My issue with the lovely one-sheet poster thing is that she already made her choice, it's Edward, it's always been Edward. I understand this is for promotion of the film, but still.

Jacob is ok, Bella is great, though it looks like she doesn't have too much make-up in the movie but she is in her full glory. but what's up with Edward? hope no one is gonna shoot me if i say something wrong with Edward. i mean make-up and hair. i hardly recognize him...does he have to be that pale with red lipstick on his lips to look like vampire? i guess D. Slade wanted to emphasize the dark side.. but..don't know, just don't like him here, sorry guys. hope to feel much better with future wallpapers.

I have high hopes for DS and Eclipse. My daughter and I watched New Moon last night...or part of it...halfway through she was bored and left! and she is 13 and a former Twilight freak! we saw it twice in theaters but God it is SO slow...I'm sorry to be negative. But the only saving grace is beautiful Edward/Rob. Fast forward time. Chris Weitz seems like a lovely, lovely person, but I just think he killed this movie--he and/or MR. Oh, I don't know.

ReplyDelete@TMP- i totally agree with you. the male vision is different , what's why...but i give a credit to Slade otherwise BD will be in trouble. a fandom breaths on their necks like they say. i so want them to be on the top of all lists :D (not Ruzzie, of course).
Kate, thank you for posting the wallpapers but in my opinion I don`t like the idea of the film`s poster. First: the color of Edward`s eyes are strange; Second: Jacob looks strange too and taller; Third: The facial expression of Bella bothers me and last but not least the boys are behind Bella and not by her side. They may be fighting for her but she loves them. In this film they are together to protect her from Victoria. I have read the books and I repeat it is only my opinion. It is only this.

Thx, Kate. Nice wallpapers and poster is well done of its ilk, but really tired of the 'continuity' of this marketing strategy. Face front, and centre with differing colour treatment. Could someone mix it up a little? And the tagline is making me grit my teeth the more I see it. If it "begins...with a choice," wtf does it end with? Are they aware the bulk of audience has read the damn book? I am in a pissy mood today...lol

great wallpapers!, I don't mind the 'choice' tagline, because it does begin with a choice, Bella has to decide whether or not she'll marry edward so he can be the one to change her, she tells jacob straight out in the end of new moon that she'd always choose edward

Well I'm sorry but they're not that good of wallpapers, they're very average. And looking at those with Kristen's Bella so centered in them, something has become very obvious to me, I have never seen an actress with deader eyes than Kristen. Bella here literally looks devoid of any life or emotion, with her dead eyes and expressionless face.

@janna: I agree with the 'choice' you are talking about, but that's not the way it's reflected in the poster. With this poster I'd rather they even went with "Marry me, Bella..." lol or use some other cheesy tagline that was more vague: "Between shadow and light is forever" or "Her world begins when day becomes night.." I'm sure better minds than mine could come up with catchier phrases…

I can't wait to see the movie. But I think someone just photoshopped (is that a word?) way too much. Just my opinion. Doesn't look natural at all.
