  1. some parts seem a little awkward, like they don't know what to say.
    but that's just my opinion.
    overall, great interview though.
    robert looks so cute.
    :)

  2. Aw that was cute. Rob gets all shy when Pierce gives him praise...

  3. Nice little game between two generations of actors... Some parts were indeed a little akward and Rob looked like he was gonna fall off the couch or fall asleep on it... I "prefered" the first one with the singer from Paramore...
But anything with Rob is great... and Pierce is such a beautiful man, I love his self-confidence, his karma, amazing...
Rob should be on some tv show on March 8 or 9. Something he recorded last week in NY. Great, great, great!!!

  4. I love when his facial gestures. LOL.

  5. I like the way both interact, Rob sounds almost shy sometimes and yet you clearly feel he definitely knows what he wants and where he stands. I also like how easy and confident Pierce looks and sounds. Btw I just saw him in Polanski's The Ghost Writer with Ewan McGregor and he's a great actor!

  6. Awww, how absolutely fantastic. It was definitely a little awkward at first. It seems to me, particularly given his reaction to Pierce's praise, that Rob is still just a little kind of... maybe not in awe, but really impressed with Pierce. He doesn't see himself at that level yet.

It was adorable how they kind of bonded once they started talking shop. Although, you know as soon as Pierce brought up the fact that they could just keep writing new Twilight films and the Bond connection, for just a split second, you see utter terror on Rob's face. *LOL*

I absolutely loved this few minutes of thought and space and time.

  8. OMG I just woke my parents,forgot I wasn't alone....

and Pierce said be prepared :DDD Yes Rob will be Bond.

    I`m gonna throw fit!!

  11. This is FANTASTIC!

As a Die Hard Pierce Brosnan fan...this is too cool to see him & The Pretty chatting.

I think that there's shades of what Rob may be like in 30 years or so when you look at Pierce. That same refinement. When Pierce was "discovered" and was doing *Remington Steele* he had that same youthful innocence that Rob displays.

And I *loved* him "warning" Rob about Twilight stuff getting "made up" in the future. What a neat way to tie in his experience as 007 to Rob's experience as Edward.

    Totally excellent interview!

    I think I'll go watch it again...and again...and again...and so on~~~

Thanks So VERY Much for sharing this!

  16. There should have been more questions, cause it's obvious they didn't have any REAL topics to talk about.

Really, fans asked some good questions and they just ignored them.

    Still love Rob.

  17. that was good. love the accents. they did seem a little awkwar

  19. WOW...that was an awesome interview with Rob and Pierce. They obviously are very respectful of one another, and seemed to enjoy working together. Plus...they are both so handsome!

    ReplyDelete
  20. it looks as though they have no concept of the conversation. Pierce sent the conversation to the Bond - movies .Rob looks very nervous. It is to much menpower on this couch. Both find no words LOL . I would let both sit or lie on my couch ;) is this a correct engl? i hope

  21. wens and annie,
we on here now, I'm multitasking so I'm slow to answer!

    ReplyDelete
  22. Two gentlemen, that's for sure! They seem very respectful of each other. Rob~ LOL-30 Coca Colas. If I understood correctly, Rob said filming BD at the end of the year. Yay!!

    @RPG
LMAO! Dial up. Bet your internal dialogue is running in high gear!!!

  23. Aw Rum, so jealous you've seen Ghost Writer, stuck waiting till 16th April here :(. I love love love Ewan McGregor, I watch anything he's in!

    Back to the interview...
I thought that was nice, they're clearly respectful of each other and although a tad awkward still converse naturally. Pierce is really pushing this executive producer thing! He's mentioned it in every interview I've heard, while Rob seems a bit embarrassed by it.

  24. pierce has this like hybrid new york/ irish accent i think its fabulous

  25. British appeal in its purest form!

  26. Bond on Bond! OOOoooooooouuuuu yes! ;DDDD

    ReplyDelete
  27. @Dessert Like it??? I love it! So description from the book! :)

    ReplyDelete
  28. @Rum: The Ghost Writer is well-made, and acted, I agree.

So, a modicum of envy there from Pierce when Rob mentioned his current female co-stars? Oh, yes, indeed...and, yes, definitely a moment of panic for Rob at the thought of an endless Twilight - Pierce is a tease...lol

    ReplyDelete
  29. Oh, and Pierce is wrong about the number of Bond novels by Ian Fleming, but won't call him on it as he's entitled...lol

    ReplyDelete
  30. I love them both.
And I'm sooooo happy today ~ I saw a "Remember Me" banner in my city; that meaning we'll have it here on the 12 th!
Yeah! I'll be there, Rob! Can't wait. It will be a looong week.
    =)

  31. 'There were only seven books?'

    Sounded so irresistible.

  32. Ladies, you always make me laugh with your comments. Thank you for that!

I do love Rob, but DAMN Pierce is still so sexxxxxxy after all of these years!!!!!! He has aged extremely well.

Now back to Rob, he's so authentic. It's as if he's hearing praise for the first time (even though everyone is raving about him in RM) and truly does not believe it. He truly is a burst of sunshine.

    ReplyDelete
  33. I truly loved looking at and listening to the contrasts between these two men. I thought they both interacted really well - I liked the slight slagging PB gave RP here and there, but you can see that they genuinely like each other.

  35. I haven't watched the video yet but just look at their body posture. Rob is on the edge of the sofa leaning forward, so cute tousled hair and casual white T and Pierce is sitting back, leaning back, hair tightly in place, buttoned down shirt.

What does that mean??? I have no idea - it is just interesting.

    ReplyDelete
  36. @sissidelyon

What show is he going to be on??????
    I haven't heard of this!

    ReplyDelete
  37. I can totally see Rob as Bond one day. I have always said it...he'll be perfect for the role when he gets older. However, I'd love to see them do a movie that shows Bond as a young lad, in the early years....then Rob could do it now!

    ReplyDelete
  38. Rob, darling, sweetheart, you must try to keep your fingers out of your hair. This obviously nervous habit is not good. I adore your exquisite hands, but can you please try to keep them fidgeting in your lap or reaching for a sip, and NOT touch your hair so often in every damn interview. I also love your hair, but you keep messing it up with this nervous habit of yours. This is meant as loving constructive criticism!

    ReplyDelete
  39. Robiscool,
Love your 'he is truly a burst of sunshine' line.
He really doesn't believe the praise yet, does he?
    Hope the critics praise also.

Yeah, Pierce, always a gentleman, sexy, like the finest vintage, -and so respectful of Rob. This is good for Rob; I'm so glad experienced actors are applauding him.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Femroc,
I think they said he would be on the 'Early Show'. I think, CBS, not sure. I'm not even sure show that is.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Awe, embarrassed Rob, fingers in hair Rob, you're my guy... sigh

Pierce is Mr. Debonair yet. That hasn't changed at all.

I don't think they do these one-on-one interviews unless they're already friends.

Pierce did seem shocked about Rob's female co-stars in BA, notice he asked brilliant questions about it. Rob didn't mention UC or WFE movies at all. But sounds like BD will be made this year. Love the way they discussed Rob can't stay 17 forever. hehehe that would end his Twilight career, even if Stephenie or Melissa wrote more. Rob will be 24 soon, he getting so old, NOT!!!!! -grinning- chuckles

  42. Two of my favourite actors. I loved this one so much!

I've always been a huge supporter of Pierce Brosnan, since I first saw him in the Remington Steele series! My Mum and I had been saying he should play James Bond since then and when he did we were so chuffed! :D

The Ghost Writer sounds like another film to see, I wonder if it's already been released here in Austrlia, I haven't heard anything about it, yet, will have to check it out. Ewan McGregor is another of my favourites! :D

    ReplyDelete
  43. Just listened again. He still doesn't know if BD is 1 or 2 movies yet... thought it was decided on 2.... Oh well. It's not even listed by Rob on imbd yet.
    UC and WFE are.

    ReplyDelete
  44. I love how Rob said "dichotomy!" So cute Rob!!!

    Squee!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  45. That was beyond my expectations..
    PIERCE AND ROBERT...

    ReplyDelete
  46. That was a fascinating interview-and I loved how Pierce said "you get all G'd up " Pierce is SO down to earth. YOu could tell Rob admires him.

    ReplyDelete
  47. about the body language- too me it looks like Rob is leaning forward which means he's looking for approval, sometimes trying to make your point across too. Pierce is confident in what he says. He doesnt move around like ROb does. Notice when ROb is saying something serious his movements diminish?-just an observation. Overall-Robs gaining confidence in his craft. I wonder how much more fiddling of himself we're gonna see as his career explodes .
