  8. Oh, I love those two together. They make an awesomely hilarious team.

And why did I not know Rob used to take ballet? That's awesome, I can just imagine him, a cute blonde haired boy in a room full of girls wearing tights.. hehehe. Like a little Billy Elliot, so cute.

    ReplyDelete
  9. thank u.
    ♥ u kate

    ReplyDelete
  10. I didn't know about the ballet but Rob in tight pants is always a winner LOL
I really like Ellen, she's sarcastic and it takes an intelligent person to answer her comments and laugh at them. I think that Rob has always done great on her show and she must like him because he's already been there a few times.

    ReplyDelete
  11. of course, I can see the advertisements, but not Rob. Sigh.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Yeah, it's a pretty crappy stream, but at least it's semi-functioning.

    ReplyDelete
  13. Is it me or does he seem a bit subdued...don't quite know how to put it...just doesn't seem himself...still lovely of course...that goes without saying!

    ReplyDelete

  21. puuufff while i was listening and watching ellen on the link, i was doing a simultaneous interpretation from english to spanish, on a latin blog, it's been insane, i have such a headache right now! ajajaj

    ReplyDelete
  22. I just got done watching what has been posted so far, will watch the whole thing this afternoon when i get home. He looks so cute and it was hilarious when he thought she had a video of him dancing, too funny. ellen is a relaxing interviewer, none of the dumb ass questions, just fun.

  23. OT
rpg- on MSN homepage, they confirmed that R&K were at ritz but in laguna nigel, not LA. so you were right :) now i will go to you to confirm all of the rumors, since you are rob's ambassador LOL.

FUCK I LOVE ROBERT FUCKING PATTINSON.

I love you kate. I love internet and 2010.

    ReplyDelete
  26. I am so bummed about the Jimmy Kimmel tickets...I requested them as soon as they were available and didn't get them...

    wahhhh again...

    ReplyDelete
  27. OMG could the man be any more adorable--more Rob words to add to the list--circus, water, elephants--and the giggle * sigh*

sorry about the tix RPG :(

    ReplyDelete
  28. Have the Pattin Pattinson Game Vid up, sound is not good on it, it's recorded from the stream. I'll update as soon as a better one comes in ;-)

    ReplyDelete
  29. Is that it, does it finish after "the game" or is there more? Couldn't see the live stream, it didn't work for me.

Thought Rob looked very young, and tired. And gorgeous!

As for the interview, unless I've missed part of it, Ellen didn't ask him anything very interesting.

Lucky girl to feel the guys, not easy with the robes on. Rob looked a little uncomfortable with this bit ....

    ReplyDelete
  30. ...Omg i cannot wait to watch the rest, thank you Kate I know i can always rely on this blog!!! Filtm

    ReplyDelete
  31. @ rpattz...what? you didn't get the tickets???? nooooooooooooooooo fuck!

    I'm very sad, sorry

    ReplyDelete
  32. Est,
Nope...says they're sold out....It was a crap shoot anyway...I was just really hoping that just once luck was on my side!

    ReplyDelete
  33. thanks, Kate for the 2nd vid--WHY didn't she touch his hands--the fingers would have given him away for sure--

    ReplyDelete
  34. Awww No I'm sorry RPG! :-(

    You're welcome Cindygal

    ReplyDelete
  35. Thanks Kate, I'm a gonna go cry in the corner now....

    ReplyDelete
  36. If that's it, then I think it was a disappointing interview.... what, they talked about nits, nerves, a tiny bit about the new film, and then the Pat Pattinson bit??

God, that's almost as bad as a Jonathan Ross interview in the UK.

    Wasted opportunity in my view.

Kate, thanks for posting it all the same - always a delight to have a look at our boy !

    ReplyDelete
  37. @ rpattz...well, let's find some consolation, you will always have Robstock II and you're very lucky with that ;)

    ReplyDelete
  38. i got the whole live feed but to much things to see before rob guess i will just wait until later,in my country we call it lice also but nits are the eggs before they become lice and may that's what rob meant

    ReplyDelete
  39. And of course still can't see it from work, must be youtube right? Is it posted anywhere else that I might see? cause heaven forbid I have to wait till I get home. LOL

    ReplyDelete
  40. It's on the ellen site too just the interview no game http://ellen.warnerbros.com/

    Hope that helps ;-)

    ReplyDelete
  41. Lovely! :))))

Have I ever said that I love his laugh!? Well, I do! :)

To the blindfolded girl- YOU SHOULD'VE JUST TOUCH THE HANDS!!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  42. I just got a different vibe from this interview but Rob looks so cute with his short hair, makes is face more beautiful. He looked a little antsy when the girl ran her hands down his legs, or couse, I wish that had been me. With all three guy the same height and build, it would be hard to pick him out unless you took hold of his hands.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Oh no! Kate I really hoped you'd say there are 5 more vids that still need to be uploaded =/ But thank you anyways =)
The game was funny, but still...I can't believe that's it. I am extremely disappointed!

    ReplyDelete
  44. @Kate--Thanks for the tip that it's on Ellen's website-I can see it!!!!

He is the most adorable man ever! The hair cut, the giggle, the shy smile and the facial expressions...FILTM!!!

He still looks shocked when an audience screams for him. Why does he not get it? IT IS all about you Rob, all about you.

    ReplyDelete
  45. yeah i know his interview in ellen is always short. she should dedicate the whole show to rob so we can get more from him :)

    ReplyDelete
  46. May be It is just me but did not like the game, for many reasons( conservative stand)
RP appeared very tired and subdued, pleasure to see him though.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Est,
You are right! I'm just being greedy-I want it all!!!

    ReplyDelete
  48. @Est @RPG--{Waves}
No JK tickets for me, either. :(
But as Est said, we will (fingers crossed) see him in about, oh, 36 days at the premiere!

    Whooohoooo Robstock II!

    ReplyDelete
  49. in the tent scene in eclipse do you think rob was jealous? not edward rob and taylor was sort of rub in it in or speaking about it,i remember in an interview kristen had to make it very clear to taylor it was just acting and she consider him like a little brother! sorry rpattzgirl i meant to address this to you but i forgot to place your name first

    ReplyDelete
  50. evangeline,
Uh...I don't think so...but I don't really know. It's acting, and they all seem very professional, so I really would not think there would be actual jealousy going on there.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Okay, I watched it again and it wasn't toooooo bad! Rob extremely cute and sexy with that hair! Still embarrassed about the screaming - why - he should be used to it be now! Was he saying "I don't care" ?? What?

One thing - I absolutely love that Muse song - it's just so perfect for Eclipse. It sort of highlights the enormous decisions that are taken in this part of the sage.

    ReplyDelete
  52. @RPG - Did anyone get tix for JK? A couple other blogs were asking if anyone did and so far no one. I didn't either :-(

    ReplyDelete
  53. @rpg and cl sorry about the tickets :( but you still have robstock II. hug rob for me :)

    ReplyDelete
  54. ...i just watched the second video & I was like is that all and then I remembered its not the Oprah Show Ellen probably has some other guests to interview...I'm not complaining :-\. Anyway our Rob was perfect as usual!

    ReplyDelete
  55. HeartThePretty,
I don't think so, haven't heard anyone hooping & hollaring that they got them...

    Lexie,
Thanks hun...and if I can get close enough I'll send him your love!

    ReplyDelete
  56. saw it on her site. Cute, but too short. He really looked nervous about the game when it first started. I like how the third guy was protecting his package. LMAO!!

    ReplyDelete
  57. @RPG and CULLENLOVER I cant believe that so sorry I wish you could take the tickets

    ReplyDelete
  58. rob talking about eclipse on ellen- was this not aired?

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PrOjvbRHshw&feature=player_embedded

    ReplyDelete
  59. the beginning is the eclipse part, it moves into the pattin pattinson after about a minute and a half

    ReplyDelete
  60. I haven't seen the show yet, so I may be talking out of my ass, and I love Ellen to death, and I love Rob on Ellen-but just once, I would love to see someone sit down with him on camera and ask meaningful questions about his work and projects...

I do think we saw that more during the Remember Me press junket, but we don't seem to get that during Twilight stuff...

    anyway, that's just my opinion....

    ReplyDelete
  61. I'm sorry, but how silly and embarassing for Rob to have to be a part of a "feel up" game. I mean really, what is the point to that game? It's an invasion of personal space and I don't think he ever should have been asked to participate. Of course he said yes, because he's a gentleman, but I am certain that it is not something he would have wanted to do on his own.

I agree. A rather dissappointing interview with very little substantive content. Of course, we did learn that he once took ballet...so maybe the interview was worth it just for that little snippet of information.

Oh Rob...is it even possible for me to adore you any more than I already do? I don't know...but visions of you dancing about stage in a leotard definitely make me inclined to think so, lol.

    ReplyDelete
  62. thank you rpattzgirl'and that's true almost all interview are the same and it's only because it's rob were are looking at them but to me now all the interview are coming like recurring decimals they do not really asking him about what he will be working on in the near future or after twilight sagas are over what next some thing that we haven't heard already

    ReplyDelete
  63. Very true...

We have to keep in mind though that TV talk shows are about entertainment & ratings, so they tend to keep things light....

    ReplyDelete
  64. Oh Robert looks adorable in the new haircut! I mean I wasn't sure how well it would suit him, but now that I've finally seen him clearly with the new haircut, I can safely say we are going to get one HOT/Sexy Jacob Jankowski!

And Robert is just too sexy. I love his joking around, I just wish the interview was longer. oh and I didn't know that he did ballet until he was 10 (I'm thinking his sisters took him with them? too cute), lol that would explain the wonky feet!
But he seemed a little tired in this interview.

Anyways very good interview, and I really like the new hair cut!

    ReplyDelete
  65. @RPG: I know what you mean. I don't think Twilight engenders it, and maybe it would have to be a longer forum. If he did Charlie Rose, Actor's Studio or some such there might be a chance. I'm also more hopeful for Bel Ami and particularly WFE interviews because of the projects themselves.

    ReplyDelete
  66. AP,
That would be an amazing thing to see!

    ReplyDelete
  67. ARGH! My laptop keeps buffering... and buffering... and buffering. F**K it, I'll watch Ellen at 4 like everbody else. *grumbling*

I agree with you guys that I wish they would have asked him about Bel Ami or what his next project is. It would help flesh out Robs status as a star, rather than a one hit wonder.

    ReplyDelete
  68. @RPG: well, we may have to wait...but yes, it would be. :)

Re the nits: there are still professional nit-pickers in existence. I met two in NYC...I didn't have lice, though, I hasten to add...lol

    ReplyDelete
  69. @RPG: Truly. They get outbreaks there in schools and such, and sometimes the traditional methods are still the only way to eradicate the little buggers, apparently. See...you learn something new everyday...at least I did...;)

    ReplyDelete
  70. I have not seen it on TV yet, just YouTube version, but a fail for me. No comparison with his last outing there. Perhaps, he was a bit tired which didn't help.
I'm going to agree with Besotted about asking him to do that silly game. HOWEVER, if it was me, I would have immediately grabbed one of his arms (or both) and felt it and then the hand. I think I would recognize the hair on his arm as well as his hand.
Lastly, shoot me if you want, I HATE the hair. I never, ever thought his hair meant all that much to me, but I don't likey that short cut. I know it is necessary for his character in WFE, but I've alway liked a man with more rather than less hair on his head (no Butch cuts, please or shaved heads, yet don't mind baldness) and his hair is so bloody gorgeous. My 2 cents.

@CL, when you come back later, want to clear up misunderstanding about "shoelace bracelet" question.

    ReplyDelete
  71. AP - that is so true about the prof. nit pickers when i was in elem. school over 20 yrs there was a really bad outbreak and they had professionals come in with these white looking tong things and they wore gloves and they went thru all of the everyone's hair, i guess to figure out who had them and who didn't, i didn't thank god, my hair was sooo long back then and that would have sucked. sorry for butting into your convo, just had to add :))

    ReplyDelete
  72. AP,
Wow, I had no idea...you're right, learn something new everyday!!!

    ReplyDelete
  73. lallieb,
It's all about personal opinion...nothing wrong with that...

While I prefer his longer hair & sideburns (sniff) I still think he looks gorgeous ans sexy as ever!

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  75. AP- yeah i was like 8yrs old and they were all rough trying to poke your head with these pokey things, i dont remember much of my childhood but that stayed in mind, crazy, huh.

    ReplyDelete
  76. Ana--sent you an email--read when you have time--reg- BDBH

    ReplyDelete
  77. Oh GOd please don't talk about nits. The first showing at school trust my kids to catch them. I have been fighting ugly with those for years. Strong little sh..these nits.LOL

    ReplyDelete
  78. @Anya and Dina: Oops. Didn't mean to bring back..er..nitty memories. No more lousy words, I promise. ;)

@lallieb: the hair hasn't been fully styled yet, but you may still not like it, all the same. lol

Wish I could hang out but gotta go...

    ReplyDelete
  79. @AP - agree, we should start a campaign to get him on the "Actors Studio" or "Charlie Rose." Would appreciate a more in depth conversation and no audience interference...

BTW: LOVE THE NEW HAIR! LOVED THE OTHER HAIR AS WELL!

  83. It is all about you Rob- And only You.

    FILTM-More and more

(and there is a wonderful vid from Eclipse about Bella and Rosalie on You tube)

    ReplyDelete
  84. HE IS BEAUTIFUL!!! A LOOOOOT!!!
To be honest I agree with the ones that say this interview by itself it's nothing special ... but he is sooo very special anyway. And ... yes ... the girl should have touched his perfect hands, nobody else owns hands like those... and in the end I totally love the new haircut!!!

    ReplyDelete
  85. lallieb, you're not alone. I don't like the short haircut either. I miss the sex hair. Oh well, I'm sure it will reappear again.

plumwink, agree with ya on the sexy silk robe!

    ReplyDelete
  86. I laughed that she felt his shoe twice- looking for those big feet? I am totally jealous of her, but she was cute. IF it were me, I think I might have slipped and grabbed some ass!!! LOL

    ReplyDelete
  87. @plumwink agree with you

@heart-rob yeah more and more if someone would say that I love a man so much I wouldnt believe it

@jimm4832 and lallieb thats your own choice girl so I respect that

    ReplyDelete
  88. I can't wait to see the show. He looked so adorable and was so funny! I was worried about the haircut, but it's okay.

    ReplyDelete
  89. He's coming on after this commercial break. I can not wait!!!

    ReplyDelete
  90. I'm so glad you posted these, it's finally on in my timezone and I have audio but no picture. Every other channel is working fine except NBC. I still wish I'd be watching him on my big screen and not my 15inch laptop. Anyway thanks for having these.

    ReplyDelete
  91. Ladies
Do not be sad because of the hair. It's for a movie, and you will love this film. Because there is Robert F * ing Pattinson.

@ Robsessive Yes there is no end. We love Rob more and more. Because Rob begins only now so right. Here comes a great time for him and us fans.
    And Rob,
Even if you have hair lice and problems in thinking and speaking. We love you anyway. You will not get rid of us. You have to come with other stories. But I think it will be difficult for you. LOL

    ReplyDelete
  92. @heart-rob girl you said what I have thought I think that I am so lucky because I am part of the generation which has such a perfect man like ROB

    ReplyDelete
  93. Oprah's interview was much better than Ellen's. It seemed that Ellen was rushing him and couldn't wait until it was over so she could ge to Adam Lambert whom she kissed on the mouth. I know Ellen has a quick wit, but her interview with Rob when he was promoting New Moon was a hundred times better. Look how one of those guys keeps looking at Rob. Rob was a good sport, always willing to please. Just love this man and everything about him except maybe smoking.

    ReplyDelete
  94. Oh, nice, but not near enough Rob. Why did she put Adam Lambert on the show with him? I liked it better when she had a whole show revolving around Rob. There is still 15 minutes left. I am hoping he comes out again because they didn't really even say goodbye to him. The Nashville people are on now talking about the flood and how this woman was rescued.

    ReplyDelete
  95. If this is all it was a wasted opportunity to see and hear Rob talk. I loved what was there, don't get me wrong, but she talks over him a lot and then he just isn't on enough. I like his hair. People twittered that Kristen was there backstage and that she was flirting with Adam's drummer. Which probably meant she looked at him twice if she was there at all.

    ReplyDelete
  96. Okay, it looks like that is it. Ellen kind of blew it. She didn't let him finish saying he cut his hair for the role of Jacob in Water for Elephants and talked over the top of him and then later let him say it after five minutes of head lice conversation. She completely misunderstood his thinking comment. He was saying, I believe, that he was more nervous in these kinds of interviews than acting because there were no notes and he is expected to answer things without having a chance to think through what he is going to say. It reminds me a little of Kristen's comment on Oprah that words have weight and so she minces them. He is saying he does the opposite. He just talks spontaneously without thinking it through. She thought he was saying he had a problem being spontaneous. I think it is actually just the opposite. Then the kind of silly Pat the Pattinson game which was only really cool if you were the girl getting to pat Rob. Otherwise I would rather have heard from him. Then after the game he basically just disappeared. I'm not an Adam Lambert fan so from my perspective there was way too much of him and not enough of Rob. It isn't quite over yet. Adam is singing. Maybe Rob will at least pop his head out to say goodbye to the fans in the audience. Maybe Rob himself didn't have time for any more with WFE filming already tomorrow. Anyway, I was a little disappointed. Greedy, I know. But I wanted more Rob. He could at lesst have come back out at the end.

    ReplyDelete
  97. Crap, crap, crap, and crap I missed it. Had too run up to the College. Can he get anymore freakin' adorable? Lurve me some we-tawded (unthinking) Robert~! ;D

    ReplyDelete
  98. Shari -

I agree with what you said. He obviously has no problem being spontaneous. But, like most people, he'd like the chance to be prepared. Not that he can't intelligently answer questions without knowing what they are beforehand, but he'd prefer to ruminate over them a bit without having to shoot an answer off at the hip.

    ReplyDelete
  99. Rob's learnt how to deal with audiences fast. Nearly 2 years ago he walked onto a show in his beanie flinching at the screams and the crowd - now he's appreciating the warm welcome and regularly remembers to say how great the fans are. Two steps forward but ...

    Three steps back ...

Besotted: I agree - I'm not moved at all by all this stuff with the robes - strictly for boys - he's a man now. The robe didn't look good because he had so much gear on underneath. Won't be watching that bit again.

I like Ellen but this wasn't her best or Rob's, but haven't seen the whole thing yet.

Now I see him properly, I think they made a mistake giving Rob such a short haircut - it's nice, but I don't think it brings out the best in him and it's too short at the sides. A cut slightly shorter than the Haunted Airman style would have been better. The face is as beautiful as ever. I wonder if they will slick his hair down with gel for WFE? A lot of 30s styles were combed back with gel/pomade or had a strong side parting. If it was a tad longer they could do this style which would be VERY cute on Rob:

  100. It's not that he's unintelligent, he's use to joking around. Plus, he's a bit guarded with his thoughts. Do you blame him? It's a defense mechanism in a way, and it very much becomes a habit. Also, with a person who has fans chasing him everywhere, constantly building him up. It's a way to keep him grounded. His joking doesn't show big ego to me. It shows him fighting his ego from getting too big. He knew Kristen or Taylor was gonna say something about his chest and abs after he joked about Taylor's shirt being off. Give and take is always fun. Ellen does it well. Love her. :)

    ReplyDelete
  101. Oh gosh, are we still on the nits/lice? Just a few facts....

    -Lice live in "clean" hair.
-Lice (like many bugs today) are getting immune to the chemical products (such as RID) they use to kill them. Making ppl are reverting back to the old fashioned methods.
-Lice are more prevalent in warmer climates. There are whole schools that shut down for days (to this day) in places like Florida due to lice infestation.
-In many third world countries ppl just learn to live with them.
-Back in the day (Jacob's time). They would actually have all the boys line up in the gym of the school to get their heads shaved if there was a bad outbreak.
-Kids in school today are checked the beginning of every quarter, or should be.

I can go on and on about it, but I'm sure no one is interested. My Mother use to be one of those nurses with the long "nit pickers". LOL

    ReplyDelete
  102. Oh yea, too the Mothers on here. Put about 5 drops of tea tree oil in your kid's shampoo bottle (every bottle), and shake well. You won't have too worry about them.

    Laters Chicas :)

  103. Everytime Rob is on Ellen I don't feel like we really see him up close. The camera angles are mainly long shots of Ellen and him together so he's usually in profile. To have Rob on TV show without lots of close ups is is always a tragic waste!

Oprah got it right. I was expecting Oprah to be a screamfest and an anticlimax but it was a lovely surprise and she got the funny/serious balance right and got a lot out of the 3 of them including the close ups.

This wasn't insightful - hope the rest is better.

  104. I wonder if he did the ballet because of his co-ordination?

  105. Yeah, pretty light and fluffy stuff. Is there more?
I would LOVE to see him on The Actor's Studio. It's only a matter of time...

  106. CL's PSA:
"Ellen" is a variety show. It is not 20/20 nor 60 Minutes. She is never going to ask hard-hitting questions. And quite frankly I wouldn't want her to. Her show is about fun. She had fun with Rob. In my opinion it looks to me like Rob had fun, and the audience sure enjoyed themselves.
Rob is 24. He has years of acting ahead him. Years of interviews and talk show appearances, so just relax and be happy that we got to see him today. He was on Ellen to promote Eclipse mainly, it was nice she asked about WFE, but that was not his main purpose for being there. Could she have done things differently? Sure. But, please remember it is called "Ellen" and she will run her show the way she wants to. It is a very successful show, so clearly she knows what she is doing. It's her show, not OUR show.

...now back to regularly scheduled programming...

Rob was awesome & looked hot. FILTM!

  108. rpattzgirl: your comment at 1.10 is so true. It would be great to see him interviewed by someone where he could talk at length about himself and his work and the things that interest him.

There have been some lovely moments in all his press junket i/vs but so many interviewers ask the same old questions and so it's easy to predict what Rob's answers are going to be.

Michael Parkinson was a great interviewer but he's retired now. His i/vs were 95% about the guest and 5% about his own charisma because he was charming and direct - plus he managed to get his guests really talk about themselves at length so sometimes it was very moving and othertimes really hilarious.

Unfortunately most chat shows today seem to be more about the host - it's a trend, real interviews have died out.

Carole UK - yes and no! I never go out of my way to watch Jonathan Ross but sometimes I have caught some really hilarious moments by accident. I've said elsewhere, I think he and Rob would get on brilliantly I certainly can't see JR asking Rob the same old jaded questions he gets asked everywhere - that would be interesting, but I think Rob's too shy to go on JR.

  109. Um, did no one notice his shirt collar was all messed up - half in, half out? He's so consistently disheveled!

I wanted to reach out and straighten it for him, grab that collar and pull him in towa....sigh, you get the idea.

  110. Bravo, Rob! You're wonderful, articulate and humorous, as always and you're such a good sport. All this and hot as hell to boot! I agree with about not thinking before you speak, as I do this constantly! Baby, you are so adorable!

  111. Rob in ballet, that was cute. I think his mother put him in everything. Looks like Rob is tickled at the lst guy with his hands over his crotch when the girls was running her hands down his legs. the girls gets to kiss Rob later and it looks like she kisses him right on the mouth.

  112. The haircut is spot on--my dad's hair looked just like this (short on the sides longer on top) in pics from the 1930s.

A BIG thank you for posting these clips. A local weather advisory interrupted Ellen and I missed a chunk of the broadcast. Would have missed it completely except you darlings posted. Rob does give the fangirl a kiss on the cheek at the end that is missing from the 2nd clip here. It looked like he was sort of pleased she guessed wrong. Adorkable as always.

  113. @CL, where did your PSA comment go? I got it in my email, but don't see it on the thread?
I clicked on the associated thread in the email. Did you remove it?
If you see this, please respond because I need to clarify something with you.

  114. Ellen's broadcast just over,,, and it was a disappointment to me. Robert's actual interview was so brief and so superficial that all the build up made for a let down. Why, did they do this pat-down? I'd think that Ellen, so forward thinking and speaking about privacy and personal respect would have seen how this body touch nonsense was just another way to objectify him. The slight put downs around his comment on not being able to "think" for talk shows didn't sit well with me either. She knows he's not stupid, but she didn't work well with his comments. Eventually, we'll see a good interivew, full and thoughtful, without production restrictions and the push for promotional glitz,l but it won't be happening for awhile, certainly not until the Twilight frenzy is over.

  115. My last comment about the Ellen show. I love Ellen, DVR her show everyday. I totally loved her last show with Rob. I understand keeping it light, and Ellen does that very well and humorously without the interviews sounding fluffy. In this case, and yes it's because he's Robert F..king Pattinson, we all want to see and hear more and it's never enough, but I thought she should have given him more props, not have talked over him so much, and yes not have been so "sarky" (a new word I've added to my vocabulary). Let him FINISH, don't jump in. That's MHO. I'm watching it now on the big screen. Maybe I'll change my mind.

  117. LoL dude the third one is trying 2 protect him self he looked scared grrrr and Rob so cute

  118. What a great guest he was!!!

Note to Megan: Next time, don't bother touching the body (can't believe I just typed that!).... go for hands! you would've known straight away!!!

  119. Yep, Ellen was rushing Rob, talking over him, not near as star struck as she was in the New Moon interview with him when she grabbed him around the waist and took him out in the audience for him to greet them. It was all very anticlimactic and she totally got the "trouble thinking" comment wrong.

    HOST FAIL!!! IMO

    ReplyDelete
  120. This was the first interview on Ellen when his parents and/or family were not there, I wonder if that made a difference in the way she treated him?

    ReplyDelete
  121. I'm pretty sure we can officially say he's a boob man..LOL

    ReplyDelete
  122. Do you think it's possible that the reason some are disappointed with Rob's tv appearances is because expectations are being set so high, that they simply cannot be met and therefore, we're just setting ourselves up for disappointment? From reading some of the comments here, that is the impression I'm getting. Please don't do this to yourselves. 'Cause by doing so, you're killing the simple joy of just seeing him again. Just have fun with it.

These shows are not "talk" shows, even though they call themselves that. They are entertainment shows. Fluff. Silliness. If were looking for something of substance, then like AP said, we've got to wait for the more serious shows; Charlie Rose, Inside The Actor's Studio, 60 Minutes, Dateline. Something like that (although I think if Rob had to sit down with James Lipton, he's shit his pants. lol)

I'm not trying to talk down to anyone here, but the disappointment I'm hearing is making me kinda sad. I was expecting nothing but
5-10 minutes of fluff and that's what I got. And I'm not disappointed.

I stared at his beauty. Giggled at his charm. For 5-10 minutes. Thorougly enjoyed myself. And I expected nothing more.

    Just a thought.

  123. Sorry. Forgot to tell CL that she got it right.

    You got it right CL.

  124. Also...

If Rob had been offended with the 'feel up' game, he would have told Ellen, 'no, I'd rather not.'
He didn't. He played along. I mean, do you think she somehow 'forced' him into this?

Again, this was few minutes of fluff and silliness and he knew it.

Just sayin' and now I've said it and now I'll shut up about it.

  126. sorry 'bout the double post. still getting used to this hair trigger comp.

    ReplyDelete
  127. Okay. Not shutting up.

    1) Once an actor leaves the stage after an appearance such as this, odds are he's not coming back to wave goodbye to the audience. Sorry.

    2) He doesn't need his fans to start campaigns to get him on shows such as Saturday Night Live or Inside The Actor's Studio. He and his management will decide which shows are best for him and which he will do. James Lipton chooses his guests and once Rob builds up a bit more of a resume beyond one film apart from Twilight (Remember Me) and picks up a bit more critical acclaim, then Mr. Lipton will most likely extend an invitation.

    3) The hair.
I know that you all know this (although from some of the comments, ya gotta wonder), cutting his hair was not a personal choice on his part. It's for a role and if he'd refused, he wouldn't have gotten the role. Prepare yourselves. As this particular actor will shave his head and gain 30 lbs. if a role requires him to do it.

Are you guys aware that Robert Pattinson is actually a 'character' actor trapped inside a gorgeous movie star? What that means is, on occasion (or as often as he can), he'll bury that movie star persona so deep it'll take him months to dig it back up again, if a role so requires him to do so. Kinda like Johnny Depp?

    He's an actor for chrissake.

  128. Someone asked if the blog is wonky tonight?

Yes. It is. I just put up 2 or 3 posts (I think) on this thread and at the moment, they have disappeared.

Either that. Or I've reached my quota for words typed and the blog is telling me...

Go to hell and go away.

    I don't know.

  129. Did not care too much for the show, thought Rob's segment was a bit short. However, I am loving the new hair cut. He is looking very fine. (big grin)

Thanks to all who uploaded the show, and pics.

  130. Finally got to see the show. It wasn't as good as the last time, but it was OK, I still got to see Rob. I thought the funniest part of the game was when the 3rd guy covered his crotch, that was what Rob was laughing at.

    ReplyDelete
  131. Okay, gotta add my 2 cents here.

I usually love Rob on Ellen, but this one didn't do it for me. Hate his new haircut. Love the normal hair much better. Cedric hair, RM hair, Twilight hair, whatever....

Guess this is his Jacob look. Whaaaaaaaa..... not impressed at all. Fix his hair please...

Loved the book and the story. This is the 2nd time Reese and Rob acted together. Still looking forward to this one.

  133. Rob used to take ballet??? wow..shocking! o_0...would love to see that..hahaha...btw..this is not as fun as what i imagined it would be T_T..maybe they running out of new idea, or new question..but i'm glad just to see him smile and giggle a lot...he look shy! dont know why? or is it just me...that woman is really lucky, he can grab him..too bad she didn't recognize him though Xb

    ReplyDelete
  134. @Nik, I'm going to go out on a limb and, for a change, take issue with your comment. First of all, I don't think the majority here expect an indepth, up close and personal, interview, especially on Ellen. I don't think we have too high expectations, either, because we've already seen him on numerous talk shows and get how they roll. Yes, it's for entertainment. Some of Rob's appearances have been more entertaining than others. Why? Because the host works with Rob's responses to elicit either more from him or plays off his humor, whatever. There have been many gratifying Rob moments that have been both entertaining and enlightening. Yes, we want to see him, any which way, with or without hair (!), to hear that distinctive laugh, and maybe learn something new about him. IMA, and some others, the Ellen appearance was not the BEST, despite learning about his Ballet lessons and nits. ;(
