Stephenie Meyer NOT Sued, New Moon NOT Halted

A rumor originated form a website 2 days ago saying Stephenie Meyer(she of the Divine Goddesses:)) was sued by an old college roommate for plagiarism. The whole thing was too funny and smelled so fake that we didn't even post it but someone just sent me this link and the bogus story is on UK Yahoo! News! Does anybody do their jobs anymore? Seriously!

NO, Stephenie Meyer(the HOLY) is not sued for plagiarism and NO New Moon Production is not halted. Official statement from Summit via Twilight Lexicon:

There is absolutely no truth to the rumor about any interruption to the filming of NEW MOON. The production of the film has not been stalled or interrupted in any way and filming continues as planned. Additionally, after consulting with Stephenie Meyer and her publishers, speculation about any claims of plagiarism are also completely not true. This is a hoax, pure and simple. The internet for all of its assets can still be an easy breeding ground for such hoaxes and detractors, and we hope that people will not be duped so easily, and use appropriate diligence before perpetuating everything or anyone that claims to have information about the TWILIGHT franchise.

Breaking Dawn Gets The Green Light?

According to TheWrap.com (Who? Seriously, raise your hand if you ever heard of them before) and reported by MTV we will get to see the fade to black on Esme Island. You know I should have broken this story and claimed the right for "I TOLD YOU SO"! I mean of course they are going to make Breaking Dawn. People are flying from all over the world to Italy and Vancouver to catch a glimpse of the set and the stars. The first movie made hundreds of millions and New Moon will definitely make as much if not more.

So in the words of someone very wise : DUH! :)

I loved this part of the "breaking news":

Summit Entertainment spokesman Paul Pflug declined to confirm or deny the report, saying only, "Summit has no comment on that rumor at this time."

They Tracked Rob Down

These 2 ladies flew from Nashville,TN and Columbus, MS for the sole purpose of meeting Rob AND they tracked him down last night at Rio(100 Monkeys Concert)!

When I picture Vancouver in my head right now I have images of women running around at nights with their cell phones, coordinating to track the stars down :) It's a funny/interesting image.

Sam Bradley is Funny

Sam gave an interview to MuchMusic.com and he says Rob's worst quality is being a tidy, neat freak :)) Good to see him having fun with the media :) I am attaching my favorite Sam photo, I don't know why but it brings a smile to my face everytime :

Being Robert Pattinson's BFF does have its benefits. Just ask Vancouver-based singer-songwriter Sam Bradley, who got involved with Twilight thanks to his friendship with the actor. "I wrote a song on the soundtrack, co-wrote with Rob Pattison and its expanded my audience way beyond anything I could possibly imagine," Sam told MuchNews.

Robert sang their song "Never Think (Too Far Gone)" on the Twilight soundtrack and Sam told us about the songwriting process. “It was just me and him. We’re just friends. It wasn’t anything spectacular. Just had a few beers, played a bit of guitar and put some words to a bit of music.”

The two blokes were roommates in London for a few months and Sam shares some insider info about living with Rob. "His best qualities – he’s a great cook. Amazing. He makes really good beans. And his worst qualities, he’s just so tidy, such a neat freak."

Sam also told MuchNews that he and Rob have written several new songs since Robert arrived in Vancouver to shoot the Twilight sequel New Moon.

After the dills concert. Celebuzz says the picture is outside their hotel. I shudder at the thought of the stories that will generate from these pictures...

You guys all have it wrong (Gozde: Not me, I don't speculate :)). I saw these picture being taken. Me and a few friends followed the pap to the location. Nikki and her friend Sage were in one taxi and Kristen and Rob in another. It is very clear that they are all just friends. They got out, the pap ran out to them, asked them for one picture and they said yes. He went to take second picture and they got annoyed and walked away, thats why the second one is so different. Nikki and Sage showed up 5 minutes later, the pap went out to talk to them and took a few pictures and they all went in. This was like 1130 on a saturday night where they had been chased down all over town so they finally gave up and went back to the hotel to enjoy their night off together.
Also we were at the Dills concert before this and bumped into all of them at a pool hall and it is very very very clear that the cast is all very close and thats about it. They are just a big group of great friends.
