Rob shows up, suited and booted, poses for some shots and then he’s off to the event. sometimes we know why he’s there, sometimes we don’t know what prompted him to go. but it’s always exciting. i’ve got my fingers crossed for some Rob red carpet surprises this fall. this one was from almost 2 years ago when Rob attended to celebrate Chris Weitz as an honoree. click HERE for a little more history on the night."

I tend to not get emotionally committed to Rob's films until they hit production because he could wind up leaving them in pre-prod for a number of reasons.
Elwes: It’s been in casting hell, but we feel like we are coming out of it now. I think we’re close to making an announcement.
