@femroc - I've just checked next week-end openings and I see that the Green Zone blockbuster is opening on the same day as RM, but Green Zone's got a lot more theaters too, about 3000 vs "only" 1900 for RM. It will also be only the 2nd week-end for "Alice in Wonderland". But they are very different films targeting different audiences... and I don't suppose we can compare blocbusters with a small film like RM. Still- I'm really very, very curious to know what RM will gross on its opening week-end! I hope it will be very good!

ReplyDelete@femroc - I've just checked next week-end openings and I see that the Green Zone blockbuster is opening on the same day as RM, but Green Zone's got a lot more theaters too, about 3000 vs "only" 1900 for RM. It will also be only the 2nd week-end for "Alice in Wonderland". But they are very different films targeting different audiences... and I don't suppose we can compare blocbusters with a small film like RM. Still- I'm really very, very curious to know what RM will gross on its opening week-end! I hope it will be very good!

ReplyDeleteI've been to Moulin Rouge in Paris - a LONG time ago.........it was the coolest thing I'd ever seen. Great show and lots of nudity but there was so much glitz and glamour you didn't notice it as being anything but part of the show.
