*New* "Remember Me" Still From EW

From EW.com :
Summit Entertainment has announced that the trailer for The Twilight Saga: Eclipse will debut in front of the studio’s Robert Pattinson film Remember Me in theaters March 12. Sure, on one hand it could be perceived as a cheap way to lure bodies into the seats. On the other, if you’d pay money just to see the Eclipse trailer, chances are you were already going to see Remember Me. Right? Poll!

If you want to vote in the poll you can do so here. I don't need to tell you what I voted, do I??

  1. stupid poll,of course I was always going to see it!!!

  2. Lets face it, if the trailer was going to be aired before the worst film in history we'd all pay to see it !

  3. i would gladly sit through 3 hours of weather forecasts just to see any trailer with Rob in, and who is not gonna see this movie

  4. Ditto!!!! Trailer-appetizer, RM-main course, seeing Rob anywhere-best dessert, always!!!

    @annie
    Luv your luscious lips avi!!!

  5. I`ll see Remember Me or any else movie of Robert Pattinson, with or without of any trailer of Twilight Saga.

    Love you Rob!!!

  6. A Rob feast! Seeing RM was a given. The "Eclipse" teaser is just an added treat!

  7. Think yourselves lucky... in England RM isn't in cinemas until April 2nd. I'm not saying that the twilights were bad films but as usual in book adaps there is always something missing.... ie half the plot! Rob acted in things before and it's a given he will after "the sagas" too. I'm worried about eclipse as it's my fav of all the books. BTW I would watch paint dry ALL day if I saw Rob at the end of it!

  8. I was absolutely going to see RM before hearing about the trailer. Now I just get a few extra minutes of Rob. There is nothing bad in that!

  13. my computer was being a beyotch and quadriple posted. sorry guys!

  14. Have you all read the script? I am trying my best not to ask for someone to send it LOL. I did read the spoilers and have got the story from that. Jaw-dropping or what!! It made me want to see it more than before.

  15. This is actually a BRILLIANT marketing ploy on the part of Summit because this now pretty much insures a big opening. You have to bet that there are some fans out there who are not exclusively Rob fans, but rather Twilight fans and might not have gone to see this at all as they only want to see Rob as Edward and could give a hang about his other films. But none of them will be able to resist seeing the entire Eclipse trailer. So...they'll have both the Rob AND the Twi fans in those seats on opening weekend.

    Brillinat move Summit!

  16. Uh...BRILLIANT move Summit!

Sorry. Was typing in the early morning light without my glasses.

  17. Skorpia: please don't wipe your hand on your seat!

Dessert: I'm right with you, April seems a long way away...

Nikola6: people get paid for thinking this up? So THAT's where all the money goes!

  18. Lemonless: enjoyed your little Rob fantasy last night, stayed up till the early hours but didn't get to read the end..... was there and end? LOL

    ReplyDelete
  19. OH i hope i got the right person. There was alot going on

    ReplyDelete
  20. Hi, Dessert, yes it was me. Had to log off about half one in the morning, so (just like RL) things came to an abrupt halt.

I hoping that if we behave ourselves really well for a while, then Gozde will let us out to play again ;-*

    ReplyDelete
  21. Lemonless: U on UK time too? I know I have strayed from the plot abit here but I'm new and I recognised your name.
Not sure how to start a new thred to ask how everyone how they came across amazing Rob and got so ROBsessed. It was HP for me, so I've been watching him on and off since then.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Yep, what Annie said. Silly little polls...

    ReplyDelete
  23. Hi Dessert, yes I'm UK too.

Was HP obsessed for a long time too, though I was a latecomer. Thought Cedric was cute in GoF and spent most of the movie watching him, but didn't think anything more about him, then.

My writing friend was majorly into the Twilight saga, and wouldn't lend it to me till after the film came out because she was scared I'd pour scorn on it. Did she not know me at all?

So I saw the film with her for my birthday (she allowed me that), and I still wasn't hooked, although my interest was definitely aroused. So I begged the books off my friend and read them like they were going out of fashion.

No, it was when I did an internet search, and came across all those endearing interviews that I fell big time,so I assert for the record that it's Rob I love, with all his quirkiness and humour and (let's face it) beauty. Even with him being half my age.

I want this young man to have a stellar career, so that I can indulge my love of watching him for a very long time.

Sorry for the long post, it's the first time I've been able to say it: I've a RL reputation to keep!

  24. What I don't like about this, is that it seems to imply that if RM succeeded it would be because of the Eclipse trailer, which we all know is not true.

They aired the NM trailer before Bandslam, and how did that work out?

A trailer is not going to make or break a movie. Plus anyone who would pay 10 dollars just to see a one minute, one minute and a half trailer is an idiot especially since the trailer will be most probably be online by then.

So while I like the fact that I'll be getting more Robert through an Eclipse trailer, I think it would have been better if Summit didn't do this. Because there are some idiots who will be in denial and waiting for a moment to pounce and say that the only reason RM succeeded was because of the trailer, which is stupid in and of itself. But you know that there will be peopl who say that.

I really hope that it is true that Summit will release the trailer days before RM opens, so that those who don't like Robert, or don't like seeing Robert with any other actress aside from Kristen *rolls eyes*, will not have any ammunition to bash Robert.

And in the end the movie will succeed or fail based on it's own merits...so I think this EW poll is a joke, but I'm glad the "I was always going to see it" option is winning by a landslide.

  25. My story is long too. Is it ok to spill? At least we have THAT in common (apart from loving Rob that is) he's 17 years younger than me!

Nothing wrong with a toy boy messing with your head, a hot sexy English one at that.

    ReplyDelete
  26. RM 1st, Twilight saga 2nd. I prefer Robert to be alive and kicking.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Do you mean boy-toy Dessert?..and go for it and spill it pls. :)

    ReplyDelete
  28. Dessert(first) and Kemberley: Toy boy is right. But hey, he'd need to know who he's messing with!

    ReplyDelete
  29. Kemberly: in England an older woman with a younger man is called her toy boy

I will spil but I have to work out what to say so... stay with me, it may take some time

    ReplyDelete
  30. DM: You know the way Amazon tailors the items you see according to the last things you browsed? I think the marketing moguls and the press pack do just the same thing: 'Here, you'll like this, because you looked at that'.

Heaven forbid that a person living in the free world should be able to decide for themselves what they want to watch!

    ReplyDelete
  31. OH I see..well I call all young men boy-toys..hehehe..and I really need to stop getting on here when I'm on pain-meds..whew~!

    ReplyDelete
  32. hey girls what is the toy-boy thing?

    ReplyDelete
  33. Ready? Then I'll begin...
I was a big HP book fan, loved and read them all. Films were so so. Then GoF... To quote JKR "Cedric Diggory was an extremely handsome boy of about seventeen." I spent more time looking at him than HP and the extras on the 2 disc DVD shows what a fun guy he realy is. Rob just goes with it and he just don't care (I love that about him.)

I watched him in The Haunted Airman and it scared we witless, I hate spiders! The Bad Mothers Handbook he was so dorky that I didn't give him much thought.

Now understand that at the time I was blisfuly happily married so I had no thoughts about Rob other than he was cute and a good actor.
I didn't GOOGLE him at all!

(sorry I said it would be long didn't I!)

    Fast forward to last November.....
Long story short My Hubby walked out on me. My world ended!!!

Feeling sorry for myself I started reading to take my mind of how shit my life was. I got the first three Twilights in a sale. Remembered seeing the film so thought I'd give them ago. WOW it blew me away. Had to have Breaking Dawn - desparately! ( spent more money on that than the others but I was HOOKED) Read them all within a week.

Saw Twilight on TV and thought Edward was a looker, in the credits I recognised the name ROBERT PATTINSON (wasn't he in HP?)
    WOW he's got better looking.

    ***HE WAS GOOGLED***
    ***HE WAS YOU TUBED***
    ***I WAS HOOKED ON RP***

I must have been at the last showing of New Moon before it disapeared from the cinema (THEW!!)
I think I would have burst if I had to wait for the DVD.
I think the films don't do the books justice but thats always the way.

I have not seen The Summer House Or Little ashes -YET.

Fast forward to a few days ago when I found ROBsessed. The Rome photo shoot blew me away! I know to some they are old (2008)but to me they were shinny new pics of ROB. His eyes draw you in....

I was in stitches last night reading your blogs about the PAPER ROB. I haven't laughed like that for what seams forever and I thank you for that. The no holds bared blog made sleeping difficult but at least I wasn't awake dweling on the past!

I now have a very Sexy ROB wallpaper on my laptop, again thanks for that. My poor heart that was ripped out of me a stomped on is now back in place and with a little ROB MAGIC and you all making me laugh I think I CAN get through this.

I am soooo looking forward to RM he's so handsome it hurts to look. I am getting a group together for a girls night out (tissues at the ready) Thus far I have avoided the script but I read the spoilers, sorry What can I say I'm week and feeble when it comes to Rob.

There we have it, thats why I'm here, thanks for reading - I do waffle somewhat!

  43. Lemonless - I too read your "fantasy" last night about Rob. OMG was all I can say! Hope to read more of your "boy toy" accounts LOL.
Dessert First - I totally feel for you. My hubby died 2 yrs ago & I am so into Rob that my grown kids just look at me strange! My bedroom is covered with Edward's posters, etc. But I've even got one up on all of you -- I am 60 -- 33 yrs older.
I am so happy to see I am not the only "older" woman googling him. I just want him to be happy (with Kristen) & as an actor. He is good! Beyond "good". Wonderful!
Ok thanks for letting me vent as well.
    Love to all you "ROBsessed"!!!

  54. @ Lemonless & Dessert First, A few months ago I asked people to tell their stories of how they became Robsessed. Several were kind enough to respond. Virtually all are older than Rob and the common factor was that they fell for our darling, delicious, dorky, silly, sincere Rob after hearing him in the plethora of interviews he has given. I felt so relieved, I was not alone, but in good company. He is VERY special. To quote a recent commenter (and you know who you are): "CH did not discover Rob. God sent him." I can't stop thinking about that, though I laughed when I read it.

    ReplyDelete
  55. @VampLovingNana,
You are definitely not alone. I heart you :)

    ReplyDelete
  56. Ahhh Lallieb - thank you from the bottom of my heart! I'm hoping you mean I am not alone in being the only "older" woman whose heart goes pitter-patter. I bought Details today. OMG is all I can say. But I must say I have more Details pics on my puter than in that mag. I should rename my poor puter "Vamp City". LOL!
