New Moon DVD Extras Details
In an interview with Collider Chris Weitz revealed what we can expect on the "New Moon" DVD. I'm already excited!!!
Collider: What can we expect on the New Moon DVD?
Chris Weitz: On the DVD there will be some deleted scenes, there will be a commentary with me and I think Kristen, Rob and Taylor at the same time, and some making of and behind the scenes type stuff.
My big question is how many minutes of deleted scenes?
Weitz: I think it’s around twenty. (Kate: SQUEEEEEEEEEEEE)
Is there really going to be that many minutes?
Weitz: Yeah, but sometimes it’s just showing a whole scene with bits that have been cut out. There is not like twenty minutes of stuff thrown out. It’s like here is the fully expanded scene.
Here’s my question….the Twilight fans are obsessed with seeing stuff they haven’t seen before. So how many minutes do you think of footage that’s not in the theater would be on the DVD/Blu-ray?
Weitz: I’d say a good ten minutes of groovy stuff they haven’t seen. (Kate: Chris I've said it before and I'll say it again, I LOVE YOU (not as much as Rob but nearly as much)
So why did you cut it?
Weitz: The running time of the film and the cadence of how I wanted the film to play.

New Moon, the Twilight sequel is finally here. Love between mortal Bella and vampire Edward is put through a big test: will they manage to overcome irreconcilable differences?
Robert Pattinson on fame: I am a simple guy and as every 23 year old I like to go out to drink. Lately I do that less often, because I am always surrounded with huge amount of fans. Of course it is great to have so many fans, but I still haven't get used to not have any privacy outside my home - except when I disguise myself.
Kristen Stewart on Bella: I am completely addicted to Bella. When lights go off and the shoot is over for the day, I can't say good bye to her and she is accompanying me even when I'm alone. No doubt she owns me.
Robert and Kristen on making the movie:
Even though the actors became friends while making Twilight, there was some angst making New Moon. The story has more dramatic turnouts, and we felt a responsibility towards fans - we didn't want to disappoint them, because they liked Twilight so much. First responses say we did a good job.

Michelle contacted Empire Magazine yesterday after being tipped off by @cbroadz (thanks again) that there was going to be a Twilight special edition. Rod from Empire has confirmed that there is in fact a 7 page Twilight New Moon feature, in which they interview Rob, Taylor, Kristen and Chris. The issue also features some great photos and in addition, there are two bonus covers - when you turn the Rob cover over there is another one of Kristen and another featuring Taylor. My guess is that we will be happy with the cover we have posted, but I’m sure some of you will be happy to see the others. It’s a special collectors issue for all Rob and Twi fans so be sure to pick up your copy! Thanks again Rod for the intel and cover pic.

Limelife did an interview with Julia Jones who plays Leah Clearwater in "New Moon" and here's what she says about Rob
LimeLife: Okay Julia Jones, if we could ask you anything about one of your co-stars, it would be this: Does Robert Pattinson speak with an American or a British accent between takes? (Kate: Personally I can think of lots of other things I would like to ask)
Julia Jones: (laughs) Yes, Rob is British, he has a British accent, and he speaks like that when he's not acting! His [American] accent is so good, actually. Sometimes hearing him speak in his normal British accent, I get a little thrown off, because his American accent is just perfect.
LimeLife: Can you tell us whether he is actually a pleasure to work with?
Julia Jones: Oh, he's an absolute pleasure to work with. He's great. He's thoughtful and he's generous and he's laid-back. He's got all the qualities that you'd look for in somebody you'd be working with.
