Robert Pattinson and Uma Thurman filming in Hertford

HOLLYWOOD stars Robert Pattinson, Uma Thurman and Christina Ricci were spotted at Balls Park yesterday (Wednesday 17th March) whilst filming their latest movie.
The actors were at the Manor House in Hertford filming Bel Ami – a movie adaptation of Guy de Maupassant’s novel with the same title – originally set in Paris.
Pattinson plays Georges Duroy – a man who rises to the top by manipulating a series of powerful and wealthy mistresses.
The actor stars opposite Uma Thurman, who plays a woman high up in Parisian society and later becomes Duroy‘s wife.
Christina Ricci plays one of Duroy’s many mistresses in the film.
The stars were spotted this morning as they were on their way to hair and make-up, all stars apart from Pattinson walked the 30 metres from their trailers to the filmset.
Thurman was wearing denim jeans knee high boots and a brown jacket, while Ricci had her hair styled in 19th century ringlets.
The stars are due to be on set till the weekend and the film is due to be released in 2011.

The articles out today, are especially good... especially from New York. He sounds like he's been able to leave the field unscathed following the harsh photos of his premiere afterparty in London... Nice work, Rob! too bad your agents are now the ones responsible for the bad press... I've noticed that all my comments on this site, and elsewhere about Rob's needing to take control of his "handlers", not he of him, have been pulled from the online sites after about a day or so. Somebody is getting scared.

Remember Me beat the Runaways in the box office this weekend. But Runaways was playing on way less theaters.
After Rob's 'training' he can do the 'vampire run' at will. No shutter can capture him in motion...He is using this to effect on set and off. You will hear rumours of Rob sightings in every major city. They are true.

ReplyDeleteSince Kristen's name has been raised here, has anyone thought or cared about the fact that her birthday is coming up in 3 weeks. Not a milestone, but she will be 20years old, what an old soul she has. So who's going to be celebrating her birthday with her? If there are any transatlantic flights involved, I'm convinced. Just saying..bet my paycheck if she went for New Years, it was a done deal, and she did. I know, I know, what does it matter.

I wonder if they have filmed this alleged orgy scene we got news of last week. I want to hear about that.
Can't imagine how many 'modesty patches" he's had to wear for this film.
He is very brave to take on this role in BA knowing that he's very stressed out doing sex scenes.

I heard Rob said that he is busy for the next 2 years at least, I wonder what else is in the lineup.
Wow, he is really really busy. Between all the shoots, i wonder how he will fit in Eclipse promo, WFE seemed like smack in the middle of that release unless they can finish a film in a snap.
Oh my god that is just down the road from me, I've been there loads!!! I used to walk my dog around the grounds of the old house and have a crafty smoke, it's where Hertfordshire University used to have a campus. Shit I can't believe he was literally nextdoor :(
ReplyDeletethanks for the comments on my posting... and yes, I have posted comments about the agents and others implying that they were not doing their job well enough to keep him safe from the harsh photographers that were shooting after the party.. I went to several sites and saw a variety of pics and mentioned that these paid reps needed to do their jobs or go... and in two days my comments were gone. There is such huge money at stake here; I'm glad to see it's still here... a great site in so many ways.
ReplyDeleteJust an afterthought: It's foolish to think that all these fan sites are not scanned and monitored by studios, agents or distributors. The Twilight movies and resulting products are a global, billion dollar business and no one with a finger in that pie is about risk losing it. They are watching what is posted and what is expected in the future.
