  5. Hmm...I can normally spot Rob, he doesn't blend in very well, but not in this one. Where is he? Am I going blind?

I like the guy at 0:30 walking by waving his arms pretending like everyone is cheering for him. Hahaha!

  8. Emily - you have to look fast! He is near the beginning and you can hear him more than see him. You can hear him say good night in Hungarian. Can't miss his voice. Then you can hear the swoons from the ladies.

  19. Finally! Fixed the problem with my computer. Apparently an asshole was trying to steal my credit card information, my computer freaked out and locked me out, causing me to break out said credit card to buy an anti virus thingy. GAH! My relationship with this damn computer is love-hate!

Anyhoo... Rob was sweet. He takes the time to say goodnight in their language. I always laugh at how the fans loose their collective facilities and forget their filming. LOL! But instead of complaining Im greatful. These fans are brining us some lovely pictures.

  20. Marna you're welcome!

i think that video is better because you can see and ooooohhhhhh hear Rob! i'm really grateful to the people there for being silent. it's so funny when he stops speaking, suddenly all the people yells! ajaja

i've sent an e-mail to Goz,Kat and Kate with the link of the video. My opinion is: sharing is living, we have to share Rob!

i hope people read my comment and see the link in order to watch the video but i'm afraid not a lot of people read my comments...

  21. It's so unbelievable how great the Hungarian - fans are. Even if they scream , then they do it very quiet. How do they do it only.

  22. Hi, gals, as I´ve already said it on som other threads earlier today I´m a newbie here - a VERY useful newbie as it seems. Cause u see - I´m Hungarian. And Yes, he´s ADORABLE when he speaks Hungarian in this vid, and yes, he says the words PERFECTLy, it sounds perfect when HE says "good night" "jó éjszakát"! Perfect!!!!!!!
And I´m just a pudding right now - RP just said good night TO ME!
    YEY!!!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  23. He says "Jó éjszakát!" at around 0:07-0:09.

I'm impressed. He barely has any accent. It's weird to hear him sound like a native Hungarian. :)

    Pesten vagy? Hol laksz?
I´m in Croatia but I´m Hungarian, so I can enjoy this divine man from here. I used to visit Budapest a lot when I was a child, adored the city, the theatres, the operahouse, the river, the old, stylish buildings - all of it. Happy for Rob, Hungary does indeed love him!

  28. He amazes me. Most actors would be screaming to have the set cleared and get all those people out of there and rightfully so as fans have no business on a film set that they were not invited to and I don't care if they are filming in public. It's still inappropriate to be there. And I don't care if people are nice and polite. It's still a big distraction when people are trying to work. Sorry, but I'm a hardass when it comes to this. And yes, I understand people's desire to want to see him, but this is not the time or the place. And I don't want to get into a big discussion about this. After the circus of last summer when he filmed Remember Me, I more than voiced my opinion on all of this. But I gotta say, I am in awe of him. I don't care how sweet and nice he is, you have to know that this distracts him from his work process and perhaps embarrasses him in front of his fellow actors because they have to put up with it too...because of him. But still, he handles it all with such grace. I don't know how he does it. I've got several years on him and I know I couldn't. His parents have done a magnificent job in raising him. They raised him with class. And what is class? It's not your bank account and what that can buy you. Class is how you treat people. Plain and simple. An anology I often use is, you could be a bag lady pushing a grocery cart in the street and be loaded with class. And so is Rob. You did a great job with him Mama and Papa P.

And please don't anyone get upset with me about my stance on fans on a film set. I know I'm in the vast minority here and I do understand the desire and the temptation. I really do. I'm a fan too. And this is just my opinion and I usually qualify that by saying...that don't make me right. However in this instance, I am right. And the only reason I even looked at this type of video (which I normally do not do. Some people want to be spoiler free when it comes to movie plots. I'm uncomfortable looking at a piece of video that has essentially been stolen from a film set as none of this is ready for public consumption). But I looked at this one because I was just wondering the other day, now that he's shooting in public again, if he's had to contend with what he dealt with last summer. And when I saw the tag that he was telling the fans goodnight, I was curious.

Yeah. He's a good boy allright. Let's hope that this constant scrutiny doesn't take it's toll on him and change him from the sweetheart that he is. If it did change him, I don't know how anyone could stand in judgement of him. But they would. The minute he started treating the public with ANY kind of annoyance(sp?), they'd turn on him like snakes, calling him a stuck up bastard whose stardom has gone to his head. You know they would. I'd just think (if it ever came to this) that the fans would have no one but themselves to blame. Like they'd shoulder that. Right. Anyway...

    He's a nice boy. And I'm a hardass.

  29. Nikola, I agree with you - enough pics of Rob filming!! It has to be distracting having a crowd around everytime he's trying to film and even at night. Leave our boy alone!

  30. @nikola U R right, don´t blame yourself just because u say your opinion. I love your comments, I call u our "Hollywood-insider" - yeah, I know u don´t even want to hear it (or be called like that). But for us, Europeans, u really r!
And yes, He is nice, IMHO he´s too nice&pretty for his own goods. And yes once again - the world will use his kindness and then, when it gets enough of him will throw him away, will bash him & find the next "it-guy" And yes 1 more time, life sucks.
BUT - did u see/listen to Him saying goodnight to fans in a perfect Hungarian accent???!!!... and I - as a Hungarian - mean PERFECT!
    Hi from a newbie! /waves/

  31. Nik6 Not going to call you a hardass because I totally agree with you..ALL of it..Well said.

  32. Thanks guys. I always get nervous when I spout off with my high falutin' opinions. Doesn't stop me though, does it? LOL!

And I don't want to be throwing a bucket of cold water on other's enjoyment, but the truth is...enjoying all these pics and videos of him working comes at a price. One that he has to pay. Maybe I wouldn't have such a problem with it if people stopped photographing and filming him and then running to the internet with it. He knows when the papps or the fans are there, that he's being filmed every second and that within an hour or so, it's going to be splashed around the world. And his work isn't ready to be seen yet. It reminds me of why he stopped doing open night gigs. Why? Because people were taping him and putting it up on YouTube and these impromtu performances were not meant for a worldwide audience. So...he had to stop doing them. And they were important to him in that he was honing his craft; learning how to be a musician in front of a live audience. It brought him alot of joy to be able to do this and I remember when he realized he couldn't do it anymore, there was a real sadness about him. I think he said something like...'that's been taken away from me.' Yeah. So if people would just keep their damn technology in their pockets. But whadda ya gonna do?

As for me being a Hollywood insider. Well. I dunno about that. I'm more Hollywood 'fringe.' I grew up in the industry and I still have friends who work in the business. But I don't. Not anymore. But yeah, I guess I do know a bit more about how things work than your average bear. But by no means am I an expert. Some things I know absolutely and others, I'm just taking an educated guess.

But I do admit that I sometimes worry that I'm coming off as some kind of know-it-all when all I really want to do is share some of what I do know, or what I think I know. Ya know? LOL!

  36. @ Nikola6: outstanding, as always. You draw our eyes to what we are sometimes too dazzled to see.

'that's been taken away from me.'

Honest to God, those words felt like a punch in the guts. Poor Rob :(.

It's still a balm to the heart seeing and hearing how Rob interacts with fans, but it is true that he should not be distracted while he works, though that's easier said than done...

  37. @nikola6

ITA, although I cannot stop myself from looking at all of these photos and vids coming from the set, I feel slightly uneasy about it all. To have to work and to produce something good under those conditions must be a real strain, not just for Rob, but for all involved.

Similarly, in RL, things like twitter must make it a nightmare for him, and I know that he has commented on this before. Sadly, these things are here to stay, and come with the package of modern celebrity, whether it is wanted or not.

  38. I know this thread is dead but I checked back to see if I'd pissed anyone off with my comments. Didn't want to do that. And what did I find? More lovely comments. If anyone checks back in here...

    Thank you.
