I was also a little ticked off that they kept mouthing off about 9 different camera angles yet only gave us 2 for the majority of the night. The two where the idiots were making noise. I'd rather seen more of them with the fans. Not to mention pull back for a view of the dresses... you don't stand 3 feet from a lady and give her the once over! Not to mention ... give the stars a heads up about which camera to look at!!! JHC!!! I saw the sides of everyones heads last night until the Fancam and then they didn't know which camera it was! Disaster all around if you ask me!

ReplyDeleteA lifetime ago, I worked as an assistant buyer for a men's clothing chain and Rob's suit has me thinking about the trends we followed at the time. First, color- definitely a bold choice but it works for him. I remember color was only for "ethnic markets", sort of a "white men can't jump or wear anything that's not gray, black, or brown." Rob blows that theory out of the water. Second, I like the small houndstooth, again very bold choice for an entire suit. Even if you didn't know it was a Gucci, you can tell the fit is definitely custom made. Although narrow silhouettes are in, his is a bit tighter than an off the rack would be. Again, no complaints here, he looks fantastic. I love the skinny tie, I'm soooo glad they are back, I hated when wide ties were in fashion a few years ago. The choices for tie and shirt are smart- a pure white shirt would have distractedd. My only criticism is that the suit has a bit too much of a sheen for my taste- I'm not sure if it's the millions of flashes of the red carpet or the fabric itself or some of both. I'm not a fan of sharkskin and that's what shiny suits always makes me think of. sigh, I loved that job, too bad everyone was straight out of The Devil Wears Prada. Anyway, some people commented that Stephenie looks different and wondered if she's had a nose job. I think it's just that her face seems thinner. Regardless, she looks great.

ReplyDeleteHave you seen his interview on Inside the Actor's Studio? It is at least a few years old, but it is pure over the top brilliant Robin. He even left James Lipton stumped for words. The inside of his mind must be a fascinating yet disturbing place.

ReplyDeleteI wonder why he always messes around with his pants - almost every premiere there are pix of him pulling at his waist on the pants. Very titilating. I bet he is SO glad and feeling SO confident that he has SIX upcoming movies and K and T have next to nothing........how proud he must be of that accomplishment.........when K got Snow White he was not working and acted like he was upset cause she was getting all these roles but now the tables have turned. GOOD GOING ROB..........you show 'em you're the best choice. We all want to see YOU more than anyone else.
