Not Scam - Color Me Confused - UPDATED

The person that runs http://eclipseopencasting.com/ emailed us and says the website is working with Summit on this casting call and that it's a FREE casting call, not a scam. Amanda Bell -The Twilight Examiner also emailed and said that they got the information from Summit and the Casting Call is LEGIT.

Unfortunately Summit Entertainment doesn't have an open communication line with all of the fan sites (only a "chosen" few) so I had no way of confirming this. I am beyond pissed for being put in this situation.

Britain's top 50 most eligible bachelors

From the Daily Telegraph:

The Prince topped this year's list of 50 men chosen by celebrities for the women's magazine Company.

Among the judges was Gladiators presenter Caroline Flack, with whom the Prince was photographed in a car after a night out in London last weekend.

The Prince, who split with Chelsy Davy at the start of the year, beat off rivals including Twilight star Robert Pattinson, Prison Break's Wentworth Miller and Richard Branson's son Sam, to take the top spot.

The 50 most eligible bachelors are, according to Company:

1 Prince Harry - 24, from London.

When Company contacted Prince Harry to inform him of his new accolade - Company's Most Eligible Bachelor of the Year Award - a spokesman said: "We shall pass on the good news to Prince Harry."

2 George Lamb - 29, from Dundee, Scotland

Scottish-born funny man George is Dermot O'Leary's successor on BBLB, and son of Eastenders actor Larry Lamb.

3 Robert Pattinson - 23, from Barnes, London

The boy from Barnes became a Hollywood heart-throb overnight when he starred in vampire film Twilight.

Blast from the Past: Haunted Airman Review

Harry Venning at TheStage.co.uk reviewed The Haunted Airman in 2006 when it first aired and thanks to our lovely Phosphorus we got our hands on it :) Here it is:

All of the BBC’s blue filters must have been requisitioned for The Haunted Airman, a very disturbing, beautifully made and satisfyingly chilling ghost story.

Set in a convalescence home for shell-shocked servicemen during World War Two, it starred Robert Pattinson as a wheelchair-bound RAF pilot suffering from trauma, guilt and paranoia. Either that, or he’s actually imprisoned in a private hell run by the devil himself, who sends spiders, birds and the spirits of the dead to torment him. Make up your own mind.

Pattinson - an actor whose jawline is so finely chiselled it could split granite - played the airman of the title with a perfect combination of youthful terror and world weary cynicism. Julian Sands provided creepy support as the oleaginous Dr Barnes, with Rachael Stirling as the airman’s solicitous and attentive ‘aunt’.

Gozde: Mr. Venning had no idea that the "chiselled jaw line" would be famous one day and the photos of the said jaw would be lovingly called "Jaw Porn" :))

National Enquirer is in our list of "What a Load of Crap" magazines so take anything they say with a bucket of salt :)

I am not sure if she is still Rob's favourite aunt. If memory serves right she is the one that sold the childhood pictures of Rob. If my aunt talked to National Enquirer (well, they wouldn't listen to her since I'm a little blogger but if they did listen) she would be off my Christmas "signed autograph" list.

J-14 Interview with Sam Bradley:


J-14: Did you always know that you wanted to do music as a career?
Sam: Yes. I think when I had written my first song, I was ready. I was like, "Oh my god! I love this. I want to do this for the rest of my life." It hasn't really become a career until fairly recently, but I've been given a gift, a platform with a phenomenon here that is Twilight. It's a great thing to be attached to.

J-14: How did your song end up on the Twilight soundtrack?
Sam: Rob just played the song at a gig. We wrote it together [in the U.K.] and it was an incomplete song because I came back to Canada -- he took it in his direction and I took it in mine. My version's called "Too Far Gone" and his version is called "Never Think." We've both gone through a few titles for the song, but regardless, we have different interpretations and I think it's extremely cool.

J-14: What was it like hearing your own music in the film?
Sam: Well, the first time I saw it I was with my friend Tom. We were at the L.A. premiere. The whole thing was just nuts! Thousands of people outside, doing the autographs and stuff and then seeing Rob's face on the screen -- it was magical!

J-14: Have you written anything specifically for the sequel?
Sam:There's nothing specific, but I write about a lot of different things so there are things that may fit.

J-14: What has it been like to see Rob go through all of this craziness?
Sam: I think he deals with it like anyone else would. He's a blessed man right now and he's enjoying himself, but it's his job and this is his life that he has chosen. (Gozde: I always say this when people are complaining about the pap pictures I post. There are so many out of work, struggling actors. I hate it when they corner him or when it's the pictures of a private moment but the truth is it comes with the territory. And a great territory it is, for Rob, for Sam and everyone that reaps the benefits of being young, brilliant and oh so LOVED.)
