Well, at least she is consistent from what I remember from twilight promo~ (though, wasn't she team Jacob during NM promo?)
Though I don't get the logic: Jacob being a better choice after saying you are team Edward. But she knows it's promo and is a pro at least: and you have to give both "teams" something. It's actually silly to have an actress choose between 2 fictional characters, but she is getting better at answering silly questions!
I think for the promo she has to say somethng about team jacob, plus she has said that logically, for a normal girl, Jacob would be a better choice (she doesn't have to give up her family and she can have babies, etc). But Bella was never normal; she was serious, responsible, and ancient (born aged 35 and getting more and more middleaged each day?). However, I think the logic is flawed, due to the imprinting; Jacob also was not a wise choice because he could imprint on someone and Bella would have been left in the dust. It is really more like she imprinted on Edward.

I'm so glad that Kristen said Edward, even though she has said it plenty times before. There are a couple more interviews that she did for Australian promo and she once again said that she would choose Edward. I don't know why, it just makes me happier to know that, since Robert isn't there to represent Edward this time round. All these new interviews just makes me miss seeing and hearing Rob in interviews. It's just not the same.
Though I wish she didn't then back track in the fan event saying that Jacob was the better choice...Jacob is never the better choice!

If Rob was coming, I already made arrangement with a friend in Sydney to stay and camped most probably to see them where the Q & A studio took place. I will take my friend & family with me thru the Rob journey. Most probably they'll think I'm nuts, nevertheless, I would have had several photos/vids sent to this blog by now and grinning from ear to ear.
Never mind, there's always next time for The Pretty plus he's busy~understandable.
When did this become Edwardsessed? I know nearly everyone here is on Team Edward, but the 'no to Team Jacob' tag is a little unecessary. There are some Rob fans who are Team Jacob. Rob is not Edward. Being a fan of Rob doesn't have anything to do with what team you're on. I'm Team Jacob: that doesn't make me any less of a ROB fan. Rob himself has stated on more than one ocassion that HE is Team Jacob. And not just the time he said he wouldn't say Team Edward because it would sound big-headed. @ted I heart you. You would have to fly like an hour. If economic crisis hadn't hit badly here I would have been able to fly to LA for Robstock 2 and I would have been flying for more than 18 hours, so I can totally understand what you are talking about, he is Robert Fucking Pattinson after all.

@Dina...They were not personally critisizing her but commenting on the fact that she hates the press intrusion and doesn't cope with it. She always gets stick from the press about looking sullen all the time and I remember after the BAFTA's they moaned that Rob and Kristen had not made an effort. Who Cares!!! why should they fit into some sort of celeb mould. I am proud of them for being themselves, there is such alot of pressure on such young shoulders.

There is so much negative press lately (more than usual) for Kristen. I read what Nik had to say about that on another thread, and I have to agree with the idea that it seems to be a concerted effort to force some kind of confession or announcement from the two. There really isn't much to say about Rob because he's on set, so they make up ridiculous things about Reese (hello, her KIDS & her new boyfriend are there), stupid bird flipping tweets (c'mon, that's Kristen's gesture--and if he did that to me, I'd probably suck on the damn thing) and other shit.
They don't owe us a damn thing other than a performance. I've heard the questions paps have shouted at Rob in order to get a rise out of him; can you imagine the shit they say to her? I'm surprised there aren't any smashed cameras. Rob was really close to doing something along those lines during RM, but his bodyguard gave him some good advice like "imagine swinging and missing".
Sometimes, I really feel like crap being part of the problem. Poor Nik struggles with our conundrum of being both Robsessed and concerned fans at the same time. I understand, I do. So, in order to soothe my conscience, I go here and stay away from the gossip sites and mags. I buy the ones in which he has photoshoots and sanctioned interviews. It's not much, but it's something. I know that we love to joke around about what we'd do if we ever got close enough to touch him. I honestly believe that if I ever came upon him privately somewhere, I'd eat him up with the eyes at the back of my head, but I would leave him alone.
