No Video Left Behind: Robert Pattinson talks about believing in happy endings, fighting for love and MORE

UPDATE: Added another video of Rob with Hoyts. This fan is so composed and so lucky! She won a contest to interview the trio at the press junket. Too cute.

Rob talked to EXTV. His interview is right at the beginning. He jokes he didn't get fired after all the films and he's glad he got to be happy in Breaking Dawn Part 2.

Rob gives a shout out to the troops.

Rob and Kristen talk to TN about Breaking Dawn Part 2. Rob's part is mixed throughout but Kristen also mentions Rob. Highlights:

  • Rob talks about what Kristen brought to the role of Bella and Kristen shares the same information about Rob.
  • Kristen says Rob was perfect to play Edward.
  • Rob's instinct was to find the darkness and frailty of Edward.
  • Rob's message of love in the saga is that it's haaahhhrd, you have to fight for it, it's unexpected, surprising and the most important thing (which he agrees with).
  • Rob believes in happy endings in real life because it would be bad if you didn't.

Wow!! I felt like that last interviewer was really pushing the boundaries with those questions about love and happy endings in real life. Rob and Kristen handled that so well...the comment from Rob about love being "hard", well it definitely has been for him this year. I felt really happy when they both said that love is worth fighting for and is the most important thing...I hope that those sentiments see them through their difficult times...I hope that they can both be happy.

It's a great feeling - having so many interviews to watch, pictures to see, gifs to laugh at (or drool over) and the opportunity to see BD2 on the big screen. And I think it helps me push away the inevitable feeling of loss I think I'm going to experience...that sense of finality that the actual "real time" era of the Twilight series is through - although we'll always love it, and love Rob. Pretty soon we'll make that gear shift into the next phase of his career, but I've certainly been spoiled with how many movies he's managed to do in a short span of time over the past few years. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, Rob...love you to pieces! And Happy Thanksgiving to all my Robsessed friends, all around the world. You guys mean a lot to me...

The word that comes into my mind is "ANGEL". His face & voice always bring me to a happy place. The human hearts capacity to love sometimes brings us to the most unusual places to find some form of it. You don't need to possess it but meerly enjoy exsisting in the same moment in time.

BTW.......Happy Thanksgiving to all my fellow American Robssessers. Let us have a moment of silence for all the poor birds that gave their lives for us so that we can overindulge today & then live on SlimFast for the next two weeks!!

*swoon* * . * Such a romantic! Can I have him?! PLEASE?! Guys like Rob are just so hard to come by now a days. *sigh*

Along the lines of love worth fighting for,I found this quote on one of my favorite sites. When an elderly couple was prompted for a response on how they managed to stay together for 65 years and counting they said: "We were born in a time when something was broken we fix it, not throw it away..."

I think the courage to do so is just so admirable.:)

She thought HE was perfect for it and she was soo right. That last video with the German interviewer is very revealing to me . They seem to open up more to foreign press and that's understandable considering how most US press act like vultures. When he refers to her as,''a specific character, even in real life"...to me he's saying she's special..and she is. Whatever you say about her you have to admit she's one-of-a-kind, and so is he, and that's why they're perfect together.

Very true and quite poetic, Zola. We don't have to possess Rob, it's enough to love him from afar, the way we would anyone out of our realm... those we look up to and admire. But with him for us it's so much more...every good emotion is evoked ...except for one..longing. The younger ones feel the unrequited romantic love ...while some of us older ladies feel everything for him....we even envy his mother..it's a sweet sadness we live..longing for the unattainable...But we feel we have him in a sense, here on Robsessed. I would be sad indeed, without this, my happy place.

Yes, the interviewer was trying but then he didn't know Rob and Kristen well yet :)

seemed like he answered some of the questions from his personal experience
