Just looking at these pix you can see how he has really transformed himself for this role--those expressions are just not our Rob at all--
ReplyDeleteI love top-hat Rob, Rob with cane and leather gloves (!), etc. but am I the only one who is a little nervous/sad? Because Georges is just a bad, bad guy, right--amoral, etc.? He will be beautiful but it will break my heart a little to watch...

Looks like Kristen Scott Thomas is playing the role of Rachel, the courtesan from Folies-Bergere....I just finished reading Part 1 of the book and so far there were multiple steamy sex scenes between George and Rachel & George and Clotilde (I think Christina Ricci is playing Clotilde).....I also liked the one sensual morning that George spends with Madame Forestier(Uma Thurman i guess)...I could picture the scene being shot so clearly in my head.....Can't wait for the movie.....Love it!!!!

Had to come back and look again. So very yummy. But that last picture makes him look extremely young. Baby cheeks. What a darling. He's good, really, really good at this.
