How To Be - Countdown and Giveaway!

Here are 3 How To Be Wallpapers :))

To celebrate the release of How To Be [DVD] in the UK and Ireland on May 18th we are giving away 3 DVDs and 3 posters signed by Robert Pattinson!

Unfortunately the drawing is open to the residents of the UK and Ireland only (I know! I'm sorry :( )

Everyday leading up to May 18th we'll give you a quote from the movie. All you have to do is leave us a comment and also note the quote down. I'll delete the post everyday before I post the new one. No cheating :)) At the end of 5 days we'll ask you to send us the 5 quotes via email and after cross checking with the comments to see if you left a comment as well, we'll have a random drawing and pick the 3 lucky people that will receive the signed Rob posters and the How To Be [DVD]s ! :)))

You can order the DVD from amazon today from this link. I already ordered mine since I can't participate in the drawing. I am actually paying for mine, oh the irony :))) (Check this post for more info on region codes and how you can get the DVD outside of UK)

Little Ashes Movement - Day 36

We are on day 37!!! :))

Robert Signed for New Movie Unbound Captives ?

According to Variety and Screendaily.com Rob has signed on to star in a period drama called Unbound Captives where he'll play Rachel Weisz' son (Ouch! Rachel is not old enough to be Rob's mom! I take offense to this since I am closer to Rachel in age than Rob :)).

Trio bound to Stowe's 'Captives'
Weisz, Jackman, Pattinson set for pic
By MICHAEL FLEMING

Hugh Jackman, Rachel Weisz and Robert Pattinson will star in the period drama "Unbound Captives," with Madeleine Stowe making her directorial debut from a script she wrote.

Gil Netter and Grant Hill will produce with Ashok Amritraj's Hyde Park Entertainment. They are eyeing a year-end production start.

Though Stowe's a newcomer behind the camera, getting the job and landing that cast is a payoff for her risky decision to turn down millions of dollars for the script in 1993. Under pseudonym O.C. Humphrey, Stowe teamed with her husband, actor Brian Benben, to write "Unbound Captives" as a star vehicle for herself.

She would have played a woman (now to be played by Weisz) whose husband is killed and her two children kidnapped by a Comanche war party in 1859. She is rescued by a frontiersman, to be played by Jackman. Pattinson will play the son.

Fox offered Stowe $3 million, and later $5 million, for her script, with Ridley Scott poised to direct and Russell Crowe to star. She turned down what was among the highest sums offered a first-time scribe because there was no promise she would be anything more than screenwriter.

Stowe, who has never publicly spoken about her decision, said she can still remember the surreal moment of turning down all that money over the phone while staring in disbelief at her husband.

"There was never a moment's hesitation on my part, but it felt unreal, and I can remember my husband putting a finger across his neck to signal not to take the offer," Stowe said. "There are moments in life where you need to follow your heart. The script remained my singular focus, but directing it myself wasn't something I ever dreamed of."

The idea came from Netter as she spent years honing the script and visualizing every scene.

"Gil made me realize it when he said there isn't anyone who's going to make the movie you want to make," said Stowe, who then faced the painful task of finding an actress for a role that was once worth $5 million to her.

"I saw three actresses, and knew after meeting with Rachel that she was the person I wanted to hand this role to," she said. "Robert said yes last fall, before everything broke with 'Twilight.' Hugh said yes a couple of weeks ago."

Amritraj sparked to the idea of Stowe directing; she'll be helped by an experienced cinematographer in John Toll, who shot epics "Braveheart" and "The Last Samurai."

Hyde Park Intl. will sell offshore territories at Cannes, and Endeavor Independent, which packaged the pic, will sell North American distribution rights.

Jackman, fresh from "X-Men Origins: Wolverine," is formulating a sequel to that film for Fox. Weisz next stars in the Peter Jackson-directed "The Lovely Bones" for Paramount, and Pattinson is reprising his role as Edward in the "Twilight" sequel "New Moon" for Summit.

Thanks to Emma and everyone that sent us the link :)

Twilight Lexicon Does "Rumor Control"

Thanks to Twilight Lexicon for the "rumor control" :)

I KNOW that no matter how many times we say "Rob has no Twitter", we'll continue getting the "BUT are you REALLY sure? 'Cause the other day I heard from a friend's brother's carpenter's uncle that he has one and he tweeted "everything is going grate on NM set" yesterday" (the grate is spelled wrong intentionally since all those idiot Rob imposters seem to have failed in basic English grammar).

Anyhoo, without me getting too worked up about this ROB HAS NO TWITTER business here is Rumor Control from Twilight Lexicon:
  • They are actively looking for extras in the New Moon Movie and will take anyone.False, Despite what various Google Ads might have you believe, not true. In fact some of the ads feature just about the worst photoshopping that we have seen taking Rob’s head from a piece of fanart, Kristen’s head from (well we aren’t exactly sure where) and plopping them on…not Rob and Kristen’s bodies, but we don’t know who they belong to. The last time something was this mismatched was when TV Guide put Oprah’s head on Ann-Margaret’s body.
  • They are making Breaking Dawn into a movie because the IMBD says so.There’s a production schedule and everything.” False According to our source at Summit, the IMDB is like Wikipedia in that anybody can go on and change information at will (remember the odd tagline now removed that appeared awhile back about Bella having something cooking on the stove). At this point in time, it is false information.
  • “The trailer for New Moon is guaranteed to be attached to Bandslam.” False. According to our source at Summit there is no guarantee of this despite what a radio station may have broadcast to the contrary.
  • Michael Sheen, Jamie Campbell Bower, & Justin Chon have Twitters. True. You can find them by checking out the Lexicon Twitter. We are following all of their accounts.
  • Kellan Lutz, Ashley Greene, Kristen Stewart, and Rob Pattinson use Twitter to communicate to fans. False There are some really great fakes out there with some personal photos, but no they don’t belong to the real Kellan or Ashley. Kellan confirmed he has no Twitter, and right after he said it the fake Ashley Greene account the fake Kellan Lutz account was communicating with delted itself.
  • Stephenie Meyer has a Twitter. False *HEADDESK* Sorry, we’ve covered this a bunch, and still we get questions. No, Stephenie Meyer does not have a Twitter.

How To Be - Countdown Begins

Here is a new clip from How To Be:

The countdown for How To Be [DVD] is on! On May 18th the DVD will be released in the UK and we have a VERY special giveaway! Tune in tomorrow for the announcement ;) Oh I'm such a tease!

Robert Pattinson in Dune?

Happy Belated Mother's Day to Dani & all the moms. A very special thanks to Mama Pattinson for creating his Robness ;) Mama P. : you should stop reading here because I'm going to comment about your son's belly in a minute ;)

Yesterday Dani
posted the pictures of Rob leaving director Peter Berg's home and today speculations galore! Before I get onto the MTV's article I want to repost these 2 pictures for all their belly goodness ;) I would like to thank Rob for putting his hood up and flashing his belly :) I needed that today!

From MTV.com:

‘Twilight’ Star Robert Pattinson Sighted In The Vicinity Of Director Peter Berg
Published by Adam Rosenberg on Tuesday, May 12, 2009 at 2:00 pm.

Robert PattinsonThe spice might soon be flowing, right onto Robert Pattinson’s resume. When it comes to the vampire heartthrob, absolutely nothing is yesterday’s news. That said, Perez Hilton reported that the actor was spotted leaving the Los Angeles home of director Peter Berg yesterday while on a break from the ongoing “New Moon” shoot. Berg and Pattinson may very well just be friends, but this fanboy is hoping that the two met to discuss the actor’s possible involvement in Berg’s upcoming “Dune” remake.

Frank Herbert’s classic sci-fi novel “Dune” was adapted for the silver screen by director David Lynch in 1984. Although Lynch managed to hit the novel’s key points, his tendency towards the avant-garde ultimately led to the mixed bag of fan reception that followed in the wake of the adaptation’s release. Liberal changes made to the story didn’t help either, with the worst offender being a ridiculous shout-activated sonic handgun.

A far more faithful adaption, entitled “Frank Herbert’s Dune,” ran on the Sci Fi Channel in 2000 as a six-hour miniseries. Director John Harrison did a commendable job with the budget he was given, but the miniseries had neither the large-scale production nor the reach that one would expect from a full-blown blockbuster film.

Berg, who is no stranger to delivering for wide audiences, has the best shot so far at tapping into the same sort of mass appeal with “Dune” that J.J. Abrams did with this week’s “Star Trek.” Pattinson’s “Twilight” stardom and youthful good looks will certainly draw a crowd, especially if Berg is considering him for the leading role of Paul Atreides. Bear in mind, all of this is purely speculative and based on a Perez Hilton celeb sighting. So make sure to pour out a few grains of salt before getting your hopes up.

Little Ashes Movement - Day 35 and New Clip

Little Ashes clip - It's perfect

We are on Day 35 of our Official ROBsessed Little Ashes Movement!

Little Ashes had quite an impressive opening weekend in limited theaters, hopefully that was enough for other venues to get Little Ashes. If not, we still have the power of email and calls :) YOU can make it happen for you and other fans ;)

We have 1 SCORE today: Opening July 3, Majestic Theatre, 25 Carlisle Street, Gettysburg, PA 17325, 717-337-8200, http://www.gettysburgmajestic.org Score!

Our Italian reader Alessandra contacted producer Carlo Dusi and learned that Little Ashes is looking for a distributor in Italy. She says:
I contacted the producer of Little Ashes (Carlo Dusi) who told me the movie hasn't an Italian distributor yet. So he asks fan' support to find one.
I'd written an e-mail to Eagle Pictures which was the Italian distributor of Twilight. They have not replied me yet. I think it's better concentrate our efforts on just one distributor. Fans can e-mail to Eagle Picture from their web site www.eaglepictures.com in "Contatti".

And our Mexican reader Daniela says:

Hello, I sent my request and got a reply. Though they answered that they still don't have a date and distributor, they promise to look in to it and if we bombard them with e-mails, they should do something right? the name of the movie theather is CINEPOLIS. This is the e-mail address: cineticket_mlm@cinepolis.com.mx
For non-Spanish speaking people. they can just copy the following text and send the e-mail to help us get this movement started here! This is one of the largest chains in Mexico.

YES WE CAN

What is The Little Ashes Movement?

It's a fan movement. We provided a list of theaters(HERE) including the theaters that are already scheduled to play Little Ashes. If it's not playing at a theater near you you need to call and request Little Ashes from the theater listed. If we do not have a theater listed for you then leave us a comment with the name and number of the theater and we'll update the list the next day.

It's as simple as that. We made it happen at a lot of theaters in US. Theaters left us messages saying "okay don't call anymore we ARE scheduling the movie" :)

YOU can make it happen. If there is a number we've listed in your area call and ask them if they will be showing Little Ashes, if they say no then politely ask them to look into it since it's a great movie with Robert Pattinson and you and tons of other people would really love to see it.

How do I know if the theaters on your list is showing Little Ashes or if it's a request line?

Unless there is a SCORE next to the movie theater or you see your theater on the Little Ashes Schedule page the number and theater listed is not playing Little Ashes. It's a theater that we've listed so you and other fans can call and request the movie :)

Is it only for US?

No. We now have Australia, Austria, Canada,Germany, India, Ireland, Mexico, Norway, Singapore, Sweden, United Kingdom and United States on our list!

A big thanks to cinnamon_toast_crunch from imdb for all her work on this! She is truly awesome!

Thanks to Robert Pattinson Australia, Little Ashes Promotional Blitz, RobPattzNews,RPOdotcom, Amber from Eyes of Amber for their support :)
