This is worse than Christmas. When was a child I always found it painful that my presents were on display but I could not see what was inside of the pretty package. I would sneak down at night and open them and rewrap them. I could never handle the wait. As an adult I don't open my presents anymore but the wait is still hard.
Ohh I hate this marketing stuff... it's to damn short. Why are they doing this to us? Why can't they just release the whole trailer already?!!! I mean they release the teaser to the teaser? WTH??!! June or better said July is just to far away:(

@Audrey... What do you think of Bella kissing Jacob? I find it normal in the course of the story... Edward is not better than Jacob here. They are both fighting for the same girl and none of them said that they would fight fair!! Jacob is great in the book, he plays with his own "guns" and is quite good at it... It this book that made me become Team Jacob... I'm only in the book! Nothing to do with the guys that play the parts... Taylor is a fantastic Jacob and a cute kid. Rob is Rob... LOL...
Tired of Taylor without his shirt, otherwise a cool 10 seconds. I was a b it iritated that my local television station said they would have the whole trailer tomorrow morning. What's with that? I thought the trailer was going to be "opened" at Remember me on Friday.
Is there rumor of Peter Jackson for Breaking Dawn? That would be awesome... If he is the director all he has to do is mix Lord of Rings with The Lovely Bones and he's got the spirit of the last book that goes from a love story to pure fantaisy... He would be just great!
But in this clip it looks like she just can't wait to kiss him (and she def. does not look like she is crazy for fear that he's going to kill himself in a fight!).
I think that the kisses Bella and Jacob are really good for the story. And certainly Taylor make an excellent Jacob. Edward and Jacob are fighting for Bella and each other use all their possibilities to be with her, I love this triangle. For me, Eclipse, is my favorite book with Twilight. I love too Beaking Down but it´a a little boring at the final for me.

I agree ladies. Way too much dog in this - somebody call the dog catcher! @sissi Yeah, the real Rob is sooo much sexier than Edward. I get a bit annoyed by E's controlling stuff sometimes. Breaking Dawn was one of the silliest books I've read - seriously some of the plot had me LMAO. Can't wait to see how they manage some of that stuff onscreen. Aagh - who gives a flying f**k about the plot anyways? I'll be distracted by the beauty - again...
Now that I can breath again.... I had hoped and prayed to the Twilight gods that Bellas wig would look better in the movie from what we've seen in print....and it DOES NOT...
All the $$$ and Summit could not do better than that? It changes her whole look... Wow...
I love Kristen but could kick her ass for cutting her hair so dramatically for TR-twilight is what put her on the map so to speak, I would think her contract would have prevented such a drastic change... Why not wear a wig for TR?
Regarding the wig (which I also don't like so much, so don't get me wrong): Maybe they (Summit, etc.) don't mind Bellas different look to portray that she is still changing in comparison to the Cullens, who don't change at all (personally I think, Robward is looking more handsome and sexy with every TW movie, but thats probably only me).
like the colour palette, and the definition - as I thought it would be with David. Now I'm really wondering what Summit is doing about the editing, because when they say 'story' we all know what that means...(see Allen's comments about RM)
Hi Pet73! Could be, but Eclipse is supposed to pick only a few short months after New Moon so she wouldn't change that much! I mean obviously it still looks like Bella, but her face shape looks different which could be due to the shape of the wig, placement or part... Not a fan..
I think the reason her face shape looks different is because she is still growing. If you look at Bella in Twi vs. Bella in NM, she looks older and her face has changed. To me it looks like she outgrew her baby fat or something. Her face is slimmer and I don't think it has to do with the wig, which I admit is not that great. Anyway, can't wait for the Eclipse trailer before Remember Me.
Unfortunately girls, there is no Bella and Edward without Bella and Jacob..... If so, it would be another book, another boring love story :o))) My favourite book of the saga...
oh. and about the wig.. it seems a little different in the meadow , but atbed no.. during the bed scene it looks more natural.. let's not get all crazy about that.. this movie will be awesome anyway!!!
I remember growing up in Holland my mom use to grab me and forced me to drink that horrible tasting medicine (Yuck) and i would spit the shit out,sometimes on her or the floor (Yea i was a bitch back then to) ......now its happening all over again,and this taylor kid is the bad medicine,everywhere i go summit is holding me down and forcing this kid down my throat,iam not hating on the kid,iam just angry that i cant have any edward moments without seeing his face.........i guess summit did not learn their lesson from NM,if they keep giving out the+bad+medicine+folks+are+going+to+keep+spitting+it+out....they+are+pimping+him+out+to+much,and+the+weird+thing+about+it+is,he+seems+to+be+enjoying+it.+ there+is+more+to+sex+appeal+than+abs,+like+personality,charisma,charm,this+kid+have+none,he+is+like+a+robot+built+by+summit.

I'm not liking the wig either, but I will stomach and reserve judgement until I see the entire flick. I hope there is more Rob in the full trailer tomorrow, but my gut is telling me that it will lean more towards the action element (hence newborns & werewolves) and love triangle in an effort to garner new audiences. Summit is banking on the legions of lovers of the books. They want to see if they can get more repeat boyfriends of fans and people who may be on the fence about seeing it in general.
I am thinking the second trailer and subsequent clips and tv spots will delve more into the Bella/Edward engagement and overriding love.
But hey that's my opinion. What do I know? Hahahaha Hope nic6 gets moved and interwebbed soon; she always has such interesting thoughts and insights on things.
Well that wasn't even a teaser, more like a mini tiny teaser lol...I have to say that Robward looks fantastic and so sexy. And I love how expressive his face is. However am I the only one annoyed that even in a ten second teaser they had to insert Taycob?

But I agree Kristen's wig is terrible, I still don't understand how they allowed her to make such a drastic change to her hair when she was in between filming two Twilight movies, and why Kristen did that despite being signed up for Twilight first (very professional of her *insert sarcasm here* lol), grrrr.
And is it just me or does Kristen's Bella act exactly the same between Edward and Jacob? That's just not right! Bella loves Edward, you don't act the same way with your close friend as you would with the love of your life, ugh again...very monotone.
And Taycob, simply put, he still has zero charisma or screen presence.
Anyways I can't wait for the full trailer! I hope we get a lot of Edward! And the music seems more similar to Twilight, that's good. And I read somewhere that they brought back the editor of Twilight perhaps she can restore the magical feel that was there in Twilight, and focus the movie on Edward, Edward/Bella. Hence giving it back that intense/tender/slightly gothic romance feel.
I will keep the hope that they haven't butchered the E/B romance ...
Hopefully tomorrow's trailer is a nice mix of the love story and some fighting scenes. It's only March so we have a long way to go. I don't know if you make this 90 second trailer for the fans or if you try to reach out to the boys who they want to come see it. I would hope they reach out to us, the fangirls.
emily - completely agree, jacob is needed for the story to be told. even though we would like to see all edward, jacob is part of the triangle and i hope they stick to the books and tell the story the way it was written.

I agree taycob very important to story line-but I will ALWAYS want to bitch slap & scratch out Bellas eyes for how she behaved in Eclipse...
I get that she wanted to save her friend, as he seriously saved her in NM....but the fact that she fell for his lie up on that mountain, and did that after she had accepted Edwards proposal just killed me....but in the end it works out for the one & only, Edward...
No matter how much I may make fun of the wig, and I always will.... I love this book and can not wait to see the movie....

For me ECLIPSE is the better book, it´s the most interested sure in my opinion.
The love triangle is stronger in that part and it´s very important Jacob in the story because it´s for him that Bella make the difference of the different style of love.
I´ve got a lot a hopeful in David Slade.
It´s clear that the movie will be the most waiting for the fans. Sure that Summit will get more money with this third part.
I see the trailer again and again and it will be difficult waiting to see the longer trailer tomorrow.
The Bella and Rosalie´s moment too will be interest.
And of course I want to see the proposal wedding.
And please, I hope that en BREAKING DOWN the love scene between Edward and Bella will be hot, Summit it´s not Disney, I want to see something more kisses, I want to see a little of skin but depends of Stephanie Meyers.
A lot of person think the Twilight saga is for teens but no, I´m married with children and I will be very decepointed if we won´t to see almost nothing. I can´t imagine for example, Bella and Edward in the beach and then the tomorrow morning in the bed, lolll
eclipse was my fav. book too, and i hope david did it right. but it is a little worrying that they got new editting when they are finishing it.
rpg - agree about bella but she was so young only 18 and so i couldn't be too mad at her. she was confused because jacob was there for her when edward left her and she really relied on him. and we could go on and on discussing the books....
Audrey, I agree about BD, but Summit & SM will never let it be an R movie.
IMO SM wrote a very steamy, sensual honeymoon, and if they film it the way she wrote it, it will be hot. The problem is MR changing things up and then the directors vision.... We won't see much skin, that's a given...

In each movie that we can see in the cinema or in TV, the youth don´t care about this style of scene, it´s worst violence than sex scene, of course not R movie, but something more that the usual. In each Hollywood movies we can see a lot of violence.

Now that I can breath again.... I had hoped and prayed to the Twilight gods that Bellas wig would look better in the movie from what we've seen in print....and it DOES NOT...

Regarding the wig (which I also don't like so much, so don't get me wrong): Maybe they (Summit, etc.) don't mind Bellas different look to portray that she is still changing in comparison to the Cullens, who don't change at all (personally I think, Robward is looking more handsome and sexy with every TW movie, but thats probably only me).

ReplyDeleteI think the reason her face shape looks different is because she is still growing. If you look at Bella in Twi vs. Bella in NM, she looks older and her face has changed. To me it looks like she outgrew her baby fat or something. Her face is slimmer and I don't think it has to do with the wig, which I admit is not that great.

Eclipse Edward is quickly becoming my favorite. I don't get the Jacob hate. Taylor is awesome and does an amazing job as Jacob. The story needs him.

ReplyDeleteI'm not liking the wig either, but I will stomach and reserve judgement until I see the entire flick. I hope there is more Rob in the full trailer tomorrow, but my gut is telling me that it will lean more towards the action element (hence newborns & werewolves) and love triangle in an effort to garner new audiences. Summit is banking on the legions of lovers of the books. They want to see if they can get more repeat boyfriends of fans and people who may be on the fence about seeing it in general.

Well that wasn't even a teaser, more like a mini tiny teaser lol...I have to say that Robward looks fantastic and so sexy. And I love how expressive his face is. However am I the only one annoyed that even in a ten second teaser they had to insert Taycob?

But I agree Kristen's wig is terrible, I still don't understand how they allowed her to make such a drastic change to her hair when she was in between filming two Twilight movies, and why Kristen did that despite being signed up for Twilight first (very professional of her *insert sarcasm here* lol), grrrr.
And is it just me or does Kristen's Bella act exactly the same between Edward and Jacob? That's just not right! Bella loves Edward, you don't act the same way with your close friend as you would with the love of your life, ugh again...very monotone.
And Taycob, simply put, he still has zero charisma or screen presence.
Anyways I can't wait for the full trailer! I hope we get a lot of Edward! And the music seems more similar to Twilight, that's good. And I read somewhere that they brought back the editor of Twilight perhaps she can restore the magical feel that was there in Twilight, and focus the movie on Edward, Edward/Bella. Hence giving it back that intense/tender/slightly gothic romance feel.
I will keep the hope that they haven't butchered the E/B romance ...

For me ECLIPSE is the better book, it´s the most interested sure in my opinion.
ReplyDeleteThe love triangle is stronger in that part and it´s very important Jacob in the story because it´s for him that Bella make the difference of the different style of love.
I´ve got a lot a hopeful in David Slade.
It´s clear that the movie will be the most waiting for the fans. Sure that Summit will get more money with this third part.
I see the trailer again and again and it will be difficult waiting to see the longer trailer tomorrow.
All the cast can be very proud of their work.

IMO SM wrote a very steamy, sensual honeymoon, and if they film it the way she wrote it, it will be hot. The problem is MR changing things up and then the directors vision.... We won't see much skin, that's a given...

In each movie that we can see in the cinema or in TV, the youth don´t care about this style of scene, it´s worst violence than sex scene, of course not R movie, but something more that the usual. In each Hollywood movies we can see a lot of violence.
