I laughed, I cried, I was horrified, I was happy, I was amazed. It was totally not what I expected it to be... I loved Kristen as Vampire Bella, she was amazing. I thought that the face of the young Renesmee looked a little weird, but overall well done. So much action, so much love, so many funny moments. And way too short ofcourse! Why does it have to be over now?!

Gozde said...

I'm going to go watch it tonight! I will let you know how good Daddyward was! I can't wait!!!

Gozde said...

i totally loved it:-) I can't wait for tomorrow.

won't see it for a while - but i heard about twist - not really a twist if you've read the book in my opinion - if that was the right info i was reading? overall very good feedback on the final installment - can't wait! quite sad it's ending really - a bit like when you read the final book and that's it but yet you want a little more...

Thanks for this post Tink - I may/ may not see this Fri (US) , I have the ticket but RL might step in as it does sometimes unexpectedly !! And then may not see perhaps till DVD comes in :-( Well those who do enjoy and post here so people like me can read !

I was totally ill-prepared for the epicness of BD2. I was prepared for another typical Twilight Saga offering. WRONG!!! Bill Condon succeeded in bringing the fandom what it wants the most..a film to be proud of! Mr. Condon gives us the visual satisfaction of Edward & Bella's consumated love in a way that will have you swooning. Forget the 'leg hitch' in Eclipse. There is a love scene where Edward hitches Bella's leg and I almost fell off my seat. I think I screamed. The love scenes are beautifully done, and it seems he pushed the PG-13 rating as far as he could. I mean the cottage scenes are that good :) There are wonderfully subtle scenes that make you laugh out loud. Both Rob & Kristen excel at bringing levity to their characters personalities. Taylor & Billy Burke's scene where Jacob transforms is really well done :) The acting in this film is phenomenal. The final scene is without doubt the best ever done in a Twilight film. My voice was gone from all the screaming I did. I cannot wait to see this film again and again. Thank you, Bill Condon!!!!

Gozde said...

not a twist?! Twist is only the beginning of it! Me think you've got the wrong info ;)

Gozde said...

I loved it!!I went to watch the marathon so i saw ALL the movies :-D I spilled a tear when Bella says bye to Charlie before leaving for the honeymoon (think the choking started at the wedding when he was so touched -something about Charlie *lol*), i was horrified during the twist! Elated afterwards and laughed and loads of times during all the movies. This last one really was awesome and nothing like i would've imagined it -which is a good thing! It certainly has the element of surprise to it! Pure Twi-love <3

Can someone please tell which songs I should be listening to on repeat from the BD2 Soundtrack? You know the songs that were used during emotional/sweet moments in the film.

Oh.my.god !!
I loved the movie guys - I loooooooved it !!
Edward is more beautiful than ever, he looks so good in this movie I must have spent half of the time with my mouth open, jaw hanging... He's so cute as a dad, his smiles to Renesmee are so freaking adorable. And I loved him in all the more manly scenes with the other vampires and during the battle mainly - he's perfect.
Bella is good too, I did enjoy the transformation. She looks real good and fierce too. And all the scandal stuff did not at all prevent me from enjoying the Edward/Bella story (I was a bit afraid it would be kind of tainted, but it was just fine).
The love scene is beautiful, lots of close ups - I really felt like kissing Edward's neck myself too :-)
Loved all the vampires, great stuff - with a preference for Garrett, Benjamin and Kate too.
The scene with Jacob showing his wolf side to Charlie is hilarious, as are also some scenes between Jacob and Edward.
The battle is epic, amazing, fabulous - I really enjoyed the whole scene. Amazing !!
... Ok - now I really want to see it again ...
Did I mention that Rob as Edward looked absolutely stunning ?!?!
And I totally agree with a commenter below that the acting was really good in this movie - I din't single out any awkward moment. It really seemed like everyone was having a blast.
Oh, and Edward..... Sooooo handsome !

Oh my god I loved it!! Daddyward was the cutest, esp when he was playing to her on the piano and when she jumped into his arms - hello swoon?! Was pleasantly surprised at how funny it was at times, had the theater in hoots. Wow cottage sex scene... need I say more?! ;) Bill Condon really pushed the R13 in this one. I did get a bit sappy and teary eyed when Bella was hugging Charlie - call me sucker for the relationship between those two cause I also got teary eyed in BDP1 when she said goodbye before her honeymoon. The pure shock and horror that was emanated from mine and the audiences faces during the battle scene was something to be seen for sure! And the cheers, clapping and screaming when Jane and then Aro was 'killed' was electrifying! The ending was just fantastic and beautifully created - cried when they were playing the montage of all the movies call me a sap but it was beautiful!! Just thinking how young they were in the first movie and how far Bella and Edward had come as a couple really got the tears flowin hahaha. Overall - superb acting by ALL the cast I loved the new personalities the new vamps bought, the midnight premiere was my first and an experience I will hold with me for the rest of my life! I laughed, I cried and I cheered - thank you so much Twilight for being with me for 5 years of my life! The ride has been a blast and can't wait to fangirl all over again when the DVD comes out!

Gozde said...

I have seen it yesterday too, and let my tell you, I love it, they have done a great job. It was an avant-première in France, and the theater was totally packed; Not a seat free in all the place. The people applaused at the end of the movie, and there was some reactions during the film. I will see it again tomorrow. Did I say that I love it ?

Gozde said...

i loved the movie! gasped at twist. still unsettled from the beheading but it was entertaining. loved edwards reaction to bella pushing around jacob also him as a lab rat to kate as she test bellas shield. emmett and rosalie had some nice funny moments. the ending with bella showing edward their history :) so sweet

Gozde said...

Thanks! Do you know which song was used during the sex scene?

Gozde said...

I'm not sure sorry! Was too focused on Robward ;)

Help! Does anyone know how I might find people in Seattle that are going
to the movie marathon tomorrow? I am a closet twi mom (both my kids are
boys!) and I have to leave the movies for a bit tomorrow to drop my son at a ticketless RHCP concert where I have to show my cc. I would like to find
some people who are going so we can team up to save seats for each other
for bathroom/food/kid breaks, and also maybe make some new friends. Any
help is appreciated. Thanks.

Gozde said...

For those who have seen it: Is the twist something we read in the book? Like, that the battle is all in Alice's vision? If it's not that, then please don't tell me! ;)

Gozde said...

Epic I cried like a baby at the end. What a ride!!! I love you all out there, twilight and then Rob are the reasons we are all here. It got me through some difficult times. I am really emotional now. I am so happy I ve lived this experience. So happy.

Gozde said...

Saw the movie last night and LOVED it. Im traumatized even now by the ending. I keep seeing *C's* head in Aro's hands. *shivers* I really didnt think it would end the way it did. Totally EPIC! Loved the scene's with Charlie. He totally rocks! Jake's transformation was hilarious. A group of us have a private screening on Saturday... so am looking forward to everyone's reaction. Think I can let go then too and shed a few tears. As I said last night I was just in a shocked and stunned state. Everyone around me was complaining of a racing heart and shaking hands. *Robward*.... sigh... not much more to add. Lol!

Gozde said...

After seeing the spoiler that someone posted on tumblr before seeing the movie (i was so angry when that happened), i thought i wouldn't be shocked at the battle scene. WOAH was i wrong! That was the best twist in a movie i have ever seen! It made me love the saga even more it was just that good. The whole cinema gasped and cried when everyone kept getting killed off.. and my friend goes 'Oh No!! If Emmett dies...! But i was already distraught about Jasper and Carlisle haha. Was not expecting it to be alice's vision AT ALL!

Loved when Bella had a go at Jacob.. Kristen was amazing at that haha. Daddyward was gorgeous.. and the sex scene.. well i agree with everyone else.. they really pushed that PG13 rating ha. So swoon-worthy though! Loved it! I can't wait to go and see it again!!!!

Gozde said...

Saw it last night [Sydney time]. Visually beautiful, funny, exciting, can't wait to see it again. When Kristen said Bill Condon likes to twist the knife at the end she wasn't kidding !!! That battle sequence-I had my mouth open till the end and all the audience [full theatre] went "Ohhhhh" at the end of the battle [and didn't that leave possibilities for future Twi stories, open]. They used Alice well ! Sex scenes was sooo well done-pity it was so brief. Glad we got one more look of Taylor, with his shirt off-I'll miss that in the future.... I didn't see anybody crying at the end but we did clap.
Kristen played the role so well...we [the group I went with] all agreed she made an amazing Vamp. Loved the comedy aspect Jacob/Edward..the Romanians. Considering all the previews we were given, I thought I'd seen most of the movie before I got there. However it was a lovely surprise....hopefully I'll see it again n again etc. in the next couple of days. Congrats Bill C, it was a great ending.
I wish Stephenie Myer would give us all a break and keep the Twi. Universe going. The Host just doesn't do it for me....

I can't wait to share my thoughts to you over the weekend and take time from my busy hectic life to do so

Gozde said...

how sweet was Edward thanking Carlisle for this life and super funny Jacob asking Edward if he should call him dad now
edwards reaction priceless

Gozde said...

I loved ittttt! It was amazing! I just came from the cinema!(Argentina Premier) I love vampire Bella and Edward of course! I was in shock with the fight scene! I didn´t know what to do scream or cry o get up and leave the room! LOL But it was great! Amazing movie! Still thinking about sex scene! Love you Rob!

Gozde said...

Probably not a good idea to post here since I don't want to be spoiled, but just so excited. I have my ticket for the marathon tomorrow, ending with BD2. YAY! I was trying to look at what times the 4 pre-BD2 films would be shown, wondering if I had time enough to get refreshments, and pee of course. Just shook my head to think that it is not like I haven't seen the pre-BD2 films several times, so if I missed a little bit, it wouldn't matter. Cannot help it, I still want to see every single moment. Am I sick or what?
Will be back tomorrow night/ early Friday morning to let you know what I think. I'm going to cry, but hopefully just because I'm nostalgic, and not because I'm upset with what went on in the film. Please, please- don't let anyone I love... "die".

Gozde said...

THIS is for the REALLY REALLY observant people: Did you guys find Bear on the movie????? *wiggles eyebrows* YEEAH HE WAS THERE!!! Bear is breaking dawn!!

Gozde said...

I also had a heart attack when Aro ripped Carlisle head

Gozde said...

OMG!!!!!! :O ...just got back from movie....WOW! First of all Edward has reached the pinnacle of Beauty. (don't get me wrong he is delicious in the others but the make up on this movie was fantastic)..he is breathtaking in this film, finally they have captured the Gobsmacking, out of this world stunning vamp that was first written about in book one. (yes it helps that they have such a beautiful man to start with in Rob). Secondly, Kristen Stewart totally SMASHED vamp Bella. She was an absolute VIXEN and again her beauty was phenomenal!! Movie was true to the book as per normal, they touched on most of the key points, though would have loved to see longer vamp sex scene (only so I can ogle Mr P) and I loved it when Jacob phased in front of charlie..that was funny. BUT then it gets to the fight scene and FUCK ME!!!! excuse my french, but my heart was in my throat, I actually yelled out NOOOO in the cinema, my pulse was racing and I just kept going NOOOO, I was starting to get really upset that they would end it that way and almost started flat out howling, and then the sequence ended, and EVERYONE in the cinema collectively sighed with relief. I felt sick, don't think I have been that panic stricken in a movie for a very long time....pheew!! Edward gives Bella a look at the start of the fight scene that is just not able to be put into words...........out of this world beautiful! I loved how they tied the book pages into the ending that felt very nostalgic and seemed to really confirm the END of the saga, but also remind you of the journey that it has made. Lastly I LOVED the way they did the credits....that bought tears to my eyes.......Well done Bill Condon!!

Gozde said...

Could someone tell me what's the surprising end? I'm dying here, I won't be able to watch the movie in like, 2 weeks. Please, I'm begging :(

Gozde said...

My pulse was racing too! I thought the movie was going to end like that and all I could think was "how can the Cullens have a happy ending afterwards??"

Gozde said...

Are you sure? It was soo good to watch it with the element of surprise and unexpectancy in there - trust me, you'll be wanting to jump out of your seat for sure :)

Gozde said...

I was distraught...was thinking this is too twisted for me to handle...when Edward almost died thought I was going to go thermonuclear.....thank the stars all is well in Forks!! ;)

Gozde said...

In what scene? I was only focussed on Robward ;-)

Gozde said...

Honestly? Kudos to Bill Condon for taking the ridiculousness of the 2nd half of that book and making it even remotely watchable. Edward was wallpaper for the last part of the saga (shame on you, SM, shame) and we should thank Bill profusely for including him in as many scenes as possible. Bill knew exactly what the fans wanted. There certainly isn’t a scene omitted that any fan would pine over.

I loved the saga but hated the final book. I know the whole thing is just one big melodrama (and I went with it, hook, line and sinker) but the ending took too big a leap into fairyland for me. I really never cared about the international vampires. I won’t start on my usual rant about the fact that SM introduced all those new characters right at the end of the story...Having said that, Benjamin and Garrett got a few good moments in. Garrett and Jacob got most of the humour - and thank God for a bit of levity.

As for the twist...and then it was all a dream. Yeah. I used to write stories like that in high school. Cinematically, I get why Bill chose to do it - otherwise NOTHING really happens at the end of the book. So, it was dramatic and it upset me to see Carlisle get his head ripped off. Mind you, once vampire #788 was beheaded I was desensitised to the whole decapitation thing.

This sounds like a very negative reaction to the film. Surprisingly, I WILL watch it again (oh, who am I kidding - and probably AGAIN) and I got swept up in the sentimentality at the end and ugly cried with the best of them. And there are definitely scenes to watch in slow-mo when the blu ray comes out ;)

For me? It’s Edward. It’s always been Edward. It will always be Edward. And Rob’s portrayal of Edward - even when they try to rob him of every ounce of sexiness by turning him into a middle-aged looking, married, vampire daddy.

I love that this saga brought the incredible talent, quirkiness and beauty of Robert Pattinson to my attention. I love that it has been wrapped up in a very neat and FINAL bow. I will have NO INTEREST in anything connected to Twilight beyond Edward and Bella’s story.

Twilight, thank you for the incredible ride. Thank you for kick-starting, what I imagine will be, an incredible cinematic career for Robert Pattinson. Rob, thank you for bringing Edward to life on the big screen. You were magic - see you in the outback xx

Gozde said...

It was amazing, i don't think one fan will leave the cinema hating it! even the non-fans. Vamp Bella was fierce and stunning and she gets to rough up Jacob! Rob as Edward *sigh* so dreamy and love all his expressions esp. when he helps Bella with her shield practice..lol! Emmet and his epic one liner so hilarious, Jacob with his "revelation" to Charlie freakin' priceless...Charlie "is not gay" ahahaha! Renesmee was adorable, and i like Benjamin, Alistair and Kate best of all out of that other coven/domads. The battle scene left me literally shouting out WTH is going on here! my mind went overdrive as soon as Alice mouthed out "Go Now" or something like that. I love that Dir. Condon succeeded in giving us the fans an ending with a different perspective from how it went down in the book. The vamps get to fight in all their glorious powers and when Alice went after Jane my bff was all over it "Yeah take that b*tch out" oh lord, bless her heart! however, most of the time i had this incredulous expression on my face as the battle went on, i was horrified and kept saying no this can't be it? somebody wake up! or me up! lol! and i was throwing my bag of chips to my other bff in the midst of my fit over the battle scene. and by the time Bella ripped Aro's head off again my bff shouted out " Yeah! in your face!", it seems my non twi fan bff was really into it! i already was covering my mouth to not distract the other viewers. But it seems we all have the same reaction. Again Dir. Condon, incorporated his tribute to all the characters in the saga beautifully i couldn't ask for anything more except to watch that all over again! hehehe! ..one more thing i'm annoyed of the strategically placed vase after Edward and Bella's sexy time at the cottage blocking my view...kidding! but that was one hot scene and at the same time tender ;)

Gozde said...

This was honestly the first time I've ever felt panic-stricken in a movie! Ahh yes ;)

Gozde said...

Great comes out today in OZ seeing it on Sunday&Monday so good to hear that it's so GOOD,looking forward to it.

Gozde said...

It was crazy,eh! I love the battle scene, it was epic. Never scream so loud while watching a movie. When they did the battle scene, i was ... wtf, moment! lol...Later, going back to work now and watch the movie later tonight.

Gozde said...

It is! It really is. I think I have almost all the bad words running in my head while watching it. :)) While you screamed, I, on the other hand, was practically pulling my hair out, messing it like crazy. LOL
Alright. Hope you have a good day at work and enjoy another round! :D

Gozde said...

Hi! *waves* Seems like yesterday we're just talking about this in an old thread. I've finally seen it! :D You summed it up much better. Here's to more viewings of this film! ;)

Gozde said...

Hear, hear. Well at least, in a Twilight movie. Even remembering it now gives makes my heart feel suffocated or something. Don't care if it's just a twist or not, it just can't be unseen! lol

Gozde said...

Can anyone tell me if there was an extra scene at the very end of the credits?
BTW - how good was the jawporn! And call me crazy, but was seeing Rob's leg during their sexy time the most yummy thing ever!!?!

Gozde said...

*waves back* i'm glad you finally made it here! come on do share your theater experience and reactions during the movie...hehehe, wasn't it better not knowing much? did you like how the credits were done? so beautiful and the score made it more haunting and nostalgic..esp. at the intro i love the snow effects. i know your mind keeps reliving those scenes you love...hehehe. Did you went with some friends? i hope you did coz i was so pumped up watching it in imax and everybody in the theater applauded when the credits rolled in. One of my bffs even said that she is having a separation anxiety now that it has ended...lol! she has been my movie date for this saga films since 2008. She told me she loves this last one the best coz of the action scenes. Yeah, she has never read the book but she was really happy for me completing this journey with her :)

Gozde said...

It was epic! Loved it! Kristen, Rob and Taylor did a fantastic job. Bill Condon I bow to you. Right from the beginning you are hooked. One of my favorite scenes was when Bella kicked Jacobs butt when she finds out he imprinted on Renesmee. They got it to the T. The love scene was sooo hot and steamy. They really pushed the PG-13! Can't wait to see on my big flat screen...LOL! Love the little banter between Edward and Emmett. Garrett and Kate were also awesome. Renesmee was soo cute. A little weird in the beginning with the CGI. The battle squence was awesome. EPIC! Loved the scenes with Charlie too. The love he has for Bella, made me cry. The ending is sooo emotional. You get to look back at the whole saga and it makes more special. Loved, loved, loved Edward, Daddyward! Wished more scenes with him and Renesmee but it was good. I'm going back tomorrow and Saturday. Can't get a enough!!!

Gozde said...

he appears in the credits at the begging running around in the background

Gozde said...

Yeah me and a whole bunch of people stayed right til the very very end - don't worry there was nothing there
Any form of RobPorn is sexy - but esp in that scene ;)

Gozde said...

Agree! Thanks so much.

Gozde said...

WHAT?!!!!!!!!!!!!! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!! CARLISLE DID NOT GET HIS HEAD RIPPED OFF!!!!! NO THAT CAN'T BE!!! and thanks I have'nt seen the movie yet I plan on seeing it tomorrow I AM PISSED OFF RIGHT NOW AT SM AND MR NO ONE IS SUSPOSED TOO DIE okay I GET that there is a battle but NO ONE in the Cullen family should have too die!!! OH IT GOING TO GET REAL SERIOUS right now I am PISSED IF THAT BITCH had a fb page right now I would let her have it right now DAMN HER!

Gozde said...

so am I.. a little emotional I will miss the hell out of the charaters so much (*in tears*) it was an AMAZING ride they are my heart and soul and I will never forget it even though I'm pissed off at SM but I do have to too thank her for making me feel like a woman all over again and I have no idea what I was doing before Twilight came into my life all I know is it was sheer desperation because I had finshed the last HP book and I was really desperate too read something and right in front of me was Twilight I read what it was about and after that the rest is history and when Rob/Edward walked thru the cafeteria it was as if time stood still and nothing else mattered <3

Gozde said...

Words cannot describe how EPIC this movie is!!!!!

Gozde said...

that was beautifully said thank you! I can't wait too see the arm wrestling and Jacob revealing his true ID too Charlie and Charlie practically shitting his pants in fear and just too see that will be priceless! ha ha ha ha ha ha!!

Gozde said...

oh I can't wait well in the book he calls Jacob his brother and son and I sobbed so hard when I read that it was amazing please I have not seen it yet so don't give anything away ya all are as bad as Rob LOL!!

Gozde said...

I can't wait tomorrow is the day!!! tonight is the midnight showing but I won't be going too that but I will be going tomorrow :)

Gozde said...

I am just back from seeing it twice in a row... and I cried the 2 times. It was so emotional to me.
daddyward. oh my GOSH! so cute when he show his daughter to Charlie. And Kristen dont know how to hold a baby. I heard her say that in some interview and I saw it too.lol

and of course I would want more sex scenes from Edward and Bella. lol
The only one was not enough.
I think they could use more vampire force on that sex scene if you knwo what I mean...but it was very good. I just made this as a remark ...I liked the scene..it was very sexy.

and the battle was really epic. I never like the idea of battles in these films but they have put it as Alice's vision and it worked very well. kuddos to BC.

In the second session everyone applauded when Aro lost his head...lol... and right after that when they show that it was a vision everyone like '' awwwww'' and ''ohhhhh'''....everyone liked the volturi's death and wanted it to be real.lol
I intend to go again this weekend, but I am not sure when and how many times yet.
xoxo

Gozde said...

I saw it last night and I loved it. Some moments were so funny, some corny but overall it was a really sweet great way to end the Saga. Daddyward was amazing, Bella was a good vampire, I found them to all look a bit ridiculous they were more natural but still vampire looking in Twilight. For some reason the thing that sticks with me was Aro's laugh towards the end about Renesmee, I can't get it outta my head hahha. But I'll see it again cause no doubt I missed parts being all anxious, nervous, excited etc :)

Gozde said...

Don’t sweat it hon. Everything washes up happy ;)

Gozde said...

i just got home after the marathon that totally whizzed by, 11 hours in the cinema, really? I'm sure they drugged me and just showed clips. loved it all, But the final film was over so quick, not because it was short but because I was sucked in! the twist was just traumatic, i am having a little drinkie now, but was nearly in tears at the first part, and my mates jumper is ruined where i kept grabbing her... Will be going to see it again!

Gozde said...

Just in from the Marathon, time went by quicker than I thought and DH survived lol Thoroughly enjoyed watching all the films on the big screen BD2 was excellent and loved when everyone gasped. Rob was brilliant as usual and totally nailed the comedy parts :). Vampire sex scenes were soooo good !!!!!!!!!
We did have the event spoilt when the projector overheated and the film went off just as they were introducing Renesme to Aro !!!! it took 20 minutes to fix. Got tickets booked to see it again on Tuesday so hopefully no glitches !!

Gozde said...

OMG!!!! I don't know where to start and IF I start where would I finish?? I'm still at the WOW stage at the moment. I just sat 12 hours in a cinema and after BD2 would happily go back in again.

I went in ROBsessed but I can't honestly say what I came out!! I have wanted for so long to see Rob do comedy....this was a wish come true. The first half hour of the film was so funny and Rob was so in his element it was a joy to watch. The film continued to have comedic elements throughout and it was sooooo nice to see a smiley, laughing Rob, I just wish there had been more. Rob knows how to deliver a line and just the expression on his face a few of the times was enough WOW!!! Taylor and Kellan both had some truly funny moments too, particularly when Bella was taking on Jacob and Rob was getting shocked by Kate but these also included Rob!! The funny moments of this film made it for me.

Yes, I laughed a lot and Yes I cried a couple of times too.

The battle scene - I sat straight up in my chair with my hand over my mouth!!!!! OMG when Carlisle's head was torn off I could have screamed out lout (not my style at all) My daughter said 'is this a dream or what?' The carnage continued and far from feeling let down that in 'Dallas' style it WAS all I dream I was immensely glad it hadn't happened!!

I CANNOT wait to see it again. Twilight or not, it is the best film I have seen for ages!

How Rob could go up in my opinion of him I'm not quite sure, but go up he did by a long long long long way LOL

WOW!!

Gozde said...

Oh my GOODNESS! Just got home from the marathon screening and although it's gone 3 in the morning I am so wide awake with adrenaline! I wasn't expecting that! No wonder Rob wanted to wait and watch it with an audience and see their reaction. If the crowd reaction in LA was anything like the one in my cinema tonight, it must have been amazing for him. I think it's gonna take me a while to get to sleep tonight/this morning!

Gozde said...

I am SO looking forward to "Breaking Dawn - Directors Cut", 'cause we have to have one, right?

I really think BD 1+2 would be great as one long film. I loved BD1, and overall BD2 was great, but I was annoyed at some things. For example CGI Renesmee, and the fact that the movie felt very rushed at some pionts. And many tender moments had the PG13-problem of not being saucy enough. But "the twist" was well executed, even if it was somewhat predictable... Lets hope for a R-rated DVD ;-)

Gozde said...

i think its the best movie off the saga, its amazing, every scence is great, they've done it perfectly i obviously would've like to see more vamp sex and other scenes lol but every detail of it was really pretty, its like if the movie was made for fans to remember the past 4 years and to tell us that we souoldn't forget, and i won't
great movie
great actors
robert is ucking great, handsom, his acting is even better i have no idea how he does it
kristen is beautiful
i cried, laughed, surprised, and felt relieved

annndddd when all the fight starteed i made a guess and it was correct! i kneewwww it was alice i kneww it!! and i felt so proud of myself for trusting in Bill Condon and everyone
i'm sad, but i think it ended perfectly
and finally, i loved the last scence, dialogue EVERYTHING of the last part, just perfect

Gozde said...

I'm crying right now. Crying. I just got home from seeing it. Wow. Best one in my opinion. I'm mind blown. I can barely even form a coherent thought enough to type my reaction out, but I just could not wait.

When the battle started and Carlisle died, and then Jasper died, and Seth and Leah....but first when Carlisle died- I could not even believe what happened. And then I couldn't even keep up, keep track of the carnage. I was beside myself at this point lol- when Edward almost died I very nearly had heart failure.

And when we find out it was all Alice's vision....I was so relieved. I thought that was genius, afterwards. I mean, no battle ever happened in the book, this way was so much better for a movie.
And the rest of the movie was perfect, of course. When Edward said he undresses Bella so much better I almost became a puddle of the floor. I laughed at the part where Bella practices using her shield. I swooned when Edward picked up Renesmee.

And then there was the ending. It was...beautiful. All their moments, throughout this whole journey, and Edward can finally see it through her eyes. I quite liked when Alice had the vision of how things would be with Renesmee and Jacob, Edward and Bella, living happily together, and Edward seeing her vision in her thoughts. It was very sweet. And I loved how they showed the last page of the final book to end it all.

I honestly can't believe its over. The Twilight Saga started when I was in the 8th grade, and now I'm a senior in high school. Its been a big part of my life. And it brought me to Rob. Which is what makes the whole thing so special.

Just got back from doing the marathon and BD2. Epic. Left me wanting more and more yet satisfied in a good way. Condon nailed it. Wish he could have dressed out more of the little stuff, but then it would have been a marathon on it's own. Loved Blissward!! Laughing and happy and animated. Such a change in him as Daddyward. Kristen owned Vampella. Even Jacob was quite tolerable and in his place finally. Can't wait to go see it again a bazillion times. I'm not gonna spoil it for peeps, but gawd there were so many good parts. And Robward was just gorgeous to look at. Le Sigh

Gozde said...

Leah what are ya doin' on the spoiler page gurl?!

Gozde said...

I just got in from the 10:00 show and want to pass on my thoughts. I'm not going to put in spoilers because I think that it ruins it if you know what's coming. The movie was the best! Bill Condon and the actors all deserve kudos for a job well done- a fitting end to the Saga that is like a rollercoaster ride. I enjoyed it even though I'm spent from watching it. (when you see it, you 'll know what I mean). Every fan should get out there and see this film. It's wonderful.

Gozde said...

Agree with you Aussiegirl, Twilight is all about Edward and Bella's love story, all the rest I could skip!!! And then for me it became all about Rob.
I did enjoy the movie though as I knew it would be based on the book with all it's crazy stuff, so I had no expectations about the storyline and I think Bill C did a good job.

Gozde said...

Just got home from the marathon and this the first place I had to come.... knowing the spoiler post was here before I left this morning took all of my willpower but I am so thankful I abstained. BD2 was just amazing. I was physically shaking after the battle started with Carlisle's head. I shrieked and covered my eyes. I feel like I need to watch again because I spent so much time with my hands on my face and looking back and forth between my friends saying "this can NOT be real" and thank goodness it wasn't, I agree with the other posters that the only thing I didn't like was the CGI with Renesmee's face. That was terribly done. The ending with the meadow was perfect and when they showed Rob in the credits the whole audience erupted. Not so much with Kristen....... Can't wait to see it again!!

Gozde said...

No Spoilers Here! I am going to try to keep this simple: Steph Meyer is a genius. Bill Condon is a genius. I've always been able to look past any silliness in the Twilight movies, but for this one it was particularly easy. There was so much emotion to be felt. The reaction from the audience was unlike anything I have ever witnessed - and that alone was heart wrenching and just intensified the tears already streaming down my face. Saying this film was 'epic' -- to me -- is an understatement, and 'forever' really is the best word to sum it up. I went to the marathon at my local theatre, and after seeing them all consecutively made me realize that this is what going to the cinema is all about. Films that provoke emotion and make you feel a part of the story is why the actors and directors work so hard at what they do. For me, the Twilight films were successful with this every time. And for something that has been so perfect every time - and then actually feel complete in the end, is an art. Hats off to everyone involved.

Gozde said...

I just got back from the 10 PM show tonight. That was sooooooo awesome!!!!!!!!! SPOILERS ------ I just about died when Carlisle's head came off. The whole theatre screamed.Everybody kept dying and I kept thinking this can't be right. We all screamed again when they showed it was just Alice's vision!!!! Loved the meadow scene at the end with the flashbacks!!!!!!! That was perfect!!!! and highlighting forever! I'm going again Sunday afternoon, and I can't wait! Have to work tomorrow, so I must go to bed and can't read everyone's reactions. I'll read them all tomorrow. Loved it!!!!!!!!

Gozde said...

I also just got home from the marathon and had to give my views. Loved the film. Thank you Bill Condon. The whole big battle had me screaming- just like others had said. I wasn't so much into the fandom when I read the books for the first time, but I do remember how there were critics of this book, and now I can see why. The ending was handled very well and much better than in the book. I agree- the baby and youngest Renessme was kind of creepy, but she grew into the beautiful Mackenzie Foy. I do love the scene where Bella "confronts" Jacob about the imprinting- wonderful, except for Seth getting hurt. Hilarious scene with Jacob and Charlie. Cried during probably the last 45 minutes, with the battle scene, and the loving meadow scene, especially since I just had rewatched all the films with the marathon- and their whole love story. Of course the love scenes in the cottage were beautiful and very sensual. I thought all the actors really did a great job in this one. The transformation of humanBella to vampBella was done terrifically by Kristin. And of course Rob did a great job at becoming a patriarch of his family. After seeing the marathon, I do want to say that he really should have gotten some acting recognition for BD1. He was so good in that. The scene where Edward yells at Bella for not including him in her decision to go on with the pregnancy- damn so good.

Ok- I think I'm finally winding down. Can't wait to see it again.

Gozde said...

AMAZING* Loved every minute* Edward looked absolutely gorgeous in.every.scene. They all looked fabulous. Jasper for one has never looked so good in all the other movies (but for the flashback in BD pt1). Only love and more love for BD pt2

Gozde said...

Ummm we are talking about our Leah right?? She's a nosey parker!!...lol
Have you seen the movie?...
ps... Leah nick off and wait for the movie, you will love it x

Gozde said...

you will love the final instalment Leah... can't wait to hear your review...x

Gozde said...

Just got back....people in my theatre screamed at the part with Carlisle. I was in shock and started ugly crying with Seth. It was like punch, kick, throat punch, stab, punch. Well played SM and Co.

Gozde said...

I was wondering that too... i don't think it really "touched" me ilke the songs did in BD1

Gozde said...

I just saw it. The Battle scene :OMG was soooo surprised.
Loved the flashback at the end, it was cute and sad cuz we know it's over :(

Gozde said...

The crowd reaction in LA was over crazy. Can't hear anything, just screaming and yelling. Popcorn flying everywhere. It was overwhelming.

Gozde said...

The movie was so short that i would have wanted another sex scene also !!!!!!!!!, and more time with the real Mackenzie Foy as Renesmee, especially with Rob. I was hoping the piano scene would be longer.

Gozde said...

Saw it tonight and ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT!

Gozde said...

I didn't see him... but will look the next time I go to see the movie, Thanks sooooo much for telling us this !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :-}

Gozde said...

My thoughts about the movie: (**SPOILER**)

1. When Edward said I love you to Bella when she first woke up as a new born. - Wow. THAT is the way one says I LOVE YOU

2. Rob being cute and funny (Kate using Edward to motivate Bella to project the shield). - That was Rob more than Edward I think

3. Garett and Kate - Totally shipping this

4. Sex scene and dialogue
E:"Rose and Emmett were so bad it took us centuries before we can be with them"
B: I think we're worse
E; "Definitely worse"
eeeeeeeep!!!!!!!!!!!
5. In the cabin: B:" I think I can remember how to undress myself" E:"Yeah I know.. I just do it so much better" - I think I blushed. Actually blushed. And I'm anemic
6. Battle scene - Here goes:
Aro held Carlisle's head: (me) Gasp! my mind went blank
series of killings and battles: (me) panting, stuttering incoherent profanities - what the? are you serious? What? like fuck? no shit? huh? fuck? wait. waiiiit. fu? huh? you're kidding me! this is... fuck! what?!
Edward's head being slowly torn by Aro, his mouth slowly ripping: (me) OH NO MOTHERFUCKING WAY!!! I actually shouted
Realizing that it was a vision: (me) aaaaaargggh!!! it was a combination of heavy relieved sigh (i didn't know I held my breath the entire time) + laughter + groaning + awe + tears
7. When Bella removed the shield to show Edward her thoughts: (Me) just tears. Silent tears while smiling and nodding seeing the summary of this whole craziness and the parade of all the years I have loved the both of them.

Watching Edward and Bella's journey through Bella's thought BUT saw Rob and Kristen's journey and all the obstacles and love they have been through all this years instead.

8. Credits: Showing the actual pages of Twilight books matching the description of characters (Me) took me back to when I first open the pages of Twilight, when I fell in love with a man named Edward Cullen :)

Gozde said...

Nothing more to say then epic, awesome, beautifully filmed and incredibly well acted - especially Kristen who raised her game ten-fold. Rob looked amazing and played the role of proud husband and protective father magnificently. Fantastic and worth the wait.

Gozde said...

I am so happy for you Maria and it heightens my anticipation.... alas I have to wait another week :(

Gozde said...

Great minds again :-) I'm just having a quick peek before rushing to get dog out before I leave for work - pushing my lick a little here :-) Finally went to sleep at about 4.20 and it's now 7.20!!!
It will be worth the wait I promise you!!
I wasn't expecting anything great - maybe that helped? - but was going for the end of an era/it's an event ride. I was pleasantly surprised.
I will try to do a proper follow up of everything I missed last night when I get in from work tonight. I hope you will let me know where I should look for anything NOT to be missed :-)

Gozde said...

I just saw the movie, it was beyond good. I handled the end better than I thought I would just a few tears....but my life has been irrevocably changed by a vampire.....I will miss Edward for sure.

Gozde said...

Just got back from the marathon only sat thru the last three cuz at work for the first two. I LOVED IT!!!!! Bill Condon nailed Breaking Dawn, best adaptation to the book!! Can't wait to go back and see it, hoping for Sunday.

Gozde said...

Definitely look for the Interviews he did in London and the spanish talk show was great too although we can only guess what the are saying.... Have a good day despite your lack of sleep :)

Gozde said...

Just home from the marathon and WOW, triple WOW. Nice job Bill Condon for giving us all something to talk about and Rob was great, as usual. It was really an experience watching all 5 in a row and seeing the evolution fo Edward. But, boy am I exhausted, happily exhausted!

Gozde said...

I'm a senior in high school now too! Really makes you realize how fast time has flown right?!

Gozde said...

I am so proud to be a Twilight fan. I am one of the rare fans of this crazy book, and to me this movie, Breaking Dawn part 2, was indescribably perfect. My mind is still processing it and tears are still running. I was the last to leave the theater, I didn't want the moment to end. But I know in my heart it will never "end" because I have met all these amazing ladies thanks to the saga and we will hopefully remember and cherish it forever♥

Thank you Stephenie Meyer, Bill Condon, and the entire amazing cast. An even bigger thanks to the lovely Kristen Stewart, the perfect and only Bella. To Mr. Robert Pattinson, I can never thank this man enough. He brought my Edward Cullen to life and then some. I'm proud to be his fan and will continue to be for rest of his career because, as Bella said "It's always been him." It will always and forever be him ♥♥

I just spent 12 hours in the theater watching all 5 films. It's amazing to see them all together & see
how the actors have grown over the years. There is definitely a big difference
between Twilight, which will always hold a special place in my heart, and the
final film. I loved BD2. It was everything I could have ever hoped for in a
finale, especially the final scene with Bella and Edward. Other than it being
in the meadow, which was where that scene should have
always been, it was exactly how I imagined it when I first read it. Twilight
got it's start in that meadow, it's only fitting we say goodbye to Edward and
Bella there. Hard to believe it's over. I left the movie tonight wishing there
was more to see, yet feeling completely satisfied with the end. The only thing more I could have wished for was music from Rob. I think having those two songs in the original movie helped to make it so special. It's going to be strange not having another movie to look forward to or another premiere/press junket to
watch. It seems like just yesterday I was going to see Twilight on it's opening
day & then waiting all weekend to see if Summit was going to go through
with the other films. I still have the letter from Rob and Kristen thanking
fans & letting them know that New Moon would be coming soon. Time sure does
fly. I thought the tribute to the other actors that have participated in the
Saga throughout the years along with incorporating the actual written pages of
the novel especially touching as well. Forever seems to be an appropriate last
word. Through Stephenie's marvelous books, the films, and the wonderful
portrayals by Rob, Kristen,Taylor & everyone else we'll always be able to
go back to Forks for a visit. A special thank you to Catherine Hardwick for the
choices she made while casting for Twilight. Her choices helped shape what
the Twilight Saga was to become. Without her I'd likely never have been introduced to
the work of the amazing Robert Pattinson.

Gozde said...

I agree! Even just reliving it makes my heart squeeze, my sister isn't the biggest Twilight fan but even she was grabbing my arm like there was no tomorrow!! lol

Gozde said...

I'm crying just reading your comment...I am in Awe of Kristen Stewart in this final movie,I know this is a ROB fansite,I've been coming here for the past 4yrs but this movie is seen through Bella's eyes,it's her story...I loved this movie,it's fantastic,Thank you Bill Condon for your vision.I've sen the movie twice and I will not or cannot get enough of it.I loved every scene between Edward and Bella,so sensual,so moving, their LOVE is EPIC and there's no other couple out there with the same chemistry as Rob and Kristen...You ladies that are yet to see it take alot of tissues...I went with 3 of my daughters,we laughed, cried, screamed hysterically,we oooohhhhed and aaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhed and just simply sat there crying our eyes out BUT we loved it and that's what matters....Go and LOVE it for Rob and for Kristen and one more thing, this promotime has brought out everything I've loved,EPIC ROB and KRISTEN....

Gozde said...

Whoever the jerk was who posted a comment here about six months ago that the fight scene was just one of Alice's visions, thank you for ruining the movie for me.

Gozde said...

Totally agree Aussiegirl. Loved the movie but for me it was all about Rob. And as I've said before I only got hooked on Twilight because of Rob.

Gozde said...

Leah, breathe, calm down, relax. Breathe in Rob, breathe out Breaking Dawn. Go to the movies and enjoy. I'm sure you will. xx

Gozde said...

No, SingleRob, can't tell you the surprise ending because it will truely spoil the movie for you. Trust me on this.

Gozde said...

Unanimous reaction from people who have seen it: (insert curse words) + a lot of exclamation marks + "I can't wait to see it again".

Gozde said...

When I went to see it, at that very point in question everyone in the cinema made that 'oh no sign' we gasped held out breaths and looked on in disbelief then erupted with laughter and applause at the appropriate moment. I tell you what, I just couldn't believe it and I was ready to yell out a big NO. But it was great.

Gozde said...

I know my heart jumped to my throat.

Gozde said...

Oh my God, the perfect reason for me to see it again. How wonderful thanks xx

Gozde said...

Agree, didn't likeThe Host at all.

Gozde said...

Best that you enjoy the surprise. I'm sure it will freak you out.

Gozde said...

It really had shock factor. I thought the twist was going to be that they had killed Aro, based on Bill's comment at the LA premiere, but never did I imagine they would do that. I have seen so many clips of the film as well, I didn't think there was much more to see. I hated seeing Carlisle and Jasper's heads being ripped off........ I still think about the how I felt and it really shook me to my bones I was seething/horrified/devastated all at the same time......I have read all the books "several" times and this was way out of the ball park for me....That's the beauty of cinema.......love it!!!

Gozde said...

I've seen the film twice today (in New Zealand). Both times the theatre was a lot fuller than for any movie I've been to in years. I had not read the second half of Breaking Dawn, and it sounded like most of the other people in the audience hadn't either. Both times there was a very audible response from the audience when the twist was revealed. After the second session there was some applause at the end which is pretty rare here - I think I've only ever heard that once before at a movie.
I absolutely LOVED the movie! The humour, seeing Bella learning about being a vampire, Edward as a father (especially when he was holding R. & smiling at her/talking with her when Bella was looking on sadly knowing that they'd have to send her away), and the battle.
OMG - I think I was in shock - I had no idea what was coming! When C was beheaded I was desperately thinking he'll be OK - they can put him back together again, but nooooo! I was soooo happy about the twist.
Now that I've seen the movie I get to read the second half of the book. I'm looking forward to reading it, reading about any extra bits that were missed from the movie, and seeing what changes were made.

Gozde said...

I am loving everyone's passionate comments about the movie, as you said this is what brought us ROB, it is the one thing we all have in common, adoring the beautiful thing that he is....hope you have stopped crying now, I felt very sad that the 'journey' was finally coming to an end also.. *sending cyber hugs* =)

Gozde said...

Leah have you seen it now? Hoping you have so you can see the ending is not so bad. I was telling my sister how I saw it and that there is a twist whilst trying not to spoil it for her and she was like "if anyone hurts the Cullens I will be sooooo pissed" I was just saying GO SEE IT, GO SEE IT =)

Gozde said...

Nicely said =)

Gozde said...

i have not seen it but i had an idea of then end anyway - can anyone tell me if nikki reed was right about some dance scene - was that at the end? or will it be in the DVD?

Gozde said...

Its not at the end so hopefully on the DVD :)

Gozde said...

I went to see the Twilight Marathon last night in Nottingham Showcase, UK, with my good friend Laura (a recent convert to the Saga). We had Premiere seating and so we could stretch out and enjoy all those hours! I can honestly say it was an amazing experience, seeing the movies up on the big screen again - the time just flew by.

I'm feeling jetlagged, it's lunchtime Friday now, and I'm only just coming back to life! Couldn't get to sleep for hours, with all the adrenaline and emotion in my body. It was exhausting but I'm so glad I did it - something I probably won't ever experience again and I'll treasure the memory.

I absolutely LOVED Breaking Dawn 2 - it was beautifully shot, covered most things in the book, the acting from everyone was superb - it was top class production - huge thanks to Bill Condon and his crew! Kristen, Rob and Taylor were superb. Charlie was hilarious, and all the new vampires were amazing too. Loved the first scenes where Bella was testing out her newborn skills. The sex scene was - wow! The battle was incredible - Michael Sheen was terrifying as Aro in this one! Laura and I were screaming and crying when the Cullens started being killed - how could our beloved Cullen family survive the loss of Carlisle and Jasper? When the twist was revealed, the crowd went ape sh*t with relief. Final scenes very emotional and beautiful. I loved the credits, showing each and every actor who has been in the Saga, and blew Edward a very special private and love-filled kiss. Consider me officially blown away xxxxxx

Gozde said...

I saw it last night. My thoughts 1.They gave Edward his due in this film better than any of the others 2. It's bitter sweet because is the end of the Saga but Rob needs to be free to do other characters 3. The battle was fantastic an I enjoyed, loved it. 4. I gasped and screamed during the battle it was really intense. All in all I loved the movie and the last scene was very close to what happened in the book. I'll go tonight to see it again. I'll love Edward FOREVER.

Gozde said...

ditto!

Gozde said...

I am a fan of this final book too. The first time I read it was a little difficult but then I reread it and started to get all the flavors in the book and really liked it. The movie touches in the must important parts of the book and feels like BC respected the fans and Edward's character.

Gozde said...

DITTO!

Gozde said...

Hi, Dra the movie is really fantastic, I think Bill Condon nailed the emotions of the fans and it is so sweet. I didn't want it to end.

Gozde said...

Watched the Marathon last night with a theater full of women and more men than I expected. I was more sad by the beginning of BD2 than I expected. As the Greenday song on the soundtrack says, "Where did the time go?"

Breaking Dawn 2 went too fast. Don't get me wrong, I loved it, even though I think it gave too much prominence to Jacob, but then, so does the book. For me it's always been about Edward and Bella. Everything else is just that, everything else. I enjoyed how the movie gave Edward more importance than the book did. The most improbable scene to me was when Edward tries to take Bella's clothes off and it amounts to nothing. I can't see that happening.

As for the ending, I've never been in a theater watching a Twilight movie, and God knows I've done that a lot, where the audience had more fun. People were screaming. It was like I was watching a horror movie.

Given the source material, I think they hit it out of the ballpark. I will go back to see it repeatedly; to see Edward and watch the fan reaction.

So, now it's morning and I'm sitting here wanting this to continue, but it's over. I am more sad than I expected. It's been a great ride.........forever.

Gozde said...

No, there is not and I waited for all the credits and they are long.

Gozde said...

Watched the movie twice yesterday. Going again Tuesday. Loved the whole movie. Rob was just amazing and everyone did a fantastic job. I laughed blushed and cried. I know look forward in anticipation for Rob's new movies. So proud.

Gozde said...

Agree with you for me it's Edward and will be Edward FOREVER. I loved the movie and I think that BC is genius. Thanks to the saga we found Rob and I'm not interested in any other Twilight movie. Waiting Rob's long and beautiful carrer!

Gozde said...

Aussiegirl, good to see you again. "I love that this saga brought the incredible talent, quirkiness and beauty of Robert Pattinson to my attention. I love that it has been wrapped up in a very neat and FINAL bow." Yes, that's about it. Condon's twist was quite clever. I also liked that they matched pictures with actor's names at the end to give them as much recognition as possible - a lot of this new cast was quite good, especially Lee Pace, Judith Shekoni and Joe Anderson.

Gozde said...

Rob just knows how to play a man in love doesn't he? Everything about Edward was perfection. His looks, his laughs, his lines, his warbobe. All so wonderful.

I absolutely LOVED the movie. All the vampires coming in was a little bit boring, but overall, I loved it and thought it was a fitting end to the saga. I totally agree with Aussiegirl about the last book and especially the ending being a total let down. But Bill Condon and Melissa Rosenberg did a wonderful job making something out of nothing.

I like many others did a loud gasp when Carlise was beheaded and burned. I think my mouth hung open until Jasper suffered the same fate. And then to see it was Alice's vision? I actully said aloud "THAT'S SOME BULLSHIT!" I was angry and relieved at the same time. I was sympathizing with wolves for Christs sake!

Kristen doesn't play mad very well. I laughed out loud a few times at her performance. She and Taylor's scene in the beginning wasn't believable. I'm giggling right now thinking about her yelling at him. But they did have some nice moments together like the scene in the car when they were talking about the creepy vamps. Taylor has a GREAT laugh.

And speaking of creepy, what was up with that baby? I will never be cool with that. Ever!

Can't wait to see it again Saturday.

Gozde said...

I agree about Rob and Breaking Dawn 1. MTV skewered the awards this year so that they wern't even nominated and I thought it was his best performance, especially when he thought he was losing her. I like Josh Hutcherson and Hunger Games, but Rob deserved that Best Actor award.

Gozde said...

Holy crap! That was just amazing! I loved the twist and me and my niece gasped and screamed out loud. Totally didn't expect that and totally loved everyone's reactions. I thought baby Renesesmee was slightly freaky, but other than that, I thought the effects were great. I have to go see it again.

Gozde said...

Have fun leah, your going to love it!

Gozde said...

Just saw the movie a few hours ago. I don't have any words to describe my feelings at this stage.. Amazement, awe, shock, overwhelmed, in love with Edward all over again... the list goes on and on. I just have to give a big thumbs up to Bill, Melissa and Stephenie, as well as ALL the actors involved.. thank you for bringing our beloved saga to life, you all took my breath away today! As always, there were a few things I didn't agree with/like, but that is normal for any movie I suppose (like the horrible CGI effects for Renesmee, a real baby would have perhaps worked better? and the fact that Alice is suddenly able to see the wolves in her vision, with them in the vicinity which usually affects her ability to see the future?) But those are really minor things, the movie was FANTASTIC all around. Rob, Kristen and Taylor really all nailed their performances, and I LOVED the new vampires as well. The twist was AWESOME, and I am actually ashamed to say that I fell for it!! Me, who has read the books like a hundred times! But such is the brilliance of Mr. Condon, Melissa and Stephenie for coming up with that one!! Loved the music and special effects.. I had hoped to see a little bit more in the beginning of the film such as the private moments with Bella, Edward and Renesmee, and more of the vampire training.. Also I loved Siobhan in the book, and felt she could have been featured a little bit more?? Hoped the sex scene would have been more, uhmm.. in detail (*blushes*).. But the ending was stunning and a wonderful and endearing way to end what has been an amazing 5 year journey for so many of us.. I will always fondly remember Twilight, it really meant a lot to me. As the end of the movie said.. FOREVER! P.S have I mentioned how great Rob was in this movie???

Gozde said...

Have fun! I am going on Monday! I cannot wait :-)

Gozde said...

I saw the movie last night and still cant get.it out of my head! I loooooved it so much! Rob was wonderful and Kristin did great! My bestie, who does not like Kristin s acting very much thought she did really great too :)The battle scene man I thought I was going to have a heart attack, I was freaking out! I literally screamed aloud when Aro had Edward at the neck and I never do that!Everbody in the theater was going bonkers lol and we all laughed and sighed when it was Alice's vision. They fooled us all lol! The only thing was the cgi face of Renesmee oh and Aros crazy laugh at meeting her lol! Everybody laughed at that and probably thought wth!? But I guess thats his character. Other than those little things the movie was fantastic. Everybody did great, Bill Condon did an excellent job! I think this one might be my favorite or a really really close tie with TWILIGHT. Oh and the very end where Bella shows Edward her thoughts oh I absolutely loved it aw. Cant believe its the last movie!

Gozde said...

Okay, yesterday was the best day. My friends and I watched the marathon. Seeing Twilight on the big screen for my first time was so amazing. We had a great time, shared our favorite scenes and music in each movie. Apparently, although I am the most vocal Rob fan, everyone screamed when Edward came on the screen. He's a global phenomenon. Enough said.

The final installment was a roller coaster. We were all in shock when Carlisle's head was decapitated. We held hands and screamed the entire sequence. So entertaining. I'm definitely going to see it again!

Gozde said...

Lol yeah I've seen it and yeah Leah you will love it

Gozde said...

It really does, and its very strange thinking that its over. Since before we were even in high school..it really flew by

Gozde said...

*cyber hugs back* It's bittersweet because we all know Rob has a very good career ahead of him, but Twilight will just have a special place in my heart

Gozde said...

I did the entire marathon yesterday and I'm so thankful that I did. OK here goes:

THIS MOVIE WAS SOOOOO GOOOODDDD!! I've been an insane twilight fan for 4 years now. How surreal that the last movie is out! I will never say goodbye to this though...I refuse to. I don't see it as goodbye =)

I thought the movie moved sort of fast but I understand why it had to be that way. Bella waking up as a vampire was amazing but I would have liked seeing more through her new eyes. The hunt was great and vampire Bella is really graceful. Edward smiling at Bella while she was beating the shit outta Jacob made my stomach hurt from laughing so much lol. Poor Seth...aww. I really enjoyed the interaction between Jacob and Renesmee. I never thought that it would be portrayed in a sexual manner at all, and I was disappointed that so many people perverted it that way. Emmett's jokes were hilarious. "You're done already" lol. I think there would have been time enough in the movie to put in the interaction between Jacob and Rosalie, I really would have loved to have seen the dog food bowl scene. The arm wrestling and Bella having fun chopping the rock to death made me smile. Her shining in the sun was poetic.

I could have done with more cottage sex...just sayin lol.

Can I just say that Charlie melts my heart throughout the entire series. The scene with him and Jacob cracked me up lol. The talk with Charlie and Bella was spot on. LOVED IT.

The transition into the second half of part 2 where they're preparing for the Volturi to arrive went so quickly. I would have liked to have seen a moment where Bella and Edward stared at each other. Their way of staying connected and taking possibly a last time in their lives to appreciate one another. That part in the book was beautiful and I thought it deserved to be in the movie.

Ahh the battle scene. I WAS BOILING MAD when Carlisle died. OMG I was seriously about to go insane when I thought that was how the movie was going to end. Seeing red doesn't even describe what I felt. Then the twist...sweet relief. lol. Bella's shield was portrayed amazingly. Really good job!!!!

The final meadow. Everything I wanted and needed it to be. PERFECT.

I bawled like a fan-girl at the end of the movie. What a completeness I feel though. I won't go into detail but Twilight truly saved my life. I was in a really bad spot for a while a few years back. Reading Twilight gave me life and excitement, even though that may sound ridiculous. In it's most simplistic form, Twilight is about raw honest love. The way Edward loves Bella, and she to him, regardless of the supernatural, is a lesson we all should learn. I will forever and always cherish this saga.

Love it!! Talk about taking us through a roller coaster of emotions!!! I did figure out what was going on with the fight scene almost immediately, but I thought that twist was very necessary to 'spice' that part up a bit! I found the second half of the book to be incredibly boring...the movie was anything but!! Very very pleased, it ended perfectly, and I'm so so sad to see it end!!

I didn't just see the last film last night but also all the others during a marathon. It was an absolute emotional day, and B.D.2 was quite exciting, surprising, and great! When the fight at the end started, I at first was angry cuz we all know that in the book it never even begins. After the mess of that scene was over, and I found out Alice was just showing Aro that could happen. Most everyone around me was laughing, while I was surprised and angry! Overall the movie turned out to be promising with the book. I just wish it could've been two hours like the rest. Good job Bill Condon, and all the people behind the scenes/cast. I'll miss it all :(

Currently Rob´s german voice is interviewed and he said that Rob likes his voice..... Rob is such a polite guy;))))
The male moderator seems quite mocking about everything...

Not sure where I read or saw someone mention the vamp dance would follow the credits, but after sitting thru 7 more minutes of random names with a bunch of other moviegoers who heard the same thing...it isn't there folks! Gotta' wait for the DVD, I guess. BTW the montage credits showing all the players back to the first film was seriously classy...stay for that, then you can run to the restroom. lol

I already shared somewhere here. :) If you see a very long a$$ reaction/comment in this thread, that's mine. lol I had a pretty fine movie-viewing experience, not so crowded because it was during the day, but the seats were still filled up. Was planning to watch it alone, but good thing a friend accompanied me on the last minute. At least I had someone support me when I was a blubbering, emotional mess. =)) I loved the movie so much, all of it. It's nice to hear that the saga brought you(and your bff) closer to each other. I agree with your bff regarding that separation anxiety shizz, 'cause my goodness, I've seen the movie again and I still cried like a baby and stayed 'til the credits end. lol
But seriously, it's really bittersweet. I'm really glad to Twilight for being part of my life, for introducing me to Rob. In my heart it shalll live forever, as well as him. :)

I am trying to be partial and unbiased on giving out my thoughts or reviews about the movie. But who am I kidding?! Of course I would be partial and biased since I am Team Edward all the way! I was even wearing a shirt with his whole face in it! LOL. Anyway, like I told my friends in facebook, this is by far, the funniest, the most shocking, the best movie of the Saga. The visual effects of Alec's gift and Bella's are very impressive. My respect to Bill Condon went up a notch. He is genius. He took boring parts of the book and made it interesting to watch. The freaky baby/toddler Renesmee though was the weird part of the movie. The end was the most riveting, climactic part of the whole 5 movies (I was in the marathon). I've never screamed, got upset, cried, angry, clapped and stood, and felt relief, happening at the same time in any 15-minutes of my entire life. I left the theater very satisfied. I still was talking and thinking about it for another 2 hours with my husband. I am watching it again this afternoon with my entire family and would not have the chance to salivate on Edward. I did wish his looks was still the 1st Twilight, instead of the 29-something-dad look a like that they made him out to be.

BC knew the book is told through Bella's eyes but really gave Edward the daddy and leadership role in this movie .It was a wonderful way to equalize Bella and Edward for the final book ... and that SEX scene was soooooooo sensual , OMG, OMG, OMG !!!!!!!!!!! and again the final scene when she declares how much she loves him and he states that her love is only topped by one, his ....ahhhh........ ( hearts pounding) ...TRUE LOVE FOREVER

THERE ARE NO WORDS!!!! Except thank you Bill, Stephenie,Robert, Kristen, Taylor, Peter, Jackson, Elizabeth, Ashley, Nickki, Kellen, Wyck, Billy, Boo Boo, Gil..............OK there is no way I can remember everyone.
Thanks for all the joy you have brought into this "seniors" life. I turned 68 on 11/16.
This movie is outstanding!!!!! A perfect ending to a beautiful love story.
The imagination and ingenuity you brought to the big screen is amazing. The audience reaction was heartwarming and thrilling. It has been many years since I have heard people clapping, crying and loud cheering when the "bad guy" get's his!!! (sorry Jane & Aro)
Rob & Kristen & Peter & all the Cullens & Taylor & all the wolf pack & all the new vampire covens...........being the good guys and getting loud cheers for all the good they do against evil...........what a thrill to hear and feel the emotions of everyone watching.............. Also looks like the box office reflecks how we all feel.
I went to the premier movie showing and came home and even with "jet lag" I attended the "Twilight Midnight Marathon."

I went to the LA "BD2" premier. Hoping to just get a glimpse of these wonderful actors and all involved with this "Twilight Saga." Had one hope, two checks off my "bucket list," that I might be able to get a picture with Robert and slip him a "St.Christopher" medal to keep him safe in all he & Kristen's travels.
Through the grace of God. I got both. Thanks for everything.

Oh My Effing Word! Nothing could prepare me for the twist...even though I had read the reviews...Did think the movie was too short and would have loved to see more scenes between Bella_Edward_Renesmee as well as Bella developing her powers .... HOWEVER, absolutely loved it <3

Gozde said...

Normally I wouldn't look at spoilers, but I was so freaked by the one trailer that showed Edward in peril, I thought I'd better. I'm an older fan of Rob's (I'm 61 but still rock) and I wanted to be sure my ticker could take it. Even knowing what was coming didn't mean I didn't cringe or that my hand didn't fly up to my heart. There were tears and gasps and some applause in the theatre. The ending credits were a lovely tribute to fans and the actors who've made this ride so special. Bill Condon did an amazing job! I don't know how it could possibly have been done any better.

Gozde said...

Just read few of the comments down I am floored as to how much people can verbalize actually I have just few things I am in a sensory overload - First Bill Condon receives all the accolades for making a epic out of the last half of the book in which not much happens compared to the last one in which marriage -childbirth - death happens as if it is a normal thing! Beautifully pictured , acted, and the end was the montage to all we have witnessed for years with the Saga.
Last and not the least -Rob though he had not much of a role thanks to SM - that was the deal as this was the story of this human girl but yet whatever it was he was fabulous , beautiful , outstanding. I might go again RL willing just to see Rob !!!!

Gozde said...

For anyone who knows me or regularly reads my post, this should say it all. I was literally speechless for 45 minutes after the close of the credits. I could not process everything. It was just too much. The 'twist', the perfect piece of forever, the end of the end. It was all too much. So, I did what any self-respecting Twihard/Robsessor would do... I went back this morning and saw it twice more.

My biggest fear going in to this film was Edward's place in it. For 2/3 of Breaking Dawn, Edward is essentially a secondary character, taking a complete backseat to the Volturi and new vamps in book 3. Ironically, a massive part of what prevents that from happening in BD2 is Rob himself. Rob could not EVER fade into the background. Even in those scenes where he is an observer, you cannot help but be drawn to him. But, (and I cannot believe I'm going to say this) props to Melissa *cough gag* propstoMelissaRosenberg *wheezecough* (that burned a bit) for spending a good chunk of this movie kissing Edward's ass to make up to him all the shit you put him through in the first 3 films. I have to believe Bill Condon played a huge role in that, as well, as he was more involved than any of the other directors in the script development (and we know how much work each of the others had to do). There is really one scene that utterly brought me to my knees and made my heart pound. It is the scene where Edward thanks Carlisle for his life. That made me cry every single time I saw it.

Which brings me to the other gift for me in BD2; HappyWard. He just... is. Every scene, every time we see him, even in the most tense moments.. there is a happiness, a calmness, a completeness to how Rob portrays Edward that warms me from the inside out. Hearing his laugh, seeing his playful side was just... YAY!!! My Twi-universe revolves around Edward and as he goes, so go I.

And, as for sexyWard... yeah, he comes out to play early and, thank the gods, stays all the way through. From RobWard's first lines... it's clear he's bringing out Edward's lusty side! From the moment he gets excited about watching his mate hunt, to him melting those beautiful words over her shoulder, the way his hands are always on her, the way he looks at her... every bit of it shows how free Edward is now that she's turned. And, HOT DAMN if they don't have the EXACT right man to exude lust. Fuck. Me.

As for the rest of the film, I really really loved the way they structured it, the way they presented the new vampires, and I absolutely loved the way the Cullens were more central to the story.

The twist was... yeah, well, there are really no words to describe my thoughts about it because they literally just stopped. As soon as the first vampire to die that we didn't know was going to die gets his head torn off... it was like my brain ran smack into a brick wall. I could not process. And with each successive one, I just kept getting less and less coherent. In the marathon screening, people were literally screaming at the screen. The only reason I was not hurling things was because I was completely incapable of conscious thought and movement. And then it stopped and the world righted itself and I was left breathless and in shock... and I loved every minute of it.

The one thing that I wish they would go back and fix, the thing that just kicks my ass every time is that they seem to conveniently forget that Edward's mindreading would give him an edge in any fight. Hell, he even talks about it during their battle planning!!! But then Demetri and Aro, not to mention Kate, all get him on his back. No no no!! Never happen.

I can't tell how many times I will go back and see this. The trauma of that battle hasn't lessened at all. But, it's almost a pleasureable pain now. And RobWard... yeah, he's sooooo worth it.

*applauds* EVERYONE INVOLVED! NAILED IT!!! and Mr. Condon, great direction. I was more than satisfied with this one! (forgive me, if I get long winded, but I loved it) Is it on DVD yet?!haha
The things I LOVED:

-The intro- the way the blood red or frosty white colors seemed to splash across each other at just the right time.
-The way those same colors would course across their names.
-Emmett and Jacob comic relief.
-The Jacob throw-down (Has always been one of my favorite parts) and how Edward does absolutely nothing to stop it and actually sort of encourages it.
- The frequency of Alice's visions (not that there were a lot) which seemed to foreshadow the "twist". ( I sorta slapped my temple when I realized, "Duh! That's obviously what's going on!)
- Alice and Charlie just got more lovable.
- The grand twist. ( My friend started flipping out at that point. She was like " This has to be someone's nightmare! This isn't happening!" and she loved it, by the way.)
- LOOOOVEEED The Edward and Bella Tag Teaming in the battle sequence ( which I wouldn't have minded if they had actually become the patriarch and matriarch, as much as I love Carlisle). But that was the Sh*t (for lack of a better term) and simply B.A.! It's my FAVORITE added scene!
- a lot of the more minor scenes, as well.
- Bella's gift was well executed! I like how it sort of had a feel of a bubble but didn't look like a bubble but rather a light and inviting haze.
- When Renesmee looked more Mackenzie-like and less CGI baby.
- No awkward wolf talk... but their was whimpering which made me kinda sad!:(
- Jane getting annihilated in the battle sequence.
- The "Love making" scene was cute.
- Kristen worked that Vampbella out! haha!
- And do not even get me started on Edward... Oh, my gosh! Rooooooooooob... I know it's been said before, time and again, but you are going to be in trouble when my future husband wants to have children and I have to explain to him the reason we can't because my reproductive organs have failed and exploded because of you!!!! haha! Loved Daddy-ward and just Edward as always. So protective and definitely the best Vamp! Rob, your smile and laughter are killer! I can't stop smiling just thinking about the way you owned that crooked smile!
-Daddyward and Renesmee at the piano

Things that made me go, uh, what? O.o-
- CGI baby Renesmee ( they tried, they tried.)
- When Jasper gets slapped in the face.
- When Aro does this crazy laugh thing after Renesmee communitcates with him.

And I shall leave it at that, until next time. Still trying to recover from my Robward coma! can't wait to see it again!:)

I just saw it for the first time a couple of hours ago and was so positively surprised by it. I loved it! I admit that BD was my least favourite book and its ending such a disappointment that I feared the movie a bit. However, what a roller coaster of emotions it was. There was a lot of humour, great battle at the end, the sexiest love making scene of the saga. Thank god for Bill Condon and his understanding that Rob's jawline is so kissable and worth showing close-up! I loved Edward as a dad, he acted no longer like a 17-year-old teenager but as a protective dad who was fierce! I predicted the battle as Alice's vision but anyhow I was shocked to see the main characters dying one by one. BC was so clever! Then the final scene on the famous meadow brought the tears and I was bawling my eyes out. It was simply so beautifully done. And to acknowledge the legacy of Stephanie's books in the final scenes was so wonderful because without them, this phenomena had never existed nor had these actors become so famous.

Overall the ride of this saga has been something completely out of ordinary for me personally. I have never fancied a book series or an actor as much as I have adored the Twilight and Rob and I am almost 40! i'm sad that there aren't any more of the books or movies to come but at the same time I understand that Edward's and Bella's story is finished now. Their characters continue to live in fanfics and for that I'm glad. Above all I am happy to have found a community of like-minded people, such as all you here at Robsessed, who are interested in following Rob's career beyond Twilight because I believe that this saga has just been a beginning for him and there's plenty to come.

hey gang it is Friday November 16th and I just got home from seeing BD2 and it was AMAZING crappy writing some things were left out but other than that it was amazing! however Bella was susposed to be a little clumsy when it came too hunting for the first time but I still give the whole saga a C minus and not only that but I'm confused was'nt there susposed to be some kind grand finale from the cast like something huge that never happend and maybe I am wrong? but wasn't there susposed to be something like that like a message or something like that???

Gozde said...

oh i plan on seeing it again tomorrow I met some ladies at the theater really nice and we talked and we gabbed thru the previews of all the movies LOL and also I plan on seeing it again sunday as well and thanksgiving weekend :D I will MISS the hell out of the Cullens when I hear thunder or it rains(which it did today) I will think of them or if I see an outfit that I think is so cute I will think of Alice *tearing up* I am still so emotional :,-)

Gozde said...

OMFG!!! that was soooo good. I really can't think of words right now.

But the entire cinema gasped and held their breaths when Carlisle head was pulled off and you heard the relief when Alice spoke and the premonition stopped!!

Sooo well filmed and definitely let that Saga finish on a high note. :) Can't wait to see it again.... Now WHEN does the DVD come out? :)

Gozde said...

okay cool! I really don't want it too end but Rob can't play a 17 year old forever and would'nt be crazy if they put out Twilight as a tv series ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!!

Gozde said...

pheeeewwwwwww what a relief!

Gozde said...

I laughed at that part lmaoo Rob was utter perfection

Gozde said...

LOL Leah , during that scene, I was having a meltdown, my heart almost gave out

Gozde said...

I'm glad I read this comment, it put into words everything I can't verbalise at the moment. I gasped and started to breath again at exactly the same points, again not realising I had actually held my breath, but I know I must have stopped breathing at the point of Edward almost being decapitated!!!

Gozde said...

oh here is my review: AAAAAAMMMMAAAAZZING! it was brilliant! oh my god it was so good however there were few things left out and I met some ladies while waiting for the movie too start we started gabbing about Rob and how beautiful he is and they were so nice and we had a blast and the movie was SO amazing! my favorite sence( I bawled!!!) was when Edward played Renesmee's lullaby oh girl I was sobbing! I waited so long too see that sence and it was SO beautiful!! and when Jacob asks: *can I call you dad* and Edward smirks and says NO jokingly of course it was priceless and the other sence was when Emmett and Bella had the arm wrestling contest oh man that was priceless he is so competive ha ha ha ha ha and I think IMO that the sence with J.Jenkins did'nt last very long it should have been alittle bit longer and she(Bella) was susposed too drive the ferrari and the sence with Charlie seeing Bella was SO heartbreaking but yet touching at the same time and when Charlie(bwwwhahahahahahaa!!) almost shit his pants when Jacob turned into wolf too reveal him self I fell down laughing it was hilarious I must say! and he asks Bella is not going too turn into a wolf is she ha ha h aha ha and when Jacob started taking off his clothes I shouted out wooooo work it! ha ha ha ha ha and Charlie "Jacob put your clothes back on now I am on the floor by that time laughing my head off and Jacob woo he briefs NOT bad KIDDING! LOL!! and when Jasper and Alice had too leave oh man I was crying but all in all it was AMAZING

Gozde said...

Saw the film tonight. OMG I thought it was an amazing film. I laughed, gasped in shock and cried. I will definitely be going to see it again. I loved the humour in it. I didn't see the twist coming and was left open mouthed. The ending was perfect.

Gozde said...

oh i know I forgot that it was Alices vision and it got me at first and I was SO pissed I was like *you bitch* I said that out loud I really got into the movie LMAO! and when Edward played Renesmee's lullaby oh my god BEAUTIFUL! Rob actually played it too a T" he was AWESOME!

Gozde said...

Wowee!! I loved the last movie so much! For all the same reasons you guys did! <3 But seriously, during the fight scene, me and my friend were completely freaking out! We were hugging each other and were like OMG, why is this happening?! Thought I was going to have a heart attack! But yeah, I loved it! Will mostly likely be off to see it again soon :D

Gozde said...

I'm not joking when I say that I literally said 'fuck this movie' when Carlisle died LOL

Gozde said...

A thousand and one love for your post Jazz_Girl, you made me LOL at the Rosenberg part and you made me sigh out loud at your description of our Edward and Robert being the right man to bring everything out in the character... just love, love you post from start to finish, very eloquently put my dear, very well put.

Gozde said...

JUST got home. I think they did a good job, but I was expecting a whole lot more of the vampire sex, what they had was very tame, I was waiting for knocking over furniture & stuff. I was hoping that the scene where Edward kicks Jacob's ass would be in part 2, maybe it will show up in the deleted scenes (which there had better be) on the DVD. I thought that Alice's vision was going to show up when she & Jasper left, so when it didn't, I didn't know what to expect. I was happy when it appeared, & I think they did a really good job on the battle scene & NOW I realize what the "twist" is DUH, I should have realized it all along. I loved the ending where they showed everyone who had been in the movies including Rachelle, but stupid Kellan Lutz saying that there were scenes in the credits made me (and a bunch of other peoole) sit there through every damn credit & I really had to pee LOL. Someone should maybe explain to Kellan what the credits are.

Gozde said...

I knew you would love it! lol

I also loved all the parts you mentioned and I too LMAO at Charlie. I just love him, so emotional seeing vamp Bella and it was hilarious when Jake stripped and wolfed in front of him...lol.
I must admit that I was looking forward to the part in the book where Edward refused to teach Bella how to fight because he loved her so much and and the thought of her fighting hurt him so much... aaahh.... I loved that part in the book.
For me the emotional parts were when Bella put Renesme on Jake's back...and also at the very end where all the characters throughout the series were shown on the screen.
I noticed quite a few girls left the cinema during the battle.. they seemed a bit overwhelmed ..they all came back, thank goodness
And... Rob was amazing, heartbreakingly beautiful. I hope he gets the praise and recognition he deserves for this one...I loved BD2 and will watch it many times...

Gozde said...

OMG! Best Twilight ever! I thought I had guessed the ending, but I was all wrong! What an amazing twist. I was in shock when I saw Carlisle head! MY mouth dropped open for minutes! I was so shocked! I can't wait to go see it again! Bill Condon is the greatest! Robert was great! The love scene was pretty awesome. Jake, with Charlie, everyone was so great. I have never been this thrilled after seeing one of these movies!

Gozde said...

Leah, just go to the movie, don't listen to us. You will not be disappointed, I swear! And stop spoiling it for yourself. LOL!

Gozde said...

All right! That was some reaction but I was grinning the whole time I was reading it. I watched it again yesterday this time with my sister,I agree with you about the cgi baby the more i was staring at her on screen it kind of got weird for me. My sis was like what is that face?that is not normal...lol she is not a fan of this series. She doesn't understand my love for Rob either :( but it was her treat for me the movie :) I stayed in my seat till the end of credits,we were the last to get out and another long line of viewers were waiting outside and I gave them a thumbs up! Hehehe! Final shot in the meadow scene is just ugh! Too perfect and bittersweet *_* I got home and open my bd book copy and open to that last page...FOREVER..and that is how I shall cherish this series that gifted me ROB :-)

Gozde said...

LOL. Thank you. :)
Aw, that's sweet of your sister. I don't have any sibling actually, so I could only imagine how fun that was. I had more than a few friends who are non-fans but still say that the film was really good. I'm bursting with pride and happiness. Keep giving the peeps a thumbs up! :D
Oh dear, I'm tearing up again with that scene and page mention. I just can't. *crawls into fetal position* Haha. :)

Gozde said...

I am SO glad I had no idea what the "twist" was. I gasped and my stomach dropped (when I saw Carlisle), then I was in compete shock for the next half an hour! The tension was thick in that theater! I had heard there was a different storyline from the book, and I feared that the demise of Carlisle (and then many others) were part of that. But I was so relieved and happy with the ending. Robert was absolutely stunning and beautiful as Edward. He NEVER looked better. I thought Kristen was fantastic as vampire Bella. I was super pleased with every member of the cast. I'm emotionally exhausted now. What a surprise! Great job Bill!

Gozde said...

that scene was hilarious!!

Gozde said...

I just realized that except for maybe 1 minute of Sam, we didn't see any of the wolf pack. Every time we saw them they were wolves, we never saw the people. That's kind of weird, I wonder if they filmed but their scenes got cut. There had better be a TON of deleted/extended scenes from both parts on the DVD.

Gozde said...

I admit, I read the spoiler post before seeing the movie and I regret it. All I read was "WHAT?!!!!!!!!!!!!! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!! CARLISLE DID NOT GET HIS HEAD RIPPED OFF!!!!! NO THAT CAN'T BE!!!". I couldn't sleep because of it.

I don't know what to say about the movie because Assuiegirl did a fantastic review. All I can say is that I love the ending and the twist.

Gozde said...

You just described my feelings and reactions during the movie to a T. I'm still shaking and having goosebumps every time I think about it. I'm going again this weekend and several more times before it leaves the theater. What an amazing end to the Saga. I walked out of there with so many emotions. I think they outdid themselves and truly gave the fans what they needed to close the Twilight Saga. They really did bring it full circle. WOW is all I can say. AMAZING!

Gozde said...

Rob, thank you for bringing Edward to life. You are the best. Hope that you be Christian Grey next. went to see BKD 2 friday night, love it.

Gozde said...

okay, here we go:

1. i didn't cry, was in too much shock the franchise is over. i wanted to watch the movie again right away.

2. bella is beautiful as a vampire

3. love how bella tells edward she needed to leave (she smelled the human on the mountain, shows how strong she is)

4. bella meets renesmee & their interaction

5. bella kicked the shit out of jacob

6. jacob showing billy he's a werewolf
7. edward & bella's home (the the steamy sex). it's all so beautiful & intimate, yummy robert
8. jacob asking edward 'should i call you dad?' no. hahahahaha
9. bella meeting jenks: that part was cut way too short & i would've like to see the car edward gave bella
10. bella seeing charlie, kind of heartbreaking when you know he can't be in on the secret
11. the battle: alice's vision put into aro's mind did get me. i completely forgot that didn't happen.
12. bella being able to shield her family & the others, esp to piss of jane, ha
13. rob was perfect, as was the entire cast.
14. bill condon did an amazing job

15. alice showing edward their future. i was kinda shocked about jacob not getting older. it's been awhile since i read the book but based on the pack's family... shouldn't he have aged?
16. wasn't keen on edward being a secondary character for awhile, but in the end... he became one of the primary, as he should be.
17. bella finally showing edward her thoughts

i just noticed a lot of this is about bella doing something but with edward being a secondary character for awhile, it's kind of hard to remember his scenes... other than that hot & steamy sex. overall, i really enjoyed the movie. honestly, i would have stayed to watch it again but no more showings tonight. at the moment i can't pinpoint my favorite scene(s). i'd have to see the movie again. i especially liked how all cast members from the entire franchise were shown in the credits, even both actresses who played victoria. fantastic job.

I was a little late to see the movie, but i just got home at 1:21 am US time. I just saw it with my 10yr old daughter and we both were moved so much by this file. It was an emotional roller coaster ride but I loved every minute of it!! Job Well Done to Bill, Rob, Kristen, Taylor and the entire cast!! You are amazing!!!

"15. alice showing edward their future. i was kinda shocked about jacob not
getting older. it's been awhile since i read the book but based on the pack's
family... shouldn't he have aged?"
As long as he keeps turning into a wolf he doesn't. If he gives it up (I can't remember if he just stops or something happens) he will age like a normal human. Plus, Renesmee will reach maturity in 7 years, so that scene could have been only 7 years in the future, He's only around 18 now in the movie, he wouldn't look old at 25 even if he was aging.
