guy became although he's parents are psychopats, bla bla bla :)
Enjoy in England, I know I would! Don't miss the pubs! ;)

    ReplyDelete
  31. I told my cousin I didn't want to do all the tourist type stuff I'd be happy to sit in some dirty pub for a few days and take in the locals.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Teri, smart very smart, when in London... :)))

    ReplyDelete
  33. @Teri

We just went on our own...my aunt had been there before b/c my cousing went to university in London for a little while. We did some tourist-y things, the London Eye was really cool - if you're not afraid of heights.

And St. Paul's Cathedral was beautiful...they were doing some construction on the outside when I was there but it was still beautiful!

And we totally went to Abbey Road Studios...and signed the wall!! =) I'm a huge Beatles fan...so it was a must!

  34. Amaze, was thinking the same thing! Love the rainbow sweater!

And Lisa, ditto, on having one in HS just like it (yeah, in the 80's too).

Sissi, sounds fab! And very cool on the gift/trip from son's dad. Very wonderful for all of you. Hubs has been there (military)---wants to go back (but with me this time!). ; )

RPG, most travel is work or for family visits---not just for FUN! Hubs really wants to go to New Zealand (big LOTR fan). LOL.

Gwen actually would have totally fallen in love with FloppyHaired RobDaniel in high school. Exactly her type. Is that weird?

    ReplyDelete
  35. @Teri... first of all, try to go longer than a week. It's a REALLY long way to go for one week and you'll feel so rushed... I go for about 2.5 weeks each year as my whole family is there. Although London is great, make sure you catch a train and head north. Visit York, Whitby, Leeds, The Lake District... you will NOT be disappointed. I think tourists forget there is more to England than London :-)

  36. if anyone knows where i can get a multiregional dvd player in the US, plese send me a tweet. twitter.com/melissa_nadine

    thanks!!!!

  37. I guess that scene was cut off, because it's surely not in my DVD... :( I didn't even see it in the extras, or I'd remember it...

    ReplyDelete
  38. Maybe these aren't stills from an actual scene? Maybe just shots of them waiting for the next set up? My first impression of these pics is that they weren't in character, just themselves. Could be wrong tho.

    ReplyDelete
  39. I'd run my hands through that dodgy hair any day! Daniel Grey gets me singing Shiver-me-timbers. Oh how I love this adorkable man...
