I agree that he didn't look that great at Comic Con, but you have to remember he just finished (or was just finishing, I can't remember) the nightmare shoot that was Remember Me. He hadn't gotten any real rest from the fangirl screaming during filming before he had to deal with the fangirl screaming of Comic Con. He was probably pretty run down. Kristin looked like crap too, & not just because the poor thing was still in the Joan Jett hair (which by the way, Joan Jett shouldn't wear either), but she looked really tired from filming. Last year they weren't doing back to back filming or dealing with the total insanity that their lives have become.
hahah, Robert looks blind in the first shot....lol And chris weitz looks like a ghost in the background in the other one. him and kristen look like the "before" side and Ashley and Taylor look like the "after" side. lol
He's so cute though, even when mijo needs a little sleep and some cucumbers on his eyelids to help with puffiness.
The third to the last picture is a hoot, looking at the contrast between Kristen and Ashley. Ashley's all made up and smiley, and Kristen has that hair and the bad posture and crossed arms. Too funny.

Ha ha Tempt, actually the rug burn is on the bone at the back of my neck and butt as well as the knees. The tail got in the way a bit but he used it as a whip to spur him on! Hanging out for the "green" - that means I get another turn right?

Yep I'm definitely looking forward to reading a REAL book again (BH) instead of going bug-eyed over hard-core ff on the computer screen. Did I ever tell you how I got onto ff in the first place? It was when I started Robsessing and read and watched every interview with Rob that I could lay my hands on. In one interview, he said that he was reading Twilight fanfic and said that "some of it is really good, and hard core". So I went and googled it and of course only went for the M rated. At least it cured me of re-reading the Twilight books over and over. But yes, a real book again...

ReplyDeleteHi - I am with you believe me - I have just re-watched several of Rob's early interviews and he is so not into all this OTT obsessive fan stuff - it is scary for him. He is as you say a shy, genuine, open, funny, awkward, goofy and endearingly honest guy. He has deep set anxieties about his own inadequacies even though for us him just being himself is what we all love. I have definitely given myself over to my Rob fantasies but he brings to each of us something individual that we relate to and that is what makes us love him so much. So yes hot4pattz - Rob does deserve our respect, our admiration and our love. The intense scrutiny and hard core sexualisation I'm sure he could do without. But hey - to each their own.
