Fans Think Robert Pattinson Will Win an Oscar First

MTV and Fandango paired up and polled the fans that purchased New Moon tickets through the Fandango service. There are some interesting results and some results that I completely agree with:

Q: Which of these young actors will be the first "Twilight Saga" veteran to win an Oscar in their career?

a) Robert Pattinson (43 percent)
b) Kristen Stewart (23 percent)
c) Anna Kendrick (1 percent)
d) Dakota Fanning (29 percent)

Keep in mind that Anna Kendrick might be nominated for an Oscar this year. One thing is for sure it's one talented cast. (I would add Jamie Campbell Bower to the mix.)

Fans also said they are more excited to see Breaking Dawn than they are to see New Moon/Eclipse (let me spell it out: Isle Esme, naked Robward... or half naked, we'll take what we can get :)) they would like Weitzmaster to direct Breaking Dawn, we tend to agree and LOVE Chris for calling himself "flavor of the month" :)

Robert Pattinson Talks About Interacting With The Fans On Good Day L.A.

Pattinson appeared on 'Good Day LA' where he told an anecdote about fans he saw waiting every day while he was filming 'Eclipse.' Pattinson used to pass these women every day, but ignored them. One day while riding with cast-mate Jackson Rathbone, they both stopped and talked to the fans.

Robert Pattinson claims he immediately learned that the fans aren't crazy at all. They're just crazy about the Twilight series of novels and films and just can't get enough of them.

"I started talking to them," he said. "It's so strange when you think you get cut off from everyone and you realize these people are only here because they love the books and the films."

Rob Pattinson, aka RPattz, is philosophical about the gap between the fans and the cast.

"I just wake up at 5:00 in the morning and leave work at 9:00," he said. "People just wait there. Nothing could please them more than just two minutes talking to you."

UK Fan Event-Answers to some questions

The Twilight Bebo site received the following statement in response to some of the questions fans have been asking about the event:

• You will have been notified via email over the weekend if you were successful in the New Moon UK Fan Party ballot
• You will have been emailed by uknewmoonfanparty, newmoonfanpartyuk or newmoonukfanpartyevolution
• If you ARE 14 and under you have to be accompanied by an adult (18 and over)
• There is no reserved seating, standing only
• The car park in the park will not be opened.
• You will need a copy of the email to gain access to Battersea Evolution grounds in order to pick up your tickets.
• There is no meet and greet with the cast
• No camcorders will be allowed in the venue
• If you entered the ballot in your name you will need to be the one to collect the tickets. You will need to bring ID with you
• There is strictly no entry to the venue after 6.00pm
• There is no dress code
