HUGE news today, Deadline announced that Robert De Niro has joined the cast of 'Idol's Eye' alongside Rob. Production is expected to start production in October in Chicago and Toronto.

The plot of director Olivier Assayas’ next pic is being kept under wraps, but it’s described as a sophisticated heist action-thriller. Robert De Niro has joined the cast of Idol’s Eye alongside Robert Pattinson. Benaroya Pictures has come aboard to finance the project, which is expected to start production in October in Chicago and Toronto. Charles Gillibert developed and produced Idol’s Eye with CG Cinema, Bluegrass Films’ Scott Stuber, Film 360’s Scott Lambert, Alexandra Milchan and Michael Benaroya. Ben Sachs is executive producing.

UPDATE: The premiere will be at 7:30pm. They also said fans can start lining up at 9am.

YAY!!!! It's about time this news came out.

The Rover will premiere Thursday, June 12, at the Bruin theater in Westwood (Los Angeles).
The theater confirmed on their Facebook.



This will be the first Rob film to premiere in Los Angeles that isn't a Twilight or Harry Potter film! It's also his return to Westwood since New Moon in 2009! Epicness is upon ussssssssssssss!
