A Fans Account Of "The Oprah Show" & "Eclipse"

So one of our readers Marie was lucky enough to get tickets for "The Oprah Show" last week and you know what that means, Yeap she also got to see "Eclipse".

Here is her hilarious account of her "Oprah Show" experience and her "Eclipse" review is after the cut. If you don't want to be spoiled then don't read it.

We got down there a little after six and we got in line.
In the waiting room, we waited, very impatiently, for and hour and a half. That was torture, I tell you! Torture. We were sitting across for one of the groups of lucky girls that Rob paid a visit to last night, and they showed us their picture with Rob. They told them that they were going to be Skyped into the show and that they were coming to their house to set up, and then they showed up with Rob! The killer part is my sister Barb got a call on Monday about the Skype thing and if they picked her, she would need to be available Tuesday night. So she was in the running!!!! So close!!!!!! I really think, judging by the girls that were picked, that they were really looking for the 14 year old group. (Kate: Aww So close!)

Anyway, when they called our numbers, we actually got pretty good seats! Not down in the very front, but in the stadium farthest on the right facing the stage. So we were like, 30 feet away from Rob maybe. When Rob, Kristen and Taylor came out, the audience lost it! Seriously! It was crazy. Rob was wearing a brown button down shirt, jeans and those famous shoes that he has that match Kristen's. Kristen was wearing capri length leggings, a olive green long top and gorgeous heels. Taylor was the most dressed up with a suit jacket and pants, dress shoes. Side note - Taylor's dad was in the audience. Trying to keep a low profile on the show, but they did get him to talk to us before the show, and he has the same voice as Taylor!

Here are some things to look forward to when you see the show:

- the video of Rob visiting those houses last night was freaking hilarious. The one house, they took forever to answer the door, and when the finally did, Rob was like, "I was about to break into your house". At the second house, Rob rang the doorbell, and a dog started barking. So Rob is like, "oooh, they have a dog" and then he kinda woofed at the dog. (Kate: I have a dog Rob, come visit me! ) SOOOO CUTE!!!! The best part was watching Rob watch the videos because he is like cracking up at himself, but you can tell he's kinda embarrassed too.

A bloodthirsty vampire-army, snarling Werewolves, spectacular fights as a matter of life and death...
The new Trailer for Eclipse (in cinemas 15th of July) sends cold shivers down your back. So grim. Sinister. Dangerous. Two-fisted Action instead of big feelings: The triangle-Relationship between Werewolf Jacob (Taylor Lautner), Vampire Edward (Robert Pattinson) and the mortal Bella (Kristen Stewart) almost becomes a irrelevant fact. When there's so much danger around there's not much time for love. Bella's hometown Forks/Washington becomes the stage of a struggle between good and evil, caused by the nasty Bloodsuckers Victoria (Bryce Dallas Howard). With a army of brutal vampire-monsters, she wants to revenge her mates James (Cam Cigandet) death - he was killed by the Cullens in the first part of the Twilight saga. Now Bella and her friends are supposed to die for that! However it becomes even worse: The Volturi, Ruler of the Vampire-Underworld, show up in Forks all of a sudden. They have it in for Bella too. Chaos and distress spread...

The Stills:
1. Screams of pain tear apart the night: The student Riley (Xavier Samuel) was bitten by Victoria (Bryce Dallas Howard). He's transforming into a vampire.
2. And Riley is not alone! The mean Vampire creates countless bloodthirsty monsters, that terrify Seattle/Washington.
3. The newborn vampires make their way to Forks - where they have to kill Bella and her friends. The Cullens have to face a huge fight!
4. Jacobs Werewolf-clique wind the trouble. They want to support the cullens in their fight against the bad.
5. What nobody guesses: The Volturi-fighters Felix (Daniel Cudmore), Jane (Dakota Fanning), Alec (Cameron Bright) and Demetri (Charlie Bewley, from left) travel to Froks too - on their search for Bella...
6. Edward (Robert Pattinson) and Bella (Kristen Stewart) have hidden in the hills. But Victoria has scented them out
7. And the Army has arrived in Forks by then too. they want to destroy the other Cullen Family members.
8. It results into a bloody fight where many loose their lives.

And now the part about Rob and Kristen: (*Kat rolls eyes at the gossip*)
Rob and Kris look for a lovenest.
Just as dramatic as Eclipse is, just as bright and shiny the leading actors personal lives seem to be. After an almost one year long relationship Robert and Kristen want to take the next step. They're searching for a shared lovenest in L.A.
"I looked for a house last year", says Robert, "but I was completely overstrained." Thats why now Kristen is taking the job. She was also caught looking at a few Houses. Bravo stays tuned.

Naperville families welcome 'Twilight' vampire

You're not supposed to invite a vampire into your house, but when Robert Pattinson of "Twilight" fame rang the doorbell of the Webster family's Naperville home Tuesday, all decorum -- let alone rules -- went out the window. (Kate: Well Ya, of course they did)

Pattinson's appearance was part of a taped stunt set up by producers of "The Oprah Winfrey Show." The actor made surprise visits to three Naperville homes that evening. (Kate: Oh why can't I live in Naperville :-()

"Twilight" cast members from the movie franchise about teen vampires were in town to tape an episode set to air May 13. The Websters were one of the families who had requested tickets to attend the taping. Little did they know they would get a whole lot more.

Jeanne Webster and her daughter Colleen, a sophomore at Naperville Central High School, had been contacted by producers and told that no more tickets were available. Instead, the producers asked if they could set up a video phone in the Websters' home Tuesday night so Winfrey could talk to them remotely during taping the next morning. The Websters agreed and settled in for what they thought would be a dull night of technical setup.

"At 9 p.m. the doorbell rings and we saw this huge light and we were just screaming," said Jeanne. "We thought it was Oprah at the door. My daughter Colleen opened the door and it was Rob Pattinson at the door to wish her a sweet 16th birthday."

Another Naperville family, the McAlpines, also fell victim to what would become a welcome prank. (Kate: Ooh I love pranks)

Lisa McAlpine's 13-year-old daughter Meggan had invited three friends over to watch the video-phone setup. They met a movie star instead.

"The poor man -- they practically tackled him," said Lisa. "I don't think he'll have his hearing back for awhile." (Kate: I'm saying nothing because I would probably jump on him myself if he turned up at my door.....I'm kidding....I'm kidding. Rob if you ever decide to knock on my door I promise I won't jump on you, cross my heart! :-})

"I was in a state of shock at first," said Meggan. "I always think if I ever meet these people this is what I'm going to say to them, but all I could do was scream." (Kate: Ok I really promise I will not scream at you. How about you do the screaming for a change? I'm sure I could sort that out {evil grin})

At the Websters' home, Pattinson stuck around for about 15 to 20 minutes.

"I had my glasses on and had taken out my contacts and had no makeup on," said Jeanne. (Kate:That is SO what would happen to me. It would be just my luck, so I feel for you SOOO much) "I couldn't believe it. He was really funny and answered all of (Colleen's) questions. He was a real laid-back type of guy." (Kate: That's our Rob!)

Pattinson also handed out Oprah tickets, so Jeanne, Colleen and 17-year-old daughter Shannon attended the Wednesday taping, where they also got to see stars Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner and Dakota Fanning.

"It's been a crazy couple of days," said Colleen. "I can't believe it. The first thing that went through my mind was, 'This cannot be happening to me.' I was completely speechless for the first time in my life."
