also, i am sorry to say that it doesn't matter how many petitions go out for ashley/kellan, summit wont change their mind, whatever they decide - they decide.
There should be a COMPROMISE to all parties concerned. It would be a pity if part of the original cast will be replaced. I'm sure Kellan & Ashley have contributed in playing their parts. Cooler heads should prevail.....

Okay. I'll admit it, they're not two of the greatest actors around, but...they're pretty much indelible in these roles. Especially Ashley.
Are they looking for bigger names for the last film? Has Twilight become so big that big actors would take small parts? Oh wait.
Michael Sheen and Dakota Fanning (guess that answers that stupid question).
So, what's going on? Are they really considering replacing them? What else would a petition mean? Are people as outraged as they were when they replaced Rachelle? And if they're going to replace anyone, why not Nikki (and not for the obvious reasons of the backstage drama). Of all the actors, transforming her into Rosalie is the hardest. There a thousand girls in Hollywood who could have played Rose without having to go through all the makeup hoops of hair and skin tone to transform her.
You guys have to understand something. I don't go all over the internet looking for Twilight or Rob information. I come here. PERIOD! And I don't twaddle and I know there's a wealth of information there. Eroneous though that information might be.
Alot of times when actors start renegotiationg contracts, it's because they have been put up to it by their management. Why?Because the more the actor makes, the more the management makes. And more than a few times, management has screwed an actor right out of a role that has made them a star.
To be honest, Kellan I can take or leave. Not as a person, but in the role. And as I said, Ashley isn't much of an actress, but with the third film upon us, she's Alice now. And with this being the final film that they're haggling over, I think it's a bit too late to replace her.
Considering how pissed people were over replacing Rachelle (and she was the villian) and thus far, the cool reception for Bryce Dallas Howard, as beloved as Ashley is as Alice, if they let her go this late in the game over money, which came from the pockets of this fandom in the first place. Ooooh...they just might have a major shitstorm on their hands.
Summit... If her demands are not that unreasonable, then just give her the damn money. It's not like you haven't got enough of it now.
The thing is though, they don't need Ashley Greene and they know it. They only need Robert Pattinson to keep this thing going and they've got him.
I mean honestly, would most of this fandom boycott Breaking Dawn if they replaced Ashley Greene? No.
Kristen's fans most likely would if they replaced her. But the majority are here because of Rob Pattinson and if they replaced him? This thing would crash and burn on liftoff.
I would not go see these films without him. I wouldn't have seen any of them without him.
