Robert Pattinson Exclusive Video Interview from Collider

Robert Pattinson Exclusive Video Interview REMEMBER ME

by Steve 'Frosty' Weintraub

Last week I got to interview Robert Pattinson for his new movie Remember Me. Since he’s answered every possible question regarding the Twilight franchise and his other upcoming projects, what I decided to do was ask the people who follow me on Twitter to supply me with questions. While I knew I’d get a few things to ask…I was not prepared for the amount of emails and tweets that would be sent my way. I was blown away.

Since so many of you asked about certain things like would he do a commentary on the Remember Me DVD and what was up with his music, I didn’t single out any one person when I asked the questions. Just know I read every single email and tweet you sent in. Saying that, I mentioned who provided me with the first question, and we also talked about what he’d like to do if he had a free day in New York City and will he ever get into social networking. If you’re a fan of Robert Pattinson, I’m confident you’ll like this interview as I made sure to ask a few things that haven’t previously been asked.

Source and thank to Dana for the tip!

I believe this was the interview where I asked the interviewer on Twitter to ask Rob "Do you Remember Me?" - oh, I make myself laugh!

  4. Kudos to interviewer, for putting some original questions out (see my comment on JF interview). Unfortunately was too short a time and once again, note to Rob: Get those arms and fingers under control. I'm actually thinking this is a futile request and maybe that's one reason I/we love you!

    @rapattz: Update on Nik??

  5. Wow! What a GREAT interview! So good to hear his answers to NEW questions, and questions we've wanted answers to. Wish it was longer! He's so gracious. THANKS ROB, THANKS Collider!

  6. I guess he learned that he can fall in love for real??? He doesn't have to grow up anymore to really experience what he thought he was just faking??? Wish this interview was longer as these were some very interesting questions and he seemed very prepared to answer them!

  16. @Angie, don't think he can do it ALL. Focusing on acting and wouldn't want to pressure him to do something else to please us. He's got way more than enough on his plate. Despite his musical ability, he's in another direction now.

    ReplyDelete
  17. @lallieb - just being greedy, but I will be very happy with whatever he chooses to give us ;)

    ReplyDelete
  18. @Rpattz, can't imagine she would lurk without having something to say on any recent thread. Hope she's OK, too.

    ReplyDelete
  19. @Angie, yuh, we're all greedy. Wanting to HEAR more of whatever he has to say in anyway, at anytime, anywhere.

P.S. If you want to describe that smell again, I wouldn't mind.

  20. we are you?? i just went to rr and no one was there? LOL i'm lost--what's new

  21. Very good interview; perhaps other interviewers would do well to get questions from fans as many of the interviewer questions we have seen over the year are not very original.

And I actually emailed a question exactly the same as the first one, but my name is not Nancy! Maybe I wasn't so original (or at least not quite as unique as I thought!)either!

  22. I can watch the videos but they start and stop and start and stop to the point that it is difficult to follow the conversations. This seemed to be a nice interview with good questions. I'm glad to hear he might have a little time off at the end of the year and if he does he may write some music. I would love that. I love his singing and playing no matter whether it is guitar or piano. He is very down to earth talking about not being able to keep two careers going, one in film and one in music. I think he is wise to actually focus on one at a time.

  23. lallieb - my pleasure! although it is really hard to describe specifically, it was a sweet, manly smell, defintely not a cologne, but probaly from a body wash, but it wasn't a soapy smell...it was obvious that the scent was coming from him when he walked up and then the it was gone when he walked away
    :)

  24. LOL well Rob some of us don't like to live in reality we're happy in our Robsessed Fantasy lands LOL

    ReplyDelete
  25. Angie!!!!! You did? You smelled Robert? That's how close you got to 'im? ohhhhhhHHHHlOL! at my own jealousy! What do you think he was wearin' as cologne or was it just his natural clean scent after he showered? his body wash? dept. store high end or just plain ole grocery store fare? Please my inquiring mind has to know!

    ReplyDelete
  26. Someday we'll get some great music from him.
LOL from the other thread. He can read 'bedtime stories', then sing us lullabies. Oh yeah. :)))

    ReplyDelete
  27. And we can snuggle up and smell him.

    ReplyDelete
  28. And say we're afraid of monsters, and he'll tell us he'll keep us safe.

    ReplyDelete
  29. lmjabara - yes, we were that close! it was not a cologne. Had to be a body wash, I think. He was like nothing I've smelled before. Rather delicious!
    :)

    ReplyDelete
  30. And kiss the top of our heads.
    Yeah, definitely regressing.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Body wash.
We'll lie in our beds with our teddies and he'll tuck us in and hold us--to keep us safe--and we'll be in scent heaven.

    ReplyDelete
  32. We'll close our eyes, try to sleep.
We'll open them coyly glancing into his eyes, to make sure he's still there.

    ReplyDelete
  33. @ wens - I know, right? it would be a top seller!!!

  34. @Angie smelled the pretty! no he can't be more adorable...what a sweet, sweet love...god I had a dream the other night don't remember which night, that he came over, he brought Taylor with him, and Peter and Jennie and I baked them all blueberry muffins! and then I showed them all the new scent from Bath and Body Works the Vanilla and Sandlewood room spray?

Well, Jennie loved it and wanted Peter to wear it from now on...and I remember she looked at me and was giggling alot because they had this secret stuff going on and she wanted to know if she could buy Peter some and spray it on 'im as cologne! LOL! Taylor was cracking up and telling her 'Nooooo! it's not cologne Jen it's room spray! You can't be sprayin' 'im with every good scent you find!' apparently this is a running joke with them...at least in my dream-verse...!

then Robert started baking in my kitchen! He was sitting at my marble counter top drinking a dinner scotch or something and then he had on my apron, and was beating egg whites and drinking his 10 yr. old scotch while he cooked...and he had his full on beard! Just like my avi... Oooooo talk about sweet torture!

i don't even know what he was baking/making at the stove top...I had this really ornate kitchen too! like in Good Housekeeping.

he was using a copper pot and a really beautiful whisk and he kept pouring me more scotch! He had on that ring he had in the Vanity Fair shoot? the one you can see when he's reclining against the dressing mirror?

I was getting toasted! But it was worth it...he kept looking at me and pouring my glass full as I got drunker he kept grinning at me! and the weird thing was we werent' even 'together' per se...he was just wanting to see how I handled my alcohol!
The doorbell kept ringing and more and more people kept coming in...pretty soon all the twilight cast was there and all the guys had on those holiday sweaters...like from lands end or a really high end dept store...*giggling alot here*

It was like it was Christmas or New Years...and Rob just kept whisking those egg whites! I had no idea what he was making but he seemed to know and kept grinning at me and pouring my whiskey and whisking...and Taylor and Kellan were playing some sort of boardgame next to the fire place and teased Rob to play bartender and fix them another drink! (banging on the counter all manned out)then someone brought in the billiards table! The room just kept getting bigger and bigger to accomodate all the people showing up...oH! here's a funny bit.

Catherine Hardwicke showed up with Stephanie Meyer and they had brought the pop! Just bags and bags of it! LOL! Pop! And when I offered to go out to the cars to bring it in, the wolf pack showed up to do the heavy lifting! LOL! I woke up that morning with the weirdest just woke up feeling I have ever experienced....this felt sooooo real and so natural!

ooopps never mind I read your post about what he smelled like. Jeeez I wish I could smell the pretty next time.

  36. Uh, he said the thought he had a few months off at the end of the year, wasn't everyone (including Rob) saying that BD would begin filming in November? That wouldn't give him a few months off, did it get pushed back?

    ReplyDelete
  37. @lmjabara - what a great strange dream! thanks for sharing!
    :)

  38. Jesse--come on,,he'd be just as afraid of the monsters as all of us, if not moreso.

    ReplyDelete
  39. marna-= I guess until they figure out what they are doing, tis hanging in the air, just like Unbound Captives.

    ReplyDelete
  40. I'm finding this whole BD thing very strange, nothings been confirmed about any of it. I wonder if they're waiting to see how Eclipse & the NM dvd do? Their actors are getting older & older, how long can they play 17? Not to mention that I think BD gets a priority over any other movie the actors might want to do, not moving ahead with it leaves them in limbo.

If he's afraid of the monsters we'll tuck him and sing him lullabies, etc....
    It'll all be good.
