Last year, Josh Horowitz won the Robsessed Award for Best Non-fandom Supporter and we think he wants that award for 2012. Why? Because he asked Rob if he visits Robsessed and awesomeness ensued.
The king himself, Robert Pattinson, said he visits the site (in a "duh" kind of voice)...
...claimed he knows us (GAH. He's crazy. I think he thinks every fan he meets is Robsessed...and aren't they? *wink*)...
...told the world "they are on it" (we're on so much around here it's not even funny) and put on the pressure to make sure his schedule is always correct.
We've been on such a high by this and we can't thank Josh enough for giving the blog, and by proxy, all fans who call themselves Robsessed, a mention. The epic moment earned itself a permanent place in the side bar and our hearts.
A couple of media outlets also noticed the shout out and it just makes the whole experience better and better.

ReplyDeleteWow guys! I've been away for 8 days & boy did I miss A LOT!! I got slammed by Hurricane Sandy( the stupid bitch) & I had no power, water or food for 8 days. I had to ride around in my car for 2 hours a day just to keep my cell phone charged. I missed all the promo stuff so it's gonna take me a while to catch up. I still don't have any water because when my power finally came back on my water heater exploded & I had an inch of water in my kitchen! The people in NYC & NJ have it way worse, having lost their homes into the Atlantic ocean. Thankfully, I only got a taste of the disaster & for that I am truely grateful. I ask that you please send your prayers their way. So, that being said, I guess I have a lot of catching up to do while I wait for my water & then a REALLY HOT SHOWER!!!!!!! I really missed checking in everyday & am glad to be back among the living!

ReplyDeleteHBG is Kristen's bodyguard, not Dean. Though, personally, I find Dean to be much better all around. Grabby was the guy with him at Cannes in 2009. He literally picked Rob up at certain points and Rob has talked about hating it. Yes, there was a video called Robsessed that had nothing to do with our happy home.

When I heard Josh say the word "Robsessed" my mouth dropped open...and then when Rob answered, I couldn't believe it! I felt happy, laugh-y, and float-y!! Another classic memory to add to the list from being a participant on Robsessed. The only Rob blog endorsed by the man himself!!! Love him!

My daughter is watching "Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood" right now so I can grab a 30 minute window of down-time on the computer. I feel very thankful and after watching Sandy whip through, I have told myself to not take anything for granted.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad that you and mstre are okay. It surprised me to hear on our TV News though that in New-York and so the electric power isn't underground. In my country almost all electric power, in cities and villages is underground so that we don't fell without during storms or so.

It was like "Gee, Even Rob and Josh know the best place for good info on Rob. I actually have something in common!" Then, I was so excited and proud for Goz, Tink, Kat and Kate. ReplyDeleteAlthough some of us have wires both underground and over head the usual problem is the junction boxes or electricity stations that breakdown or burn! That is what happened in more than one area. One area near New York made it past the flooding and then the whole area caught fire. There was a small telethon to raise money for the Red Cross, but a lot of areas need help. We have a program still collecting food, blankets, clothes and shoes, etc. Unfortunately, with the horrible storms cause by the global warming, some of these programs stock pile so the are ready for the next disaster. We have been lucky, but we are subject to lots of tornadoes in my area and the trees tend to fall on houses, cars, etc!

ReplyDeleteThanks for your info, Cathy. I've seen on TV news in my country that in Queens 50 houses are destroyed by fire. It were the correspondants (right word?) in New-York who told on TV about the electric wires still being over head. I respect people living in areas where tornadoes or earthquakes are 'regular' phenomenoms. We don't have that here in Belgium. A storm in Fall or Spring, yes, but not the size you in the US get. We get a lot of rain though, like in the UK, and this rain causes flood in different area, more than in former days.
