The Runaways Bombed at the box office,it did worst than RM, i guess the people on the gossip sites who said it will do better than RM was wrong. i guess what they are saying on the imbd boards and other maybe true, there maybe a Robsten curse. i hope Belami does better.
to Rob Logic - the runaways is looking pretty good for a limited release, it was in 244 theaters. There is no reason to compare it to RM other than because it's Rob and Kris. One is a pg13 drama and the other a rated R rock biopic.
to cabingurl - I bought the target and walmart exclusive editions just to get all the extras
@Janna, you are so right... for a Biopic that's R rating and a PG13 Drama with the ending that it has for RM... I personally don't think any of these movies have bombed... Since neither RP nor KS have confirmed anything... how can it be a curse. The ppl that are saying that just don't like them in my opining... both of these movies open in smaller houses that other movies... Jennifer A. and Butler's movie didn't open with that of an impressive openning either and they were all over the world and tv more than KS/RP/DF... if you look back at their other movies ... they are not 100mil openings. People seems to want... some stupid, 3D... bang, bang shoot em, silly comedies or scary movies, ppl don't seems to be into good dramatic movies anymore... and @Rob Logic.. don't go read into what mean ppl are saying.
End of Rant and back to regular schedule program... ROBsessed.
ITA Kate!
ReplyDeleteNo one puts Robward on the cutting room floor!
Who was that riding the motocyle that crashed? Was that Edward?
ReplyDeleteWhat DVD were these on? My copy has no deleted scenes and I am mad!
ReplyDeleteI was wondering about that motorcycle scene too...
ReplyDeleteOops spelled motorcyle wrong jejejeje....thinking about ROB makes my brain not function properly :)

@RPG--maybe not the cutting room floor--but-another floor?? :)
ReplyDeleteReally like "driving home from the party" i think it adds a lot to the break up scene.
ReplyDeleteYeah my DVD didn't have the deleted/extended scenes either, and I bought the ultimate fan version from WalMart.

The Runaways is in very limited release right now!
ReplyDeleteI live in a HUGE city of 1.2 million people -- we are not getting The Runaways until its wide release on April 9th!
So, Remember Me, which is a completely different type of movie, and opened in wide release, shouldn't be compared with The Runaways.
I think The Runaways will do very well, especially once it opens in wide release April 9.
And, back to the topic at hand:
It's disappointing that most DVD versions of New Moon are missing the deleted/extended scenes!
I don't think there's ANY Canadian DVD release that has them, which is VERY disappointing.

Sorry for the multiple posts. Blogger was acting really oddly -- it wouldn't let me log in with google, so I had to use my LJ account instead.
