Kristen: love the change of style in dress & i actually kind of like the shoes. one of the pictures is actually quite funny, looks like she's showing them off to the boys, lol. Taylor (omg i started to jacob): all black, yummy. i truly hope R&K can make it thru this summers events. they really do seem to have a strong & beautiful connection. i CANNOT wait until 9:50 tonight, ahh!!!

ReplyDeleteI got back from seeing BD2 just in time to see Rob emerge from his car in Berlin...it's been a very good day! BD2 exceeded all my expectaions...I laughed, sighed, drooled, gasped & wept all in a span of < 2 hours. What a terrifc job Bill Condon did with bringing the saga to its completion. KUDOS to all involved....& a very big Thanks to Catherine Hardwicke for casting Rob as Edward...what a stroke of genius on her part. I am so looking forward to following whatever path his career takes...is it legal/moral for a nearly 60 year old woman to be so smitten with a lad younger than her own boys???

ReplyDeleteI'm really loving this suit and as it was mentioned earlier... the button fly!!!! It is perfectly tailored, but of course Rob is built for suits. I like the color and texture. Of course, I'm still OWNED by the green suit at the LA premiere, but this one is striking. I think the light color makes his eyes so pale and gorgeous! I'm really, really going to miss suit Rob...until his next premiere :)

This movie is outstanding!!!!! A perfect ending to a beautiful love story.
The imagination and ingenuity you brought to the big screen is amazing. The audience reaction was heartwarming and thrilling.It has been many years since I have heard people clapping, crying and loud cheering when the "bad guy" get's his!!! (sorry Jane & Aro)
Rob & Kristen & Peter & all the Cullens & Taylor & all the wolf pack & all the new vampire covens...........being the good guys and getting loud cheers for all the good they do against evil...........what a thrill to hear and feel the emotions of everyone watching.............. Also looks like the box office reflecks how we all feel.
I went to the premier movie showing and came home and even with "jet lag" I attended the "Twilight Midnight Marathon."
I went to the LA "BD2" premier. Hoping to just get a glimpse of these wonderful actors and all involved with this "Twilight Saga." Had one hope, two checks off my "bucket list," that I might be able to get a picture with Robert and slip him a "St.Christopher" medal to keep him safe in all he & Kristen's travels.
Through the grace of God. I got both. Thanks for everything.

ReplyDeleteACK! I can't open any of these pictures bigger and I want to see them bigger! LOL I wonder if they get to keep the suits/dresses or if they are on loan from the designers. I know Kristen has said she doesn't wear them twice but I would lovelovelove to see them together in the gold gown from today and the green suit from LA. I didn't notice the button fly like SOME people did ;) but I think it is a great idea and he should consider it more often to save himself future Ellen episodes.

ReplyDeleteIf it is, then this 62 year old is right there with you. Saw the Marathon yesterday, and went back again today to see BD2 again. I was more emotional today. I do NOT know what he does to me , but he sure does do it to me !!!!!!!! Loved his "daddy-ness" tender sides, loved the leader-sides of Edward in this movies- definitely NOT the hight school Edward anymore-he led the Cullen clan ; and loved, loved, loved ,LOVED the sensual, sexual sex scene _ OMG!!!!!!!!!! Now, i only wish the best for Rob's future with all his upcoming movies and hope many more fans and critics can appreciate his talents, personality, humbleness, and humor.

I wish them and the entire cast nothing but the best of luck and love in life and whatever they may choose to do after this. The prediction is between 130m and 150m but this being the last one, I know more people will want to see it. Keeping my fingers crossed.

ReplyDeleteJane3, all I can say, everything you think it would be and more. Not just his good looks...........his smile....his appeal and the time he takes with his fan's. It is more than anyone else I saw. Really, not just because I am a fan. After the red/black carpet emptied and there were still fans in the area's. Everyone(cast) had left to go see the movie..............Rob & Kristen went back to sign more autograph's for fan's who were still waiting. They are wonderful!!!!!!

ReplyDeleteI noticed a change too but being an avid people watcher (or nosey depending on who you ask!) I think it had more to do with circumstances. In LA it was the first so there are more nerves and it seemed to be the more chaotic. Once they got out of the States it seemed like they felt less "examined" and could be more natural. Plus I have noticed over the years that Kristen tends to lean on Rob for support and he watches out for her well being (because he is just that awesome!) and this last leg has to be exhausting as well as emotional. What I thought was cute was the way they always gravitated to each other given the choice. Two press conferences they were assigned seats with Taylor between them and I swear they were writing notes to each other! LOL I saw one clip where they leaned behind Taylor to talk and the look on his face was priceless "See what I have to put up with?!" Then at the Madrid talk show it looked like Kristen was about to sit at the end chair and Rob came up behind her and touched her back like "no...over here". I have loved watching all these appearances and I don't know what I will do with myself now...maybe get some work done ;)

ReplyDeleteThanks rocknmovie, Rob is handy with the camera's. I was in a handicapped area, as a helper with my friend. So some ot the fan's got frustrated with there camera's or Iphones and up walks "MacGyver Rob" and not only does he adjust the phone, but he holds it and centers the subjects in the perfect light.
ReplyDeleteI knew Rob was supposed to go into an area to film a movie where ones safety might be questioned. I just wanted to give him something of my faith that would keep him safe.
There is a really cute picture of Rob as he is leaving with Kristen on Imagebarn..his suit coat undone, his shirt untucked, his tie loosened and a big smile on his face.

ReplyDeleteThe mods are the moderators of the blog. When Tink or Kate comment, if you notice, their avi has a little sort of sticker on it that says "Mod". Their email address is over on the right side of the page above Rob's calendar (which is now almost empty *sobs a little*). In the past, they've posted descriptions of fan encounters with Rob as well as fan pictures with Rob.
Ohhhh thanks EdwardsNana for your kind comment. We of course Down Under are very excited about Rob coming here to film The Rover. And you couldn't be more right about what it is that attracts us to Rob and makes us his devoted fans. He is all that and more.

He would dump an entire box of cereal into a mixing bowl and eat it at one sitting. My Mom used to get so mad at him!!!) He'll have those pictures where you want them in approximately fifteen seconds.

ReplyDeleteWhenever I get brave enough to tell someone I know and trust, a bit about my fan addiction to Rob, they immediately think "cougar" and all that might mean. Doesn't matter how much I try to tell them that NO, it's not like that. They don't get it. I had a very memorable and intense dream of Rob, the first, and all I did was ask if I could hold his hand...I felt the warmth of his hand on my mine, so much that it woke me up. I admire his beauty and every other part of him, but all I would ever wish is to have a conversation with him, to hug him hard, thank him, and let him know how much I will support him at every turn, for every choice he makes...personally and professionally.
ReplyDeleteSo glad that everything worked out so well for you, especially since it wasn't an easy road for you to get there. Wonderful that you got to see Rob. He is a one in a million guy. Glad for the St.Christopher medal, too. I still get very nervous about this Iraq shoot. Just wish they could find someplace safer. I saw the 10:00 show last night too and it was a terrific way to end the series. I'm sure that you brought him good "karma" and his future will continue to be bright.

ReplyDeleteSo glad you had the experience. I had my bucket list moment at the WFE Premier. Rob was so polite and accomodating to the fans. I was fortunate enough to see hiim up close and he signed my poster. It was the first time I had ever gone to view a red carpet event. I had the best time and met a few of the ladies from this site. Thanks for representing the seniors.Glad you returned home safely.
