The Bromance continues! David Cronenberg misses Robert Pattinson and shares insightful information about Cosmopolis

This audio interview on CBC Radio was great. The interviewer started to grate on my nerves but David, of course, made sure Rob was respected. He loves him so. :')

I worked on a semi-transcript (not entirely verbatim) for CosmopolisFilm because the video can't be embedded on that blog but I'll include it here in case some of you aren't able to listen to the audio right now. The interview is on autorun so it's after the cut.

Interview and summary after the cut!

"Robert Pattinson Has Become One Of My Favourite Actors” - David Cronenberg

Another NEW Interview with Robert Pattinson & David Cronenberg From the Toronto "Cosmopolis" Press Junket.
This one is from The Vancouver Sun is a great read and as per usual David only has good things to say about Rob.

TORONTO — Celebrated Canadian director David Cronenberg and Twilight star Robert Pattinson are hardly anti-establishment radicals.

But you would never know it from their film collaboration, Cosmopolis, which opens in theatres across Canada June 8.

Cosmopolis has already had its splashy premiere at the recent Cannes Film Festival, but the Toronto-based Cronenberg and the London-raised Pattinson are happy to be back in the city where they shot the film just last year.

Looking casual in slacks and shirts at a downtown Toronto hotel, the dapper filmmaker and handsome baseball cap-wearing leading man are making themselves available to promote the film, which exposes modern-day obsessions with greed and power.

But Cronenberg said that Cosmopolis is less an excuse for socio-political diatribes and more about an opportunity to present a fresh story. And yes, the 69-year-old understands that the film hits screens as anti-capitalist protests abound worldwide.

The movie, based on the 2003 Don DeLillo novel, tracks the bizarre day in the life of young Manhattan billionaire investor Eric Packer (Pattinson)

Tom Sturridge Talks, Make That Doesn't Talk, About Robert Pattinson

Tom Sturridge refused to talk about Robert Pattinson in an interview with "The Time Magazine"

Here's the excerpt

He refuses point blank, to talk about his girlfriend, Sienna Miller, or Robert Pattinson, his childhood friend.
"When you agree to be interviewed, it's an opportunity to review your own moronic-ness" he says. "It's OK if I come across as a complete idiot, but it's not fair for me to describe or refer to anyone else. Anyone can be tainted by my mention of them".

I love that these 2 are such good friends. I love Tom, he has good taste in drink (Guinness) and has good taste in friends. If he ever wants to visit Ireland I would buy him (and his friends {wink, wink}) a pint or three.

Thanks to for the mag pic

Video: Robert Pattinson, KStew, TomStu Leaving Thompson Hotel

Here's the video of Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Tom Sturridge and Mr. Security Blanket leaving the Thompson Hotel on Friday night. As I have told you yesterday no puppies, kittens or innocent children were hurt during the incident :)

Dude those flashlights are blinding! No wonder they were shielding their faces.

Robert Pattinson, Tom Sturridge and The Ugly Shirt Land in London

Robert Pattinson, Tom Sturridge and the ugly shirt land in London. Was it wrong of me to hope he'd spill something on the shirt during the flight? Not that it would stop him from wearing it :)

Look at your bodyguard Rob he is dressed pretty sharp :)
