Suz, I agree. New Moon Had less impact for me, because I saw ALL the important scenes before the movie was released. I don't mind the TV trailer, however, one is plenty.
I'm not waiting breathlessly for Eclipse, there's RM to come yet and since I'm in Ireland I'm going to have to wait longer for it to get here which sucks @suz I agree I feel that I saw too much of NM before it hit the theatres
Yeah, I'm ready for the Eclipse trailer...too! There's a script floating around, don't know if it's real, trying not to read it, but the temptation is HUGE! There was a whole year between the first two movies so I think they put alot out there b/c the studio wanted everybody to get hooked (as if) but they probably won't overwhelm us with Eclipse because it's so close (yet so far, I know) We'll see... besides, with RM coming out first, they probably won't want to steal any thunder from that (again, as if)....
Suz, ADM, RPG-I'm right there with ya! A trailer or a couple of pics sure wouldn't hurt me, but I saw too much NM before I saw NM! I'm in spoiler rehab...LOL
Gwen's anxious for an entirely different reason---sure, we've got, sigh, 6 months until Eclipse. BUT, we don't even have BD greenlit "officially"---and no schedule for filming!!! So even best case, they do end up shooting end of 2010, we won't see Edward for, gasp, an entire year while BD goes post-production. That would mean it would open June-ish 2011. Right?
Sure, we'll get Rob in other movies (yeah us!), but (Gwen whines) there are FOUR books. So there must be FOUR (or five) movies! (Gwen needs order in her universe---sagas must match up!)
I think 'trailer people' working on trailer, but, yes, Mr Slade could put a 'teaser' photo or two. Not just the 'tease'. lol Script is legit early draft. Wish it were not out.
Re the plethora of NM spoilers. Weren't some of the clips/trailers/scenes not even IN the movie? I thought that was annoying---expecting to see something and then I didn't. In Volterra, the reunion kiss? I know there were others.
Honestly, toward the end of the NM promo, it was kind of hard to ignore all the clips---they were literally everywhere. ; )
Gwen...you're not weird...no weirder than the rest of us.... and you're totally on about clips that were not in the movie...I can only hope they will be on the dvd! It would be so wrong not to make BD...I can't believe they've waited this long to hash it out...the people at summit should of been on it as soon as Twilight was such a success......on the plus side, KS doesn't have anything scheduled (it seems) and Unbound captives doesn't seem to have an exact starting time either so maybe...they can start filmilng before the summer and have it in by Thanksgiving again?! See how easy? I know wishful thinking.....
I'm thinking it will take at least 6 months of post production for BD. The wolves, Renesmee (good luck with her---very on the fence with R; slightly creepy, yet I applaud SM for a happily-ever-after.), all the vamp talent/fight stuff... Yeah, lots of post. And figure in a minimum of 2 months to film (probably 3---larger cast too), then Summit needs to get cranking! Like soon!

It sucks that they have to write about the Eclipse cast using New Moon photos!
