He may be the co-star in her latest movie but that didn't stop Uma Thurman from being upfront about Robert Pattinson.

The 41-year-old actress was obviously expecting a question about the Twilight star when she appeared in this month's Harper's Bazaar UK magazine - and she was certainly ready to answer it.

'To answer the ubiquitous question about this movie, yes, Robert is good-looking in person, but he doesn’t have that diamond-sparkle skin like in those Dracula movies,' she said. (Tink: *crickets crickets*)

The mother-of-two was of course referring to upcoming film Bel Ami in which she plays Pattinson's secret love interest.

As she draped herself across a velvet sofa in an array of designer dresses, Thurman went on to say that she enjoyed the role very much.

'It was a fun character, a nice, meaty, dramatic role, and who doesn’t love an excuse to wear a corset?' she told the monthly publication.

But before she could change the subject, she had one more thing to say about Pattinson: 'He’s a very disciplined, very serious, very ambitious, very organised actor.' (Tink: LOVE.)

Robert Pattinson's "Bel Ami" Showing At The Baltic Pearl Film Festival in Latvia?

Rumours have been going around that Robert Pattinson's "Bel Ami" could possibly be shown at the Baltic Pearl Film Festival in Latvia which runs from September 15th through the 25th.



It is listed on the festival's wesbsite page and appeared on the festivals twitter page as a film being included in the festival.

RobPattzNews contacted the orgainisers for more information they were told "they can't release screening dates or any additional information, until an announcement on a world premiere is made. They are hoping it will come soon, and as part of the Toronto Film Festival lineup."

The full schedule for that festival is to be released August 23rd (so hopefully not too long more to wait for news).

Throughout the course of his first few years in the business, Robert Pattinson has had a great run with quality leading ladies. During MTV News' recent live interview with the star, he joked that he has a special place in his heart for working with "hot girls."

When MTV News caught up with one of the "hot" women in question, Uma Thurman, she laughed off the compliment and turned the praise back toward her co-star and his impressive work in their upcoming period drama, "Bel Ami."

"Robert Pattinson is, I think, going to be a really serious actor," Thurman said while promoting her new movie "Ceremony." "I think he's incredibly concrete in his presence on the set and obviously is very handsome. [He] is a very nice person and he's sensitive. He's present. ... He's a really good actor."

Thurman went on to say that while a lot of attention is focused on his attractiveness, he was very professional during filming and held his own with all the women who appear in "Bel Ami."

"Yes, he's extremely dashing, like an old-world movie star," Thurman admitted. "[But] he's got a lot of weight to him. I don't think he was knocked down by all the women they threw at him [during the filming of 'Bel Ami'], which I think is probably lucky for him."

Speaking to Pattinson's comments that we might see a lot of his bum in "Bel Ami," Thurman revealed she was not privy to any RPattz nakedness. (Kate: Aah Uma, I'm sorry)

"I didn't see his bum once!" she said, laughing. "So I can't tell you about it. I don't know what happened to him with other characters, I have no idea, to tell you the truth," she said, adding that just because she didn't see it, doesn't mean it won't be in the film. "I haven't seen the film cut together, so there may or may not be Robert's bum."

Robert Pattinson and Uma Thurman filming in Hertford

HOLLYWOOD stars Robert Pattinson, Uma Thurman and Christina Ricci were spotted at Balls Park yesterday (Wednesday 17th March) whilst filming their latest movie.

The actors were at the Manor House in Hertford filming Bel Ami – a movie adaptation of Guy de Maupassant’s novel with the same title – originally set in Paris.

Pattinson plays Georges Duroy – a man who rises to the top by manipulating a series of powerful and wealthy mistresses.

The actor stars opposite Uma Thurman, who plays a woman high up in Parisian society and later becomes Duroy‘s wife.

Christina Ricci plays one of Duroy’s many mistresses in the film.

The stars were spotted this morning as they were on their way to hair and make-up, all stars apart from Pattinson walked the 30 metres from their trailers to the filmset.

Thurman was wearing denim jeans knee high boots and a brown jacket, while Ricci had her hair styled in 19th century ringlets.

The stars are due to be on set till the weekend and the film is due to be released in 2011.

UMA THURMAN has a number of films in the works this year, including the President’s Weekend opening of the much-anticipated fantastical film adaptation of Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief, as well as Ceremony—directed by Max Winkler (“He’s the Fonz’s son and incredibly talented!” gushes Thurman)—Eloise in Paris, Bel Ami with Robert Pattinson and a third installment of the Kill Bill series.

LAC: What’s special about your upcoming film Bel Ami besides Robert Pattinson, who is so big right now, being your costar?

UT: He is a big star right now. I’m excited because the film is a classical, technical piece of work, and it’s beautiful. It’s a bit of bedroom drama. It’s a romance between Rob and a number of Parisian housewives.

LAC: And you’re one of the love interests?

UT: I end up marrying him, but there are some twists. Uma Thurman is set to help Robert Pattinson cut his teeth as a bad-boy journalist in “Bel Ami,” which begins filming next month.

“They are planning on doing the film ‘Bel Ami’ in London,” Thurman’s rep told PEOPLE, confirming the actress’ involvement. Of a reported scripted kiss between the stars, the rep said, “The plot of the movie is not being released just yet.”

Pattinson — cast in May in the story based on the 19th-century novel by Guy De Maupassant — will also be joined onscreen by Christina Ricci, reportedly as a promiscuous young housewife, and Kristin Scott Thomas.

The actor, 23, who plays a Parisian soldier-turned-journalist, has said that the lead female role in the movie “needs to be literally inspirational.” One can only guess that Thurman, 39, fills the bill — and then some.

Is Robert Pattinson's sex appeal so utterly overwhelming that he's capable of destroying relationships just by co-starring with someone?

The New York Post reports that Uma Thurman, who's scheduled to share the screen with Pattinson in the upcoming romance flick Bel Ami, has split up with her fiancé, hedge fund manager Arki Busson, making Busson the latest in a long line of victims of what many (okay, so far, "we") are calling The R-Pattz Co-Star Curse.

The earliest recorded instance of The R-Pattz Co-Star Curse (copyright pending) occurred early this year, when Gentlemen Broncos actor Michael Angarano, who had been dating Pattinson's Twilight co-star Kristen Stewart, suddenly disappeared from Stewart's life with the swiftness and completeness of a Soviet dissident.

But this was just the beginning of R-Pattz's relationship-wrecking streak.
