Edward looks heavenly. They all do but I guess I was hoping for a little more creativity. Maybe a little General Jasper Whitlock kicking some newborn ass in the background? Maybe some Victoria? I mean, this could be the poster for NM.
But Eclipse Edward is definitely shaping up to be my favorite by far.
Can't wait for the BD poster where it should be just Bella and Edward or maybe they'll have Renesmee and Jacob on it as well...........Edward and Bella look gorgeous in this poster........thanks for posting
Yeah, as has been said, the choices have to do with marriage and becoming a vampire, not E/J. This is marketing. In Eclipse, Bella acknowledges to herself that life with Jacob is an alternative path - but that's not one she's even able to choose. When she met Edward it was a done deal for both of them. Least that's the way I read it.
I really agree with @Emily and @Nikolina. Really?! Is this all they could have done with the Eclipse poster?! Come on. I think the Twilight one is actually the better one. This one is just to simple. Anyone could have done it. You don't really have to be very creative do do something this simple. I think that the fan made posters are a whole lot better. Summit should really hire some of the so many talented fans out there.

@Gwen. GAAAAAH! love that! This official one looks the same as the NM one. It should be Bella in Edward's arms, and Jacob hanging in the background like the pest he was. You all that say it's so blah - what were you expecting to see? If you look at the the posters for the previous posters this follows the pattern. I like it - I think it's fine.
Chocolate Martini Gal - This is just my opinion but to me, I'm getting zero emotion from this. They are all just staring straight ahead. They look beautiful, I'm just not getting anything from it.
In the Twilight one, Edward is holding Bella in such a protective and defensive way. In the NM poster (one of the versions anyway) Bella is holding onto Jacob but it's easy to see the rivlary and emotions between Edward and Jacob.
I don't hate it, just wish they would have have done a little more. Plus the tag line is bugging me. :)
@Dessert: nope, no twitter. My day was mixed, but overall it turned out ok. Especially with lemon and raisin pancakes, and a new poster to come home to. I like the pancakes better. ;-)

@Dessertfist- I just saw your videos on youtube and I must say you're one talented lady! I loved the Edward Twilight vs New Moon. I preffer New Moon. He looks so much more sophisticated and beautiful. I tink the golden eyes and hair cut made a big difference.

Sent it to 2 friends, all agreed with me it's just OK, but really it is blah, no dynamic to it. NM was better in that respect. @Haystack, your idea would have worked better and conveyed the dramatic content. Like the dark blue coloring.
Well I have a word for it: underwhelming and emotionless. I'm sorry but Taylor and Kristen just look funny (there's something "not right" in the way they're looking and posture). And even Robert doesn't look as good as he does in other photos. Basically it's very average, and I don't like that they put Edward in the background. He's the main lead here alongside Bella.
Anyways I hope that there will be only one BD movie (that book was NOT good).
@RPG, Oh there isn't a new chappie then :( I was surprised when I read the update allert! I guess we'll have to wait until Saturday then.. I always get excited when the weekend approaches, UoEM on Saturdays and HTSAL on Sundays!!!
I guess I'm still wondering what those who don't like it would do. Keeping with the branding of the movie the way the previous posters have been - what would you have preferred to see that would bring emotion, or whatever you all want to see.

1. Krisella looks gorgeous and fierce. 2. Rob's hair looks too gelled, too short, and too different from the previous films. 3. That's just not a good picture of Jaklor Blautner. Not good at all.
@Chocolate, No, you're right for questioning. There could have been something between E&B with Jacob in the background, just something more than just the 3 of them standing still with frozen expressions (see Marna's comment). Anything to convey a dynamic between the characters as the NM poster does quite well. A picture can convey a 1,000 words if done right. This conveys nothing. IMHO.
I like the poster! The only thing that I don't like a lot is that Edward is standing just beside Jacob..It just doesn't feel right.. There are not the same, they never were and they will never be. As many of you said it was never truly a choice.
Anyway, IMO that poster is good! I just hope they will make some changes at the trailer though. I believe some battle scenes should be included for 2 reasons: 1) the battle plays an important role in the book 2) male audience will find it more interesting

She comes to Robsessed daily to check out the pics and vids, but sounds like she doesn't do the comment section. I am trying to convert her. She knows all the Rob words. -snicker- of course she does. She is a total fanatic as we are. Check her out, suzyq402. We live very close to one another. So glad to find someone near as crazy about Rob as I am.... It really feels good. @ Vafla89 - what is HTSAL? I can't seem to place it, but I do read UOEM and love it. I could not find the new chapter either. Even though I checked the boxes for the alert for it, it hasn't come through on ff the last couple of times.
@Barbara, it's 'How to save a life'! It's really nice, sometimes heartbreaking but really nice!!! I read HTSAL, UoEM, MOTU and Edward Wallbanger.
UoEM updates always take place on Saturdays and HTSAL a life on Sundays so I look for them without waiting for the updating alert! (the last UoEM update was 3/20, ch 27)
MOTU updates take place twice a week (usually on Mondays and Thursdays).
Edward Wallbanger is the most hillarious ff ever!! Unfortunately the updates are random...

@ Vafla89 - what is HTSAL? I can't seem to place it, but I do read UOEM and love it. I could not find the new chapter either. Even though I checked the boxes for the alert for it, it hasn't come through on ff the last couple of times.

I read HTSAL, UoEM, MOTU and Edward Wallbanger.
UoEM updates always take place on Saturdays and HTSAL a life on Sundays so I look for them without waiting for the updating alert!
(the last UoEM update was 3/20, ch 27)
MOTU updates take place twice a week (usually on Mondays and Thursdays).
Edward Wallbanger is the most hillarious ff ever!! Unfortunately the updates are random...
