Gossip Cop has confirmed that an interview with Robert Pattinson will air on “The Today Show” on Monday, June 14.
Former First Daughter Jenna Bush Hager conducted the chat.
We got an email from one of our readers Cherish to let us know that when she was setting her DVR it said Rob would on "The Today Show" on June 14th.
Mmm it was news to us!
And it's also listed on TV Guide (Thanks Kim)
First we had heard of it.
Not sure how it's going to happen but we'll update you as soon as we find out more.
In the meantime set your DVR's.

ReplyDeleteI think it will be recorded. He will be doing the press junket for Eclipse on Saturday and Sunday, the Twicon Convention on Saturday, Kimmel taping on Monday and Leno on Tuesday.

Does anyone know when Rob (or other cast members) will be in NY for Eclipse? My friend and I definitely are road tripping there and already booked our hotel (from the 28th-30th) because for the other 2 movies they were in NY during that time.. and now were freaking out haha. Any help?! Thanks in advance!
ReplyDeleteI'm going to be on a cruise ship in Alaska for the whole week next week. There is a television in my room but I don't know what stations we will be able to get. I can't believe I planned this trip a year ago and it coincides with so much of the Eclipse promotion. I hope I can see all of it. If not, thank goodness for Robsessed and You Tube.

ReplyDeleteI wouldn't worry about skanky, all be it rich, Paris Hilton. She goes after anything in pants and we all know that Rob is the hottest guy around. I don't think he is that stupid, plus he is very, very busy right now. I doubt he has time for the people in his life that he really does care for let alone someone like Paris.

I don't get this--Is the Today Show in California? Is it NYC and he pretaped something that they will show, as they did with the People awards in England?

More exciting news! June is the best month ever. Don't you think it's interesting that he's doing all these interviews and appearances by himself (w/oKStew and Taylor)? I'm glad because he's showing star power on his own, away from Twilight. He's so ready to break out on his own. I imagine he's pretty sick of all the Twilight madness.

solas,rob seems as though he have got all of stamina,from growing up in the uk out all night,because one thing i know for sure,uk people love pub,they hang in their pub allot,they do not shop for clothes as they go to their pub,that uk people past their time,music and pub,so i think rob can hold his own

If the interview is with Jenna Bush, she is probably coming to California for a pre-taped interview. The Today Show does that a lot.
ReplyDeleteDon't know if JBH will be any better but glad it's not Matt. He treats Rob only as some kind of 'pop phenomenom,' which I suppose he is on one level, but also as if he isn't capable of an intelligent opinion. Don't often get my hackles up but every now and then....
ReplyDeletejB Hager is a teacher by trade, but Today uses her as an occasional interviewer. Not the sharpest tool in the shed, but competent enough.... if you don't mind bland. Nice to have connections, isn't it?!

AP: Yes, condescension is one of his trademarks. I think the Urban Dictionary's entry for "tool" is a photo of Lauer! I imagine that a young, successful guy like Rob reminds him of everything he's not: a renowned serious journalist, a figure well-liked in his field, an admired man widely hankered over by women. Of course, hair envy may be clouding his vision a bit.
