Free-For-All Friday with Robert Pattinson

Free-For-All Friday with Robert Pattinson

PromoRob is coming! PromoRob is coming! I've been so nostalgic that last few weeks and listening to radio interviews from 2008. As we can tell from our calendar on the sidebar, Rob is going to be one busy boy for Breaking Dawn promo. We couldn't feel more blessed. :)

For this Free-For-All, I'm taking us back to a couple of Sirius radio interviews. This first radio show was so bizarre but I love Rob's laughter throughout. I miss RadioRob! He sounds amazing speaking into a mic in a studio. He sounds amazing always. I have more to say about his voice but don't want to get carried away. The bonus with these Sirius radio shows is not only do we hear Rob....we see him too! Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

We're those weird skits even part of the original show? I came into the fandom April 2009 so I was playing catch up with 2008. They're so weird. LOL One minute you've got Rob making love to your ear drums and then you have random, obnoxious skits. Way to throw cold water on a gal!

Let's check out another Sirius interview from 2008 that was chopped up BUT has no whack skits mixed in and contains one of my favorite Rob quotes: You are a smelly pirate hooker. Why don't you go back to your home on whore island?

*fistpump* I LOVE YOU LONGTIME, RAAAAAAAAHB!!!

Robert Pattinson Audio From The WFE Barcelona Press Conference

I don't think we ever had the entire Audio/Video of Robert Pattinson from this Barcelona Press Conference and there's bits in this that are new to me.

If we did have this before then please forgive me but it's totally worth another listen just for his adorable laugh.

And yes Rob you are "SO HUMBLE" ! (I may have listened to that part a few hundred times :-})

ROBsession 101: Robert Pattinson wants you to feel like it's wrong

Yesterday, we posted some fabulous wallpapers by Marina H. and many (too many) of you didn't know where the quote was from on this wallpaper:

I provided the link in the comments section but I couldn't help but feel class needed to be in session for what was one epic radio interview. The gems Rob dropped were plentiful (I'm wide open, bite me bite me bite me, I'm still waiting for the snuggles, and so many more!).

CLASS IS NOW IN SESSION!

The quote "fill duhrty about it...fill durhty...fill like it's wraaahng" is VintageRob. It was first posted on ROBsessed November 4, 2008. The video links on the old post no longer work but here is the interview in it's entirety.

<*WARNING*> Rob's voice is extremely sensual...you should listen to this with headphones and ALONE. < /*WARNING*>

Bonus pictures after the cut :)

We love Robert Pattinson interviews. But you know what's better than a Robert Pattinson interview? A Robert Pattinson interview that includes audio.

Click HERE to hear Rob's melt worthy voice. Be sure to fasten the emergency seat belt on your computer chair so you don't slip off.

Sofar Sounds Talk About Robert Pattinson

Sofar Sounds Talk About Robert Pattinson

You might remember the video above going around the internet a while back.
It's a vid of Robert Pattinson performing for "Songs From A Room" back in January.

Pattinson_Music LJ were lucky enough to have the chance to interview the people behind the video, Sofar Sounds

Here's where they asked about Rob.

Lastly, if you don’t mind, I’d like to inquire a bit about Robert Pattinson’s performance on behalf of our community. Did he volunteer to play? Can you describe his performance style, his musical style for us?

He sure did. He was in the audience and clearly enjoying the music. Halfway through the gig he asked if we would mind if he played. As there were 5 other acts pre booked to play we said ‘sure!’ but that it would have to be at the end of the night. He was nervous –Rob said it had been about a year since he had played live and hoped he remembered what to do. He was very down to earth and shy about it. It was getting late once he grabbed the guitar and walked to the ‘stage’ (the front of a private home in north london) - so we agreed he’d play one song. He has a very rich and soulful style – sweet-sad lyrics – a sound not unlike his friends Marcus Foster and Bobby Long.

We’ve been so patient waiting for him to perform and your clip gave us so much hope! Do you plan on releasing the full song he performed? And can you see him returning for another performance?

We will definitely release the full clip of his performance in the coming months. Just arranging when a good time to do so (watch this space: www.sofarsounds.com). And as he truly enjoyed playing Songs From A Room (and played well), I’m pretty certain he’ll be back.

Many actors and actresses in Hollywood, including George Clooney, Brad Pitt, and Julia Roberts have started their own production companies, and have produced and nurtured movies and television shows which they want to star in and/or feel passionate about.

Now, it looks like we can add Robert Pattinson to that list. Rob told Fox all Access that he wants to follow in their foot steps, and be an all around producer. (Kate: Sounds like a good plan to me!)

Ok now if your anything like me you weren't paying much attention to what he actually said, so go back and listen once (or twenty times) more :-}

From Entertainmentwise At the "Remember Me" Press Conference

Earlier on in the month we told you how we got oh so close to the gorgeous Robert Pattinson at the premiere of his new film, Remember Me.

And now it's time to share with you what was said behind closed doors....(Kate: Oooooh)

Playing the role of Tyler Hawkins, a troubled teen is as far as you can get from Edward Cullen, the lovelorn vampire in the Twilight saga, so what made Rob decide to play Tyler?

“Tyler as a character...I mean, it seems like most movies which have young male protagonist as the lead they have to be like a virgin to begin with and have to learn everything during the movie...but Tyler seemed like, he starts off with a lot of baggage and a very full and developed character and ends up just being developed in a slightly different way rather than just becoming 'Oh I'm fine now, after this movie, after going through this movie I'm fine...and you just never see that in films very much, especially for young people.”

And with the film being set in New York, Rob had to banish his English accent and go all American on us, but due to the professional that he is, he didn't even have to try, it came naturally.

“Sometimes when you're lucky you just read a script and the voice just comes out right. I wasn't even concious of doing a New York accent either, I don't even know what borough or anything...I've just spent a bit of time in New York; you know, just try and pick up on how people speak.

“I don't know where my accent is now, I mean I wouldn't say it was specifically London accent any more.”

It doesn't matter what accent you have Rob, we just love hearing the sound of your voice... (Kate: You can say that again! I think the reporter is a fan LOL)
