THUD THUD - It looks amaaziiing! And Rob's gorgeous! The color palette is beautiful. I love how they focused it mainly on the love triangle, how there's really a LOT of Edward and Bella, and how they stress the idea of choice and changing and consequences. Life and death... And Victoria looks really good! Just missing the Cullens though... no glimpse of them but I guess they could'nt fit all in. It's such a romantic trailer - or is just me?
Edward finally looks like Edward and not like an old tranny coming out of the cabaret early in the morning with lipstick all over his face... LOL... sorry! But that's what he looked like for me in NM... Here, he is mouthwatering....

Yes girls, I know the tranny comment was a little harsh but the make-up in Twilight was perfect and they changed it into something weird. Here, I hope they get back to making Edward look different but not like an alien... A human with extra "powers" is just enough... LOL...
@sissi old tranny - hilarious!! When we went to see NM one of my friends spent the entire film sniggering over Edward's makeup. She doesn't love him like we do. (How can I be friends with these people?) I hated his clothes in NM, thought they dressed him like somebody's old dad. Can't wait to see this one, my favourite book of the saga.
ohhhh.... I love Edward in NM! Rob picked his own clothes and I thought he looked breathtaking!! In he first (dream) scene..I died.. at the school, In the forest.. he looked pretty beat up after Bella left and during Volturi fight but I think that was on purpose. Rob just keeps looking better and better as he matures!!! FILTM!!
*just me* 1.33 min without breathing, my personal record lol.. out off subject and even rude but...as much as i love Robsten idea and admit her good acting in other movies, i can not help myself but ask Kristen: girl, do you remember whom Bella loves, worship? she stops breathing and thinking coherently with Edward around. go to Robsessed, check the fans pix out, look at the girls ogling Robert and do the same, just don't smile..actually you never smile... don't get me wrong, i like her, i"m even team KStew, but want to believe B&E > B&J.
@Olga... Bella/Edward is stronger than Bella/Jacob up to a certain point. It's not the same kind of love and never will be, as long as Bella is human.. She's happy to be with Edward but it's such a dangerous relationship in every way. Edward loves her but could kill her. If she stays with him, she'll have to leave her family and friends and let her "humanity" aside. Jacob loves her too and would die for her... He is the best choice if you were to be reasonable... Both relations are strong, extraordinary and moving, all depends of your own experience, your age and the rest... I've always been Team Jacob which I agree is rather weird knowing that I am robsessed to the last degree...
Everybody here seems to have enjoyed this trailer a lot... I'm probably the only one that is a bit disappointed. I mean from 1:33 the actual trailer is like what...? 1:15? And you can here Edward speak only twice... and everything else is scenery. There's no action and I was really looking forward to see some of the newborns. What I do like about it though, and a lot, is that they have gone back to the color palette from Twilight which is great and the landscape is absolutely breathtaking. But I would have loved to see a bit more acting from the three of them. I think that you can really see that they have changed the image editor because the trailer needs some more work. I hope that the actual trailer is going to be much better.

@fifty.. Yes. Rob hated the coat in Twilight and he chose how he wanted to look and wear for NM because he said he wanted to look more mature since his relationship with Bella was more mature. Rob also liked himself more in NM than Twilight because he said he looked more like him.. Where I think he looks the most breathtaking in NM is when he stands on the staircase towards the end while the Cullens are voting if they want Bella to be one of them or not.. I died in that part.. and when he's walking towards her from his volvo to her at the school! meow!!!
Need oxygen! The trailer is amazing! So far soooo good! Even Jacob( aka the dog) had my heart jumping. Edward is soooo, wait need oxygen, okay Edward is sooo WOW! Stepping outside into the snow to cool off.

Then the Jacob comes on..blah, blah, blah..I love you... Edward and Jacob (and Edward looks smokin hot) where Jacob says he might be better for her (Bella), then it's to Victoria (like Rachelle better, but oh well) looking for Bella. Edward says he'll protect her no matter what! Then more Jacob..blah, blah, blah...

I did that from memory, so I hope I got it right. I know I didn't do it justice, because it is an awesome trailer. Very well shot, David Slade knows what he is doing.
@womadsart Sorry, this is ages after original posts but had to collect kids from school :) Yes, remember Rob's opinion (and share it) on the pea coat in Twilight LOL! Not keen on him in tweed, but LOVED the trousers he wore in Volterra, the way they hung on those hipbones did it for me... So many scenes in Eclipse are bound to do me in, I might have to go by myself the first time or my friends may have me committed!
i actually didn't think it was that great... all the wigs look horrible and idk but it didn't rub me the right way. and this is my fav book so it better be good!
Okay, watched it again (about 20 times :p) and now can say this:
1)The changing colours really are great. Different moods, locations and persons - everything seems to have its own colour. Love it in general and especially the grey/violet range!
2) Please don't get mad at me but may I say I hate Kristellas indifferent, half-open-mouthed face in almost every scene, no matter if she is with Robward or Taycob, her facial expression is always the same. I know its only the teaser and maybe its only bad luck that exactly these scenes (where she has that look on her face) have been picked. But since I didn't like Kristens TW + NM Bella (similar problem there), it looks like I don't will start to love her in EC :(.
3) Robward looks more mature, more manly, if possible :p, than ever. He really did change a lot since the 1st movie. I say its not a bad thing. Even when reading the book the 1st time (before Rob was Edward) he didn't exactly look like 17 in my head. So this is fine with me. And since we will get to see some agressive Edward his mature look fits much more. And with regard to BD - I don't want to see a boy during the honeymoon (or the "cesarian"), a grown up man is what I imagine in my head.
All about the B/E/J triangle, with a touch of the vamps, but going by the usual pattern - the second will have more action sequences I imagine, and the third more Cullens - or vice versa.
WOW! I am stunned. Great trailer, although I have a feeling it doesn't even scratch the surface of this movie. And dare I say BDH as Vic-I was impressed. That clip where she flies through the air-AWESOME! Edward(OMFG), Bella, and Jacob all look fantastic. The colors are like Twi, but a little different. DS has def put his stamp on this one. He has acquitted himself well! LOL. I can't wait for this movie-bring on more footage soon, I say........like Jacksper in that confederate uniform........;)

Very excited to see the trailer. Edward should have had the last words, not Jacob. I hope Eclipse the movie is as good as Eclipse the book and that no on leaves the theater without believing that Bella makes the right choice. Bella and Edward belong together for every day of forever.
Robward looks amazing. I think more 17 ish than NM. I was caught offguard with "victoria", I'm not used to Bryce yet.
I'm good with the trailer. Not really ready to make judgment on 90 seconds that have been pieced together, will just have to wait and see. I will however take advantage of anything offered to look at Rob.

OMG,this is torture.... I haven't seen it but I'm still exited.

Taylor looks great as Jake, love Charlie, don't like Kristen's Bella as usual (don't throw tomatoes at me) and what shall I say about the pretty!?
Can Edward ever be more sexy than as portrayed by Rob in EC? Oh, how I love Robs sideburnes with this great Edward hair!!!! (congrats styling team)
And Robward in the black shirt (talking to Taycob) - unbelievable sexy!!
EC is my favourite book und now it seems DS managed to make a beautiful EC movie!
Can't wait for more to come!

i actually didn't think it was that great... all the wigs look horrible and idk but it didn't rub me the right way. and this is my fav book so it better be good!

Okay, watched it again (about 20 times :p) and now can say this:
ReplyDelete1)The changing colours really are great. Different moods, locations and persons - everything seems to have its own colour. Love it in general and especially the grey/violet range!
2) Please don't get mad at me but may I say I hate Kristellas indifferent, half-open-mouthed face in almost every scene, no matter if she is with Robward or Taycob, her facial expression is always the same. I know its only the teaser and maybe its only bad luck that exactly these scenes (where she has that look on her face) have been picked. But since I didn't like Kristens TW + NM Bella (similar problem there), it looks like I don't will start to love her in EC :(.
3) Robward looks more mature, more manly, if possible :p, than ever. He really did change a lot since the 1st movie. I say its not a bad thing. Even when reading the book the 1st time (before Rob was Edward) he didn't exactly look like 17 in my head. So this is fine with me. And since we will get to see some agressive Edward his mature look fits much more. And with regard to BD - I don't want to see a boy during the honeymoon (or the "cesarian"), a grown up man is what I imagine in my head.

WOW! I am stunned. Great trailer, although I have a feeling it doesn't even scratch the surface of this movie. And dare I say BDH as Vic-I was impressed. That clip where she flies through the air-AWESOME! Edward(OMFG), Bella, and Jacob all look fantastic. The colors are like Twi, but a little different. DS has def put his stamp on this one. He has acquitted himself well! LOL. I can't wait for this movie-bring on more footage soon, I say........like Jacksper in that confederate uniform........;)

Very excited to see the trailer. Edward should have had the last words, not Jacob. I hope Eclipse the movie is as good as Eclipse the book and that no on leaves the theater without believing that Bella makes the right choice. Bella and Edward belong together for every day of forever.
