Robert Pattinson Wins Best Foreign Actor In Russia's 'Georges' Awards

The awards are presented by online movie site kinopoisk.ru.

Our lovely follower @kosh789 says the ceremony was March 31.

'New Moon' won for Best Foreign "Drama" (bit odd, but we'll take it), and it came in at #4 in the category of Top Films of the Year. Kristen also won for Best Foreign Actress.

Best part for us.. learning how to spell Robert Pattinson in Russian: Congratulations Роберт Паттинсон!

    Isn't it funny ? When I saw it first I thought he got an award for playing Georges and thought how could that be??

    i am not sure but i guess the award is called Georges in honour of Saint Georges..really doesn't matter . just want to say take that, haters! hope they won't say he won thanks to teenyboppers. i'm so proud of him!

    Rob always deserves an award. His performances are the best: Edward; Daniel; Art; Salvador and now Tyler. In the near future will be the time of Georges Duroy and Jacob.

    I love Rob. He is always good in everything he does.

    I`m sorry for disappointing you, but the award is named in honor of Georges Méliès LOL
