I am a Muse fan, but when I heard this song the first time I wasn't impressed. Then yesterday when Rob walked out on Ellen's show and it was playing in the background, it changed my opinion. And now seeing the video with the E&B images and really listening to the lyrics...OMFG!

But Edward at 3:05 totally breaks my heart :( Maybe this is from the scene where Bella tells Edward that she kissed Jacob... gah I wanted to destroy my book while reading the part with the kiss...
Viacom have blocked it - that's the message I'm getting - that's happened in the last 10 minutes.
I did watch it 10 minutes ago thankfully before it was pulled! Can't find it on YouTube either now.
Er ... that kiss was just OK. There was something missing for me. It like a sad PG kiss to me after the 20th take with the emotion squeezed out. Edward/Rob was slightly more into that kiss, but Bella seemed restrained (which unlike the emotions Bella has in the books when she kisses Edward).
LOVED THE SONG...and the scenes on here made me even more anxious for Eclipse....and ROB sigh what can i say ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh he's gonna kill us all in ECLIPSE!!!!

I'm such a great Muse fan (for quite a time now) and I sadly have to confess that I'm somewhat disappointed with this new song :(.
I adore Muse not only for their brilliant music but especially for Matt`s extraordinary voice (it's the same reason why I love Keane so much, too - allthough sounding completely different than Matt, Tom has such a beautiful voice, it can make your heart ache), for the piano I love so much (at this place also thanks to Keane for using the piano, I wish the would do more so in their newer songs) and Matt's exceptional skills on the guitar.
This seems to be music for the masses - especially masses of very girly teens :( - and although I wish Muse all the success in the world, I hope that their work will not be valuated by this song. They can do so much better.
After listening to the song several times, I can say that it's growing on me, but it holds nothing against brilliant pieces as bliss, butterflies & hurricanes, showbiz, exogenesis part III, stockholm syndrome, blackout, etc.
Of course, Rob is very sexy in this vid (hoooooot sideburns - yum) but also Matt looks mighty fine here, love how the black shirt is clinging to his body :).

This is the best single so far! It is way above the caliber of that Paramore song (I'm sorry but Haley's voice is average and too generic). And the NM single was average as well. This song however, is just GREAT! I LOVE how they include a little classical with their rock music, it sounds so good! And the lead singer has a really good voice. You've got to respect this band, they're really good.
I'm thinking if all the songs on the soundtrack are close to the caliber of this Muse song, then I will buy the soundtrack this time, even if I'm not really excited for the movie because I feel that they are playing up a silly "love triangle", and downplaying Edward's character.

I watched the kiss again - thanks to the new link. The best bit for me is actually right after the kiss and you see Rob's beautiful profile and pouty lips - right when it fades out.
This kiss is a taster, so I'm hoping that the full clip really delivers the kind of sensual kissing that hasn't really been repeated since the 1st Twilight kiss and all those steamy deleted scenes.
