Jackie Collins Says She Had A "Feeling" Robert Pattinson Would Be Big

In an interview with thewrap.com Jackie Collins talks about her new book and Hollywood Heartthrobs and of course Rob came into the conversation.
Here's what she had to say:
Most of your characters are under 30. How do you keep current?
I’m actually a popular culture junkie. I love keeping up on things on the internet, reading all the fabulous stuff that goes one. Perez is funny, thedailybeast, the radar.com, all of those.
I like to be able to mention things before they actually happen. For instance, I mention Robert Pattinson. When I wrote the book he wasn’t as big as he is today, but I knew he would be. I just had this feeling.
Around that time you had a brief affair with Marlon Brando?
Yes, he was my favorite movie star, and I actually was 16. I met him at a party and it was all bets are off because I was a very street smart 16 and what are you going to do when you come face to face with your favorite movie star and you’ve seen “The Wild One” 10 times?
That’s the fantasy of every woman of your generation and half the men!
Well yes, I think any 16-year-old today who came across Robert Pattinson would do the same thing! (Kate: Less of the 16 please Jackie! Are you saying you'd turn down Robert Pattinson? I certainly wouldn't!)

Pierce Brosnan Says He's Proud Of "Remember Me" & Talks About How Bizarre It Was Filming In New York
Brosnan spoke to Cinematical about working with the legendary figure on The Ghost Writer, as well as Percy Jackson, dealing with Robert Pattinson's screaming fans on the set of Remember Me, and much more
To shift gears a bit, speaking of media-centric figures, you're in Remember Me with Robert Pattinson, which must have been totally bizarre to try and film in New York City.
PB: [laughs] It was. Well, I've seen it. I've never encountered such attention in my career. I mean, I certainly had it but on a day-to-day basis, this young man certainly acquitted himself very well. And I think he was just completely blindsided by everything. And here he was doing a drama, which he's executive producer on, and he had a heavy workload every day, and it's a hard one to be wrenched out of every time you step out of our trailer.
Especially in New York.
PB: And there's nowhere to hide. There's nowhere to run. You know, you're damned if you do, and you're damned if you don't... You have to go to emotional places where you really need to [put your] head down and [look] straight ahead... It's a very dramatic movie, and it's a beautiful movie. It's a love story. I play his father. What can I say about it? I'm very proud of that.

Paul Wesley Talks About Robert Pattinson in Seventeen Mag
Who would play you in the movie version of your life?
Woody Allen. I'm pretty neurotic. Robert Pattinson is like the last person I want to be compared with. I think any girl would throw me under a bus to be within five feet of Robert Pattinson. I actually think he's an attractive guy. And I watched most of Twilight, and I think he was really intriguing.
He's right though... I would throw him under a bus!

Emilie De Ravin Talks About Working With Robert Pattinson & Filming "Remember Me"
Mmmm so it's a waterfight !
Australian actress Emilie de Ravin has moved from the small screen to the big screen in the upcoming romantic drama Remember Me (out March 12).
In the movie, de Ravin (Claire on the TV smash hit Lost) plays Ally who becomes the object of affection of one brooding young man named Tyler, played by super hunk Robert Pattinson. Tyler has a strained relationship with his father a (Pierce Brosnan) due to a family tragedy and didn’t think anyone could pull him out of his funk until, he met Ally (Emilie de Ravin) through an unusual twist of fate. Love was the last thing on his mind, but as her spirit unexpectedly heals and inspires him, he begins to fall for her. Through their love, he begins to find happiness but soon, hidden secrets are revealed, and the circumstances that brought them together slowly threaten to tear them apart.
De Ravin recently spoke to Tribute’s Toni-Marie Ippolito to discuss filming Remember Me, how hard it was to concentrate with the paparazzi on set, what Robert Pattinson is really like to work with and, of course, her feelings on the final season of the hit series Lost, which made her a household name.
Congratulations on this film. It looks fantastic. So, what did you think first think about this love story?
DE RAVIN: I fell in love as soon as I read it. It’s one of those few and far between scripts that you read that you’re like, “This is just something that I would just kill to be a part of.”
I understand there were about 180 women that were up for the part and then you got it! How does that feel for you as an actor?
DE RAVIN: It’s pretty amazing. Also, they were going in a lot of different directions with the look for Ally to start with and sort of ended up, I think, the furthest from where they started [Laughs]. I’m happy though.
What was your reaction when you found out that Pierce Brosnan, a.k.a James Bond, and Robert Pattinson were going to be a part of this film?
DE RAVIN: That was, you know, even better. (Kate: LOL I bet it was) We’ve got a really talented cast. Pierce is playing Rob’s dad. I’ve got Chris Cooper playing my father. Lena Olin is amazing and we’ve got a wonderful little 11-year-old girl, Ruby, who’s playing Rob’s sister who’s just a sweetheart and really talented. Everyone sort of ended up working together really well too, which is, you know, difficult—especially when you’re dealing with family units.

Robert Pattinson Out And About with Tom Sturridge in London
Robert Pattinson Out And About with Tom Sturridge in London. First they grabbed lunch at Nando's then did some shopping. The rest of the pictures are really intrusive. THIS one is the only one that is "postable".
Look how happy the Beanie Twins are!

Thanks to Ani for the tip :)
P.S.: We had a 5 minute email convo on how to post these. I gotta say they were funny emails :))

Robert Pattinson's Daily Record Interview - complete fabrication!
Thanks to GossipCop and their investigations we can reveal that the Daily Record 'interview' posted earlier today was in fact a non-interview...
Robert Pattinson “Disturbing” Sex Scenes Interview is Complete “Fabrication”

Any comments attributed to Robert Pattinson are going to get huge attention, especially with regards to the highly anticipated Bel Ami he’s making with Uma Thurman, and especially if outlets can throw in the word “sex.”
“The sex scenes with Uma are kind of disturbing,” Pattinson is quoted as saying to The Daily Record. The comments were quickly (and not surprisingly) picked up everywhere. “[Thurman's character] kind of uses sex as a sort of weapon and my character thinks like an animal,” Pattinson supposedly adds.
Bel Ami is an adaptation of French writer Guy de Maupassant’s novel, in which Georges Duroy (Pattinson) is a social climbing journalist and playboy. As Gossip Cop confirmed last month, Christina Ricci has also signed on to the project.
Gossip Cop was told by a source close to Pattinson that the Daily Record interview is a “fabrication.”
The source adds, Pattinson “never spoke to the [Scottish] Daily Record.”

Thanks to Sleeper:
@snailsurf Just saw robert pattinson at @NationalTheatre! Strange...
@marcusfoster1 went to the theatre last night and saw a very strange play.

www.nationaltheatre.org.uk program 6 February, Saturday:
Really Old, Like Forty Five - Tamsin Oglesby’s furious comedy confronts head-on our embarrassment and fear about old age.
The Pitmen Painters - Lee Hall’s new play is a humorous, deeply moving and timely look at art, class and politics.
(Every Good Boy Deserves Favour - a play for actors and orchestra. A dissident is locked up in an asylum. If he accepts that he was ill, has been treated and is now cured, he will be released. Tom Stoppard and AndrĂ© Previn’s darkly funny and provocative play asks if denying the truth is a price worth paying for liberty.)
As for RobBeard:

We told you that Robert Pattinson was spotted at Groucho Club Friday night. Now we have some more info. First of all Jayne Sharp tells us that she tweeted his location AFTER he left the club, that she wouldn't tweet a celebrities location and put them at risk. She also told us that she underestimated the power of twitter :) Welcome to the club Jayne. Twitter can be evil...but it's so much fun :)
Here's our "conversation":
Gozde: Can you tell us a bit more about Saturday night?
Jayne: He was wearing a beanie hat & was also a complete gentleman. He stopped at the bottom of the stairs so I could walk down.He said 'after you' I said 'thank you' he said 'you're welcome'
Gozde: So was Tom Stu there with him? ('cause I know y'all are dying to know if the Bromance is still on :P)
Jayne: To be honest I didn't really pay much attention to his crew. He certainly didn't have a full on thick beard but it was too dark to tell if he was clean shaven. (Gozde: Well I think she would have noticed the thick beard :))
Gozde: Was he wearing the heart shaped necklace that I've sent him?
Jayne:.....
Gozde: Jayne? Hello? Error message: You can not send DMs to people who aren't following you.
Just kidding!........The necklace wasn't heart shaped :)
