The trailer really didnt blow me away and most people I know and who saw it (also some non Twilight/Rob fans) said it was boring and dripping with mush and cheese, not really making them want to watch it.
But this here looks a lot better.

I'm a lot more excited after seeing that than I was the trailer last Thursday :) Jasper's hair looks sooo much better....and Rosalie's...but it was odd seeing Bryce and not Rachelle...maybe I'll get used to her as Victoria but she doesn't seem as fierce to me.
God this looks so much better than New Moon. Hated CW's interpretation after CH's lovely dreamy feel in Twilight. Looks like DS has recaptured that fantastical feel again. Nice to see the muted colours and other worldy looking vampires instead of them caked in makeup and over saturated colours. Woohoo! Can't wait! :D
Eh nice sneak peak, but no amount of Eclipse sneak peaks is enough to convince me to buy the NM dvd. I'm sorry both Kristen and Taylor are blah actors...and for me a movie that is 80% Robward free is not worth watching again, let alone owning.
However the reason I commented is because I wanted to say that I'm really excited that Jasper's hair looks good here! He looks sexy, if indeed this is the hair they're going to go with, long and a bit wavy. I really hope that they show Jasper's background story and Alice's background story and how they met, some A/J romance is gooood.
What I don't like is how they seem to be focusing on the fight scene. I can only hope that they don't have Alice fighting, since that is the part that cemented my love for Alice/Jasper as my second favorite couple, when Jasper didn't allow a single new born to get close to Alice (that is brought to attention in the book when Bella and Edward come down the mountain after the fight, and Bella notices that Alice hasn't even broken a sweat, while Jasper is covered in scars, and then she finds out why from Alice).
I also don't like Kristen saying about Bella that she is "in love" with Jacob just not as much as Edward, this makes me think that they will be playing up a stupid "love triangle" and hence cheapening the E/B romance...ugh
But anyways I am still looking forward to Eclipse, at least Edward is back to being a main character, and I will be waiting for the fan reviews opening weekend to see if they have diminished Edward's character to give time to the boring subplots or not...hopefully Edward will be a very strong presence in Eclipse.
This looks good, but that's a lot of Riley and fight scenes, and did anyone notice the "the boys will like it" hint - ? Wait and see... but it looks exciting and even Jasper's wig has improved!
My inner goddess is doing pirouettes as the Eclipse release approaches. Seeing more of Rob is the best of highs. Can't wait to see David Slade's spin on all things Twilight.
D.M. I'm with you with Bella's "Love Jacob" Comment! Didn't like it at all!!! Book Jake never had a real chance! Never! But maybe they will show it as if in the movie - argh!
Don't get me wrong - I really like Taylor as Jake - but Jake simply is no competition for Edward.

This movie looks like its going to be the best one so far from what I've seen. They all look great apart from Bella's wig. Some parts she looks okay with it but in others it's just weird. Hope her hair grows back for Breaking Dawn.
Can't wait till it's released. It's gonna be agony waiting for it to come out. I'm sure we will see more footage to tease us even more.

I was trying hard to not watch it, because I really don't want a repeat of NM... meaning, I watched so many clips and saw so many pictures that by the time the movie came out I felt as if I had already seen it. I don't want that to happen with Eclipse. BUT, thanks to a few people who commented here saying this really isn't a spoiler, I watched it. And I'm glad I did. Rosalie and Jasper look MUCH better!!! Bella's wig doesn't look as bad as I thought it would and Edward, well Edward is simply beautiful.

I´ve got the sensation that "Eclipse" will be more interested and better than "New Moon". For me it´s clear that David Slade made a good job. I hope because Eclipse is my favorite book.
We can see a very good ambience in the set and the shorts moments with Edward and Bella I love so much.
The Bella´s wig is not bad, it´s not perfect but good.
It´s very good that we can see something action with the vampires, I think Eclipse will be for a lot of audiences, not only women o teenagers.
I hope we can see more things about the movie until final June because personaly the wait is killing me.
One more thing... The Shes in love with her best friend gagged me as well...
She loved Jake in the book, loved him deep, but was not "in love" with him..

Rob looks better as Edward definately in this movie, better han NM with the ridiculous make up so white and the lipstick!
I think Bryce Dallas will be a great and powerfull performance as Victoria.
The dark side will be an add for the movie, I think David Slace has captes very good the sense of the movie.

It will be a relief to not watch 2h of a moping Bella. That nearly did my head in along with the fact that Kristen is not a very good actress. Shes too stiff and wooden for my liking. Like she is incapable of any sort of emotion in her performance. Its all the same. It bored the hell out of me.
Watching this I missed seeing the other Vampires. The less of Bella I have to see the better. This might be wishful thinking as she is the main character. Well, DOH! XD

just re-watched...bryce doesn't look bad, she is not rachelle but rachelle never had a BIG part on the other two movies so i dont think that it's going to be that big of a deal. victoria in the NM just ran, her bigger part was twilight.

Okay, so I have to say my piece about Kristen. I absolutely LOVE her, and everything that people don't like about her when she is Bella is exactly who Bella is. If you read the books Bella is not a normal carefree teenager. She is an old soul who is awkward at times. I don't think KH could have chosen more perfect actors for the characters they are playing...ALL of them are perfect in their roles.
Everyone is entitled to an opinion and that is mine! :)

Kristen and Rob both are a breath of fresh air in Hollywood right now. They are who they are. They basically give the finger to the people who think everyone should be a cookie cutter image of a movie star. These guys are both true talent and will have very long careers IMO.

OK, I watched, I don't even know why I try to resist. You would think they could afford decent wigs wouldn't you? I mean, Twilight & NM made 20 gazillion dollars, so putting out a few extra bucks for good wigs shouldn't kill Summit, Did they ever read a description of Alice's hair? It's supposed to be black, short, & spiky. Not a dark brown bob, I think Kate Gosselin just got that same haircut, it will go great with Alice's smocks.

Finally I heard Kristen say that she loves Jacob but not as much as she her true love, obviously, Edward. It's about freakin' time. I know I've read the books and know who they end but every time she talks she talks about Jacob to the point that I was afraid they were changing the story line.

OMG! Eclipse looks to be stunning. Oh, Edward...finally looking just right - the skin, the clothes, the eyes, the hair. And agreed about Jasper's wig. Finally matches Twilight Jasper. And Rosalie sure does look cute with braids. I even like Esme's hair better here than in NM, but Alice's hair in Twilight was the best so far - true to the book description.
I did the space bar clicky thing - did anyone notice Edward at 0:37 looks like he has a VOLTURI NECKLACE on????? And it's hard to tell with the lighting, but do his eyes look golden or red here? Could this be a scene showing Edward's glimpse of Aro's thoughts in Italy where he saw Aro coveting Edward & Alice's powers and them standing on either side of him???

Bella's wig is different, not bad, but it isn't as good as it was before ( when it was really her hair). A while ago Kristen explained how she could be Bella with a wig but she could not be Joan Jett with a wig. She needed to cut her hair to get into full Joan Jett mode. I respect her for that. Joan Jett is one cool chick!
Rob looks great as Edward! I love Edward all over again!!!!! I am so glad he is a fictional character, other wise I would be in trouble.
Rob and Kristen are under such scrutiny right now. I hope the Twilight fans stick by them as they continue to expand their growing careers. They are stars worth watching.
EC Robward looks HOT but...
am I the only one who miss Edward’s brows in Twilight? They’re tasteful, still manly and fit in well with the character.They weren't overtweezed at all.
And although in twilight DVD commentary You said “never trust a man who plucks his eyebrows” i will stubbornly claim that NM and EC (wild and lickable BTW:) brows are Rob's not Edward's!

Okay...all i can think about is HAIR...Kristen's, Rob's ....I may be the only one, but i like Rob's hair in "Twilight"...now it's looking more like just normal Rob hair, not Edward hair...you know what i mean. Kristen's...man...what can i say. I know it couldn't be helped. But sometimes its looks good, she can pull it off...and other times....ehh...i'm like WTF? Was it a different hairdresser on the day.

@serap~In the books Edwards hair was discribed as tousled~and he even ran his hands through it~at least mentioned once in BD. I like it better in NM and EC. However I don't dislike it in Twilight... but sometimes it just got to be sooo huge in scenes. In the prom scene it's not too big and then by the time they are dancig it's like 3 inches higher... I always laugh at that. As far as Kristens hair... I wish they would have gone with extensions.. however the wig does not from what I have seen look as bad as I thought.

I hate how all of sudden Twilight Saga started to be about Bella & Jacob Love... It make me few MEH for Eclipse havind to hear it. If there is no enough Edward in it I WIL NOT WATCH IT TWICE (I did it for New Moon and did'nt think it paid off)

Saying that, Eclipse looks worth waiting for. Everything we've seen so far looks brilliant. The make up looks so much better, although still don't like Bella's wig.
