Lucky Fans Snap Pics with Robert Pattinson In Toronto

The lucky ladies from TheXtraMile managed to snap some pics with Rob on the set of Life in Toronto yesterday.

How handsome does he look?

On one of his many visits to Toronto, Robert Pattinson has hit the city again to shoot another film starring himself and Dane Dehaan titled “Life”. The movie follows the famous James Dean (Dehaan) and his friendship with Dennis Stock (Pattinson) after scooping up an opportunity with Life magazine to take Dean’s photo. We were INSANELY lucky enough to catch a quick hello from Robert Pattinson himself. With his crazy busy schedule and the 13+ hour shoots, we were grateful that he was a complete charmer with his fans. For any fellow Torontonians, make sure to keep an eye out in the city for this movie set as it wraps in about two weeks.

After debuting his new black hair, Robert Pattinson got back to work on the set of his latest film, Life, in Toronto on Wednesday. The actor was dressed very differently from the first time we saw him on set, trading the dapper vintage suit for his usual uniform of jeans, a sweatshirt, and a jacket. In Life, Robert plays the magazine’s famed photographer Dennis Stock, as he attempts to photograph James Dean (who will be played by Dane DeHaan).

Look at the snow bunny! Or snow rabbit. Bunny isn't very masculine and Rob is a MAN. Rob better be careful or he'll melt all that snow away with his beaming smile.

Robert Pattinson has been lying low for a while, but we finally got a glimpse at what he’s been up to — and he looks completely different! Not only has Rob shaved his goatee for good, but he also dyed his hair black to play photographer Dennis Stock in the upcoming film Life. Shooting is currently under way in Toronto, and Robert braved the cold for a snowy scene on Tuesday, laughing and snapping photos of a bench.

Back in September, we spoke to Rob’s costar Dane DeHaan, who portrays James Dean in the film, and he admitted he was “terrified” but excited to work with a “great guy” like Rob. Lifeisn’t due out until at least next year, but this Summer, Robert will wow us with another transformation in The Rover, in which he stars as an injured robber forced to help Guy Pearce’s character find his stolen car in the desert.

While I haven't been lucky enough to see Rob's Dior Ad broadcast on TV over here (yet) that doesn't mean I haven't watched the You Tube version on my TV (many times ;)).

And with the launch of Dior Homme for Men at Macy's there have been many articles that I've been really enjoying reading, like the one below from Vanity Fair

The ubiquitous heartthrob Robert Pattinson stars in a new commercial as the new face for Dior Homme Eau for Men. Directed by Romain Garvras (maker of the controversial promo for Justice’s track "Stress" Pattinson channels James Dean—living with complete abandonment of the rules. His lust for life, paired with his undulating intensity, inspire this deeply emotional modern love story (aptly titled “1000 Lives”), which unfolds with Led Zeppelin’s "Whole Lotta Love" humming in the background.

Shot on rooftops in Rockaway Beach and New York City (including the Waldorf-Astoria), the short showcases Pattinson as the ultimate urban male: self-assured but discreet, effortless and yet impeccably tailored. He is a man with a purpose, living from moment to moment (staying true to his vampire roots!), which also comes through in his next three film choices (one of them being Life, due out 2015, wherein he plays a Life-magazine photographer hired to follow and photograph James Dean). Taking a cue from Dean, who was once famously said, “Dream as if you'll live forever. Live as if you’ll die today,” Pattinson—as the new face of Dior Homme Eau for Men—does just that.

The scent is a refreshing blend of Calabrian bergamot, Moroccan grapefruit, and Crimean coriander at top, with Tuscan iris absolute surrounding the heart, followed by Virginia cedarwood at the base. “Eau for Men is a fresh yet directly masculine fragrance, its immediacy is its soul,” says Demachy.

DiorRob in America continues to heat up. I saw the TV spot during Good Morning America and freaked out like it was my first time seeing him. The fragrance is in full promotional swing at Macy's so make sure you stop buy and pick up a bottle or two for the men in your life. Or yourself. It's not unusual for a woman to enjoy a light spritz of men scents and Eau for Men is lovely on the skin.

Harper's Bazaar included Rob in their list of HOLLYWOOD MEN IN FRAGRANCE and had this to say:

Twilight star and general heart throb Robert Pattinson was announced as the new face of Dior Homme last year to the delight of most women around the world.

We are certainly delighted behind this partnership, that's for sure. While the original DiorRob launch has over 17 million views, Dior also launched a new cut of the ad specifically for Eau for Men and the "magnetic icon".
