Robert Pattinson: Atrevida Magazine Scans-New Interview

The interview is "new" but they just talk about the same things.

Keep in mind that this was originally in English, then translated to Portuguese and then translated to English again, so a few of them aren't the exact words Rob said.

About fame and the paparazzi

"Everything is so bizarre. You need to pee and then all out of nowhere 20 people show up screaming 'hey, hey' and all I can think is 'I still haven't even washed my hands'"

"I see people as individuals. In my head, they would never scream, I think they would be embarrassed. The public's mind is bizarre. But I know the fans only want the best for me. Not like the paparazzi.."

"I get annoyed at the paparazi because it's only interesting to them when you're down. They're around you all the time, just waiting for the moment you'll make a mistake. They think that's all we have to offer. But I don't have to give anything to them."

"One day they said to me 'smile, smile'. And when I did, they said 'ah, he's so boring!'. Then all of them fell in the bushes and that made me laugh."

About his music

"I went to a concert in Vancouver of Jackson Rathbone's band and it made me feel upset because I can't do shows. I'm scared that people will record them when I'm not ready yet. I wanted to record an album. I should have done that already, but I don't have time. But I've already written songs for that."

About love

"First, you need to decide if you like the person. Because after that, nothing else matters. Unless she does something terrible, like cheating on you in public. But if you like someone, you should follow your instincts."

Details of Robert Pattinson's Night Out on Saturday

I don't know when/how it happened but I find myself agreeing with LAiMEy more and more these days. it might be the crazy letters she receives that make me sympathize. It's very unsettling...

From Lainey Gossip:

Jackson Rathbone and band 100 Monkeys hosted a private party on Saturday night in Vancouver at the Players Chophouse.

Here is an exclusive copy of the invitation. The date stamp KILLS me.

You will note…

The open bar.

All class.

One of my pet peeves in life: Cash Bar At A Wedding.

Chill the f-ck out, bitches. I’m not talking the kind of wedding where the modest couple invites close family and friends for an intimate celebration. I’m talking the kind of wedding where the bride keeps yapping about her Vera Wang and they book out a swank hotel or a golf course and register for ten thousand gravy boats and you get there and everyone gets 2 tickets for their first 2 drinks and the rest is on you.

Sorry to digress.

When Jackson Rathbone gets married, it won’t be a cash bar.

Anyway, the host wore a “Zorro” hat and 100 Monkeys were the last to perform. I’m told that the band’s tradition is to ask the audience for a word and use that word to make up a song…? Anyway, the word on Saturday was “polygamy”. So the ensuing chorus was:

I get what I need from you and you and you.

Cute.

It was a well guarded event, not too many leaks, and no paps. Other Twilight cast members present included Kellan Lutz, Julia Jones, Ashley Greene, Chaske Spencer, Elizabeth Reaser, Xavier Samuel, and oh yeah, those other two, the only two most people care about – Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson – were spotted smoking on the patio. Twi-Hards will take this to mean they that they were out there alone, slow dancing under the twinkling stars, talking about the magic-ness of their love.

Sane folks will understand that smoking patios are usually crowded and the best they could hope for is a hand job behind the umbrella stand.

This is Pattinson alone at the end of the night. Note the buttons. And you’ll love this email from Debbie sent to me yesterday with a copy of one of these images:

Lainey, check out this pic of RPATTZ coming home with his shirt buttons messed up. Kristen was ripping it off in the cab so F-CK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A Letter to Robert Pattinson

Edward-Cullen.Net received this letter from a very sick fan who got her wish fulfilled when Robert Pattinson signed her New Moon book. We would love it if this letter found it's way to Rob so we are posting it here in hopes that someone will see it and give it to him.

Dear Rob,

I recently received the signed New Moon book that you autographed for me in NYC while you were filming Remember Me. The wonderful ladies at the Morgan Stanley Childrens Hospital Fund especially Ms Chris and one of her friends spent alot of their own personal time and effort in getting this for me after contacting Ms C from Remember Me. I will always be truly grateful to them for this gift.

I can't thank you enough for taking the time out of your busy life and schedule to sign this for me. It means more to me than you will ever truly know.

I am not sure how much you were told of me, but my name is Ms. MS and I am nearly 24 years old. I have a very rare lung disorder that causes my lungs to collapse at times witout any notice, and from the damage done to my lungs it has left me on oxygen nearly 24 hours a day. I can only take it off about 1 hour a day and a large percentage of my time is spent in a wheelchair as I can only walk short distances. They tell me my only other option is a lung transplant, scary right? This is a decision that I will have to make at some point but they tell me it will only give me an extra 5 - 7 years and well I just dont know. Anyway these are the breaks that life sometimes gives you.

You see I was lucky enough to win the Morgan Stanley Childrens Hospital raffle. They have looked after me since I was 16 years old which is when I first got sick. Anyway, one of the prizes I won was based around your favorite film and movie stars.

My wish was to try and either meet some of the Twilight stars especially you or go to one of your movie premieres.

Ms Chris from Morgan Stanley was trying to organize for me to come and meet you on the set of Remember Me in NYC this summer. I live in VB, but due to the timing, having to get everything worked out and the time to get clearance from your producers it was not meant to be.

I still am most grateful for the signed book from you. I will forever cherish your kind words as it gave some hope and that maybe one day things will work out for me too.

I also wanted to tell you that Peter Facinelli (Dr Carlisle from the Twilight series ) was at my local mall here in VB a few weeks ago as part of a Red Cross Blood Drive. How lucky was that right?

I got all dressed up made an effort and got my best friend to take me down to the mall wheelchair/oxygen and all . I waited for a few hours in order to see him and what a nice person he is even though he had been signing autographs for hours.

I had the pleasure of meeting him, taking a photo with him, and getting his autograph. I took my oxygen off and walked up to take the photo and I was shaking from my nerves I am sure he wondered what was wrong with me? :).

I wanted to give him this letter and ask him to give it to you but I felt a little embarrassed and he was very busy. There were hundreds and hundreds of people lined up waiting to meet him.

I love how you both are so dedicated to your work and your fans. I have attached a picture of the book you signed for me in the summer and also the picture of Peter so you know that this letter is really the truth.

I would appreciate if you could acknowledge that you received this if by chance it actually gets to you .

You seem like such a nice person and I wish you all the best in life.
Again I can't say thank you enough.

With Love,
Ms. MS

If you wish to contact Ms. MS, you can contact Edward-Cullen.Net. They will pass on the message for you, or will put you in contact with someone who does have contact with her. You can e-mail them at admin@edward-cullen.net.

We at ROBsessed hope for this to come true:

Kellan Lutz: I Can't Fathom Being in Robert Pattinson's Shoes

Kellan Lutz talked about Robert Pattinson Level of Fame in his interview with Black Book Magazine:

Nut what happens when the fans get to a Robert Pattinson-level where it’s just insane?
Well, it’s crazy because with all this attention, all of us are handling it extremely well. We still have our head on our shoulders and our feet on the ground. Rob’s handling it so well. I can’t fathom being in his shoes. I believe I could handle it, but being cooped up in Vancouver and not being able to leave the hotel room or the apartment without having a driver and having to hide out—especially when he was shooting Remember Me, I talked to him a lot in New York and those fans were just crazy. I can’t imagine trying to act when you have all these people yelling your name and you’re doing an emotional scene.

You can read the rest of the interview HERE. Nothing more about Rob but he talks about Twilight Moms, his new movie etc.

AnOther Man Magazine Features Robert Pattinson

Thanks to AnOther Man Magazine for sending us the following info and larger image:

The issue goes on sale on Thursday in the UK and you can buy it at any WH Smiths , Borders etc.... You can also pop into any news agent and they will pre-order you a copy. This will be the cheapest way of getting your copy (and probably the fastest).

Lord Have Mercy!

DazedDigital previews issue 9 of AnOther Man out on October 1, which features Robert Pattinson on the cover, shot by Hedi Slimane and styled by Nicola Formichetti. Dave Calhoun speak to the 23-year-old Twilight star about the pressures of fame and the craft of acting: “It’s the hardest thing I’ve ever done in my life.”

Here is an excerpt from the Robert Pattinson feature written by Dave Calhoun.

Was Pattinson aware of the loyalty of fans of the Twilight books? It looks like the sort of obsessive fandom that can turn into anger and even hatred when an adaptation isn’t to their liking. Did he know what he was letting himself in for? “It’s strange because even though the figures show that the books were successful and sold millions of copies, you couldn’t even buy them in London. I tried a couple of bookshops and they weren’t available. Hardly anyone I knew had read them apart from one girl, a friend of my sister. I had no idea at all. I’d seen Kristen Stewart in Into the Wild and some of the director Catherine Hardwicke’s other films, and that’s all I thought it was, something really small.”

His manner is very laid back. He doesn’t sound thrusting or ambitious, more like he’s just going with the flow and enjoying things. Is he going to harness his newfound fame and box-office appeal to approach the kind of filmmakers he wants to work with in the future? He’s not so sure. “Annoyingly, there are so few parts I feel I can add anything to, or that I want to do.” But he knows what he doesn’t need. “I don’t want to be an actor for the sake of it. I don’t find any particular pleasure in being an attention-seeker.”

Issue 9 of AnOther Man will be on sale in the UK on October 1st
