Last year's London premiere was the only one I recall they were really "together" on, or does my memory deceive me? I will agree, though, that she is certainly into my risque outfits and very confident that she can pull them off. This one reminds me of the Snow White premiere, very unusual, at least. And, yes, I am jealous! Even 40 years ago, I wouldn't have worn that! Well, come to think of it, no one would. Have we progressed or not??!

I agree with the poster that said they rushed them through LA without as many photos - far more here. I actually quite like the jumpsuit - it's different - Ashley Greene gets a lot of flack for her prom style dresses - let's face it, it couldn't be safe had to stand out from the rest - i think its a lot more casual than LA premiere it is outside the odeon in leicester square after all!

ReplyDeleteAnd he mixes between bold colours and more conservative. He was wise to wear more conservative in London, when we see up close it's actually subtle plaid, we can see the lines and squares.
Ah yes, every inch the gentleman and adoring and wonderful man. Standing right there with her (and in their own lives) no matter the onslaught they've had to endure at the hands (keyboards) of the bitter, the jealous and the engraged. That takes some strength folks. As for her outfits...beautifully designed and she wears them like a dream (and just so ya know...Barbra Striesand wore a black see thru pant suit with her entire ass showing when she got up to accept her Oscar for Funny Girl back in '69. Anybody remember 'bout 25 years back, Cher's completely see thru little number when she picked up her Oscar too? Fortunately for them, they didn't have an internet or twitter at the ready to pass judgement on them). See thru clothing on actresses is nothing new. And in these instances, my impression was, this is bold. This is a very strong young woman essentially saying...here I am, I'll be who I am, wear what I want and say what I want. What more can you do to me? Take your best shot. If what happened to her had happened to me, I would have crumbled. Probably slunk away for awhile and hidden. Which would have been weak. But there she is, standing up, a pillar of strength. With him right by her side. At some point it's gonna have to be faced...this girl won. No matter what the press and the court of public opinion did to her (are still doing to her), they're not gonna defeat her. And I imagine this must be a pretty bitter pill for some to swallow. Ah well...

I have been looking watching and I'm feeling a little sad! Rob looks his usual gorgeous self but I'm missing the sheer joy that was ALWAYS on his face when he was with Kristen and I'm yet to see a photo of him looking at her with adoration that he has done since the beginning.

Taylor gave an interview and they asked the dreaded question about the R&K situation and hindering the movie and he shut them down quick "i dont comment about other people's personal relationships", kudos to Taylor!

For a media and public who'll take their words and actions and twist them in any way they can to fit the various agendas? If you want stars who'll put on a "show" for you with their private emotions, I don't know how to tell you this...but you got the wrong two stars. Either accept who they are or you're gonna have years of frustration following them cos they're not gonna give the media and the public that which they both want...their lives. Them. It's not gonna happen. If it were gonna happen, it would have happened during these past four years when they've been engaged in selling this film franchise. If they were those 'types' of celebrities, they'd have posed on magazine covers together, done interviews together declaring their love before the world. They'd have held hands and kissed in public, frolicked on the beach together KNOWING they were being photographed. They would have snuggled and kanoodled on red carpets. They would have SOLD it. But they didn't. Sorry 'bout that.

ReplyDeleteThats ok hon. You don't have to like a particular outfit. You're entitled to your own taste and opinion. But you didn't express them by being nasty. You didn't say she had no class, you said the outfit didn't. If that's how you feel, fair enough. My sister who adores Kristen, didn't care for the dress (didn't think it was proper seeing her panties) but loved the jump suit. I liked them both, not necessarily because I think these are the best things she's ever worn but because I thought they were bold choices. And with what she's had to deal with this year, I think it was brave of her. But that's me. Some think I jump on them because they don't like her or anything about her. Not true. I jump on the meaness, the visciousness, the catty, the juvenile and the nasty. And they can say, well that's just my opinion. Yeah, but this blog has called for civility towards him, his family, his friends and co-workers. And Kristen qualifies in more than one catagory there and some are grossly violating this. And since the mods don't step in to keep order on this playground every five minutes, we have to do it. If we want a decent community, we have to look after it. When someone takes a whack at either of them...we whack back. If not, then people are gonna start jumping ship and this place will soon turn into Perez Hilton or Ted's closed down asylum. Well, said! Thanks for saying what I wanted to say but in an approachable perhaps more appealing manner. Those were my thoughts, too. I'm probably repeating myself but all I can think of when I see these pics is Skyfall by Adele!

But you've touched on my concerns about how people like her can bring this blog down at the expense of the great ladies who come here on a regular basis and make it the BEST Rob fansite. I have great affection for many of them, some so sweet, others so witty and smart. They are the backbone of this place and when shit-stirrer's come in to vent their jealousy, hate and delusions, about Rob's choice of a girlfriend, they bring this "happy place" down to the level of those other sites that have turned into virtual sewers of spite. Robsessed has now been acknowledged by Rob, himself, and a big Robsessed sign got spotlighted at the London premiere. We're on the map and who knows who is watching and reading the comments here. God forbid, they check in on a thread where someone like Val 5 decides to vent her shit. It's our responsibility to keep the nasties from over-running the blog. Whack back, baby, and keep it our "happy place" and one we're proud of and that Rob would be too!

ReplyDeleteYou know, I really want to commend you. You obviously don't visit this site very often nor others, I'm thinking, and you haven't seen the paparazzi photos of them together. Good for you. Most folks here hate the pappz photos, yet they've been posted with one exception. So before you go on with your uninformed, shallow analysis of their relationship and whether they are or not, uninvited photos have been taken: from a private party they attended TOGETHER, the Prince concert they went to TOGETHER, a Halloween party they went to TOGETHER, (and somewhere in there was a photo of them, shockingly holding hands) and lastly the photos that NEVER should have been taken, in their own private backyard! And I'm not going to give you any satisfaction of what those stolen photos revealed, but suffice it to say that twilighsnumberone is correct. It is no mystery, only to those like yourself who for some bizarre, in my mind unfathomable, reason don't want to it to be so. It's their life, so get on with your own and don't worry about them, they appear to be doing just fine, thank you.

Yes they are shan. At the moment, with curiousity high about which direction their careers are gonna go, with what is being predicted for them, their potential, with their beauty, their youth and glamour, their fame, their superstardom, they are the most written about, the most talked about young couple in the business because they are the most interesting. And too, they have that air of mystery about them that you don't see too much in this day of full disclosure. Even with all that's been said about them, they say very little. No one can pin them down and yeah, that does keep them interesting.

I'd only object if she went to church dressed like that and even there I would be polite in my observation. The objection is to bad taste so we must not use bad taste in expressing disapproval. Expletives are ok when the two sides have access to each other. She can't fuss back and when she does, she gets into more trouble. I am so glad to be a private citizen and get to gawk at the pretties.

ReplyDeleteTrue. She's only 22, he's only 26 and I'm guessing they've got both mistakes and triumphs ahead of them as this is usually what happens to human beings engaged in life. My own opinion is that this was an uncharacteristic error in judgement on her part for whatever reasons and that she's learned a very painful her lesson. On the carpet in LA I caught a little moment from her. She was talking about having to grow up and the look on her face was like...uh...yeah. It's okay kiddo. We've all screwed up in one way or another and hopefully, grew up a bit more in learning from our mistakes. Only difference for us? We didn't have they eyes of the world upon us, rendering their sentence and carrying out their execution.

ReplyDeleteI've seen it time and again lallie where just one person can derail an entire thread. And I know some say, let it go and my head agrees. But my heart is another matter. And I just keep going back to that comment of his when he talked about his defenders on the internet. And that's what the majority of us do here, defend and champion him and those close to him. What gets me tho is that they complain that they're not allowed to express their negative opinions without someone coming back at them. Well what the hell do they expect? That they can say any hurtful thing they want and were just suppose to sit here and say...okay, whatever? Do they have no experience with human interaction? Cos that's not how it works. Nah, like you said, I suspect it's just to stir the shit pot cos I dunno, they think it's funny? Strange psychology there.
