Jimmy Kimmel will have a special Q&A with the Twilight cast including Rob following the taping of the show, Monday June 14.
A friend just got this email straight from The Jimmy Kimmel show!
"Thank you for your ticket request to the Jimmy Kimmel Live Twilight Special. Unfortunately, we were NOT able to accommodate your ticket request because we reached our ticket capacity.
However, we some some good news! We are going to do special Q&A with Jimmy and the twilight cast members on our outdoor stage. We will invite 750 people to attend this special element of the show. You will not be in the studio for the Jimmy Kimmel Live show but you will be able to watch the show on a large plasma in front of the outdoor stage. At the end of the show, Jimmy and the cast members will come out to the outdoor stage and finish the show with the Q&A."
To make it fair for everyone, we will put the event up at 10pm tonight (6/10/10).
Gah Why don't I live in the US?:-( Good luck to you all don't forget to let us know if you manage to get tickets!
Sucks that they don't give people much notice....the ones that live out of state....
ReplyDeleteI got the e-mail, too. I would do it if it was for tickets to the actual show, but not for this, especially since Robstock II starts a few days later. ;-/

ReplyDeleteI got that e-mail too. Is it confimred that Rob would be there? The e-mail seemed awfully cryptic as to who will actually be there by just saying "cast members". And there's no way I'm traveling that far if its not confirmed that Rob & Kristen will be there.
ReplyDeletei got the email too, not even trying but if anyone gets it let us know :)) the last time i talked to the JK people and they said they had only 200 tickets for the show and over 15,000 responded for it.

i actually got my tickets today for all three movies on the 29th. dont have a babysitter yet but if i have to i will take my son with me LOL, no seriously ;) i will bribe him with toys but hopefully i will find a sitter by then.
you know what sucks even more? actually being a US citizen and still not being able to go. alaska and hawaii will forever be left in the dust...
ReplyDeleteit becomes a pain in my arse when these opportunities of give aways, meet & greets, and other amazing shit come about and my being secluded from participating. gosh seeing the lil rule disclaimers stating "only acceptable to applicants from the continental us" makes me rash.
stupid rules... stupid continental US... stupid rob for being so hot and making me rant about not being able to see the pretty up close and personal and also depriving me of making him fall head over heals for me at first glance.

ReplyDeleteThe US are lucky when it comes to Rob - there is a chance, a slim one, but still some chance. He's regularly on US TV shows too. He's never done one chat show in his home country - but there are only about 2 shows here anyway! There are some countries that hardly ever get to access Rob, so I won't moan too much, I'm just grateful for London premieres.
How disappointing for Rob's best fans by far (yuh, I'm biased). Every single ROBsessed fan who come here each and every day, wearing their heart on their sleeve for him, should get a ticket or a damn good shot at one. It ain't fair for sure. Go Robstock II!

Hi ladies, sorry to say, watched Jimmy Kimmel at 8 pm before the Stanley Cup finals. Then he's on again at 12:30 am and NO mention of the Twilight crew on there. Think you may have the dates wrong. Also checked tomorrow night and still nothing. But the data on shows has been wrong before!!!

I'll report back at 12:30 - 1 am my time and let you know if they're really on there. I plan on recording it and it should show up on You Tube also. Jimmy is on ABC.
@Nancy, calm down, don't worry. They will be on June 23. Too early for JK to be promoting while he's doing the Game Night shows. They are recording it on the 14th, if I remember correctly. And like, Game Night shows, my understanding is that it will be prime time, not his usual late night time slot. Can't wait for this one!
ReplyDelete@Ana, I save on my DVR all Rob's interviews and the last one with Ellen disappeared. Guess what? I didn't care because it was that bad. I still haven't forgiven her for not treating him right. I have high hopes for JK based on the Trinity's win appearance there last time.

ReplyDeleteI also hated the recent Ellen interview. Loved his first 2 The Rob pats blindfolded was ridiculous and I was embarassed but he laughed uproariously... at least he got a kick out of it.
She always treated him with respect until this one.. I was upset, but love them both. How about the Oprah knocking on doors thing? They're really pushing him, aren't they? At least he's game enough to try anything... I love that about him. Shows he is a really great guy. Love him inside as well as outside.
