DiorRob has arrived!

And he's making quite the splash. Even with the official campaign being launched in select countries, that hasn't stopped the world from reporting on the massively popular fashion brand, Dior, and their new Dior Homme.

Rob is everywhere and he's being celebrated everywhere. The ad is practically being declared a universal success and a lesson in complete and utter hotness. Rob is gaining new fans and an undeniable sexiness is being reported.

Darja kindly sent us a scan of DiorRob in a fashion magazine she grabbed but this is really only the beginning!

We collected a sample of the goodness seen around the world, the global reporting and tweets.

Good Morning America was a great kick off to the US even embracing the ad given that an official launch in North America is unknown. Doesn't matter. Rob's fandom is worldwide and DiorRob is here for us all. Power of Rob!

Dior's site, DiorMag, has some great, recent editorials on DiorRob. I love the way Dior is marketing everything. Pleased as punch with their new Dior Homme. It's the turn of photographer Nan Goldin to capture Robert Pattinson's seductive power. The American artist, famous for her on-the-wing snapshots of 1980s New York, is the creator of the campaign portraits. Anyone who thinks Robert Pattinson's acting stops at making swoony vampire eyes is selling the star short -- by a considerable margin. (Tink: HELL YES) 

While Pattinson's performances in "Water for Elephants" and "Remember Me" were solid, both leaned too heavily on his "Twilight" cred, casually capitalizing on his weepy romantic image. However, it was last year's "Cosmopolis," an adaptation of the Don DeLillo novel of the same name by Canadian director David Cronenberg, that pushed Pattinson over the edge from potentially great to genuinely wonderful. (Tink: I die.) 

It looks like that streak will continue with "The Rover," a post-apocalyptic western from "Animal Kingdom" director David Michod, which has just secured American distribution from A24 ("Spring Breakers," "The Bling Ring").

Complex has complied a list of the 25 Best Actors in the business right now that are in their twenties. Rob made the cut and joined some great company!

What's also great is the write up at the start of the list. You'll find yourself beaming at the criteria and feeling a little smug since we've known how talented Rob is. And to think he hasn't shown us all he's got either. Rob's personal write up is also awesome. Just watch how you burst with pride for being a fan of such a talented actor.

Are you still hanging in there??? All this goodness and we still haven't seen the ad! There's some fun info still coming in from the journalists that were granted the extreme pleasure to experience DiorRob launch event....and it's a 3 DAY EVENT!

It's looking like the interviews will be embargoed until the fall. That coincides with the September release of the ad. I also enjoyed what this journalist said in her comments section about Dior Homme (image from the cocktail dinner party at Petit Ermitage posted HERE):

"Love it. I mean, I might be wearing it myself now."



Lastly, I know people were curious about Los Angeles as the location to launch DiorRob. We can't read the entire greeting from the press kit but this was awesome. It feels like a nod to Rob and his career:

"During these few days spent together, we will be organizing trips to the most symbolic places in this city dedicated to the film industry."
