In the September issue of Elle UK, Katy Perry mentions Rob. Rob and Katy have been friends for years and it's sweet to read how she regards their relationship. Plus she's so funny with the farting. It's worth DR debate. ;)Like her pyrotechnic stage outfits, her humour is saucy and postcard style - all double entendres and faintly inappropriate fart jokes. "OK, so here's the proof there was never anything going on with me and Robert Pattinson. I fart in front of him. Properly fart. And I never, ever fart in front of a man I am dating. That's a rule." It's typical Katy - a disarming way to diffuse an awkward topic. "He's my bud, I'm like his big sister. We just hang out. The other day, I said: 'One of the things I'm most proud of is not sleeping with you, Robert.' And that's true."
Part of me thinks quiet, English Robert might be a loverly boyfriend for Katy. Yet it's clear, given her predilection for bad, big-mouthed boys, that he is absolutely not her type.

She also has A-list girlfriend, with whom relations sometimes seem a little strained. Mortified at being painted as the other woman, she made sure Kristen Stewart knew the Robert Pattinson relationship rumors were just that. "I sent her a text message saying: 'I know you've seen all this stuff, but you know I would never disrespect you. I'm not that person. I'm just trying to be a friend to him but it is unfortunate that I do have a set of tits.'"
Robert Pattinson was one of several famous faces who helped pop megastar Katy Perry celebrate the release of her flick ‘Part Of Me’ earlier this year. The ‘Twilight’ hunk was snapped with teen stars Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez piling into the back of a minivan en route to the after party at the famed Chateau Marmont back in June.
MTV Australia asked Rob about the celeb-overload outing when we caught up with him yesterday in Sydney – and the star revealed that despite all the fuss, he didn’t actually manage to see his friend’s movie debut that night!
“Embarrassingly I didn’t actually go to the premiere, I just went to the party!” Rob said with a laugh. But Katy needn’t worry, as Rob has since made up for lost time.“I have seen that film though,” he continued, “I really liked it.”
So can we expect Katy to return the favour and support her pal Rob when ‘The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2’ premieres next month? “Yeah maybe. Yeah! Katy was thrilled to be in Australia for the premiere of the film, but we had to ask her what it was like partying with Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez and Robert Pattinson after her LA screening.
She told thehothits.com, "There wasn't really any partying, cause when I party I party! I party like Andrew W K style, I crowd surf!"
"But no we were just hanging out, I love Selena and we have a lot of mutual friends and Justin's always been so nice to me and Robert somehow got stuck in all of this!"
Twilight's MyAnna Buring has said watching co-stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart deal with the spotlight has made her realise fame isn't always what it's cracked up to be.
The 27-year-old Swedish actress - who plays vampire Tanya in Breaking Dawn Parts 1 and 2 - is impressed with the way the actors, who are a real life couple, deal with the attention, but is pleased she doesn't get as much.
MyAnna said: "I've only had lovely experiences with fans but I think it must be crazy for the main group.
"They handle it with amazing grace, but if people actually experienced it I think they would think again about how cool it is, because it can be really tough."
The Kill List actress revealed working on the final instalment of the hit vampire franchise had been really exciting.
She said: "It's going to be big. Filming the final scenes was so epic. All the original characters and all the new vampires were there, it was just huge.
"One hundred actors on one set creates quite a special atmosphere, and you got a sense of what you were part of."
