OMG - that third picture reminds me of Rob in the Vanity Fair shoot video - when he is demonstrating to Kristen how to do a Kangaroo hop! LMAO! Its all in the arms....!!
I'm surprised to see Dean glued to Rob's side on set. Perhaps because it's outside and so exposed to view? I understand having a body guard accompany him to and from the set.... but everywhere he goes? Was it like this on Twi sets? (Not that we don't like us some dapper Dean!)
@Marna: the lack of HD is because of the distance. Even the tele lens of the paps can't get high resolution. It's actually a good thing, even if harder on the eyes.
@Loisada: yeah - a lot of open ground and long days. And there has been an 'incident' or two...
That rings a bell AP, didn't RPG say something about a woman being arrested for trying to sneak on set? But still, doesn't mean they'll bum rush him NYC-style.
I hate to think his fame has put him in a position where he can't be anywhere - not even a film set - without a bodyguard at his side. I don't wish that kind of prison on Rob...
From what I recall from the book, a lot of the scenes wth young Jacob are outsde. This leaves Rob vulnerable. Perhaps when they the do train car scenes and tent scenes, he will be safer and Dean won't have to be nearby. Also, was Dean there before some woman tried to sneak in? Maybe Rob had Dean come to protect him only after there was a possble danger?
That's true, AP. Hadn't thought of the p.a. link. It does make one wonder who does all Rob's p.a. work (perhaps Stephanie's staff?) Dean may well multi-task. I'm sure he is a comforting presence... much like agent security blanket!
I simply have a hard time wrapping my mind around the idea of Rob enjoying having another person attached to him like an appendage, which requires relinquishing an enormous amount of your privacy and easing your personal boundaries. (I say that as someone who's worked as a p.a., not had one!)
@AP I worked for a socialite who was a major arts patron in Paris. Lots of contact with artists and performers, with inside access to the seedier side of big money and big egos! The human-2-human rapport between an employer and assistant who spend lots of time together in "social" situations is tricky. People deal with the boundary issues in many different ways, but in my experience it's not easy for either party. Bodyguards and p.a.'s are intimate acquaintances but not usually close friends. Fine line to walk.....
Both Rob and Kristen appear, at least, to have found support people they can trust 100%, and that's no little feat!
