I just heard from the hurricane. to everyone who lives at the East Coast, be safe! i'll wait to hear from all of you that you are fine.

Gozde said...

Yes - hope it's not as bad as it looked on the BBC weather - good luck and stay safe all our friends on the East coast xx

I just find it hilarious that someone who hates being photographed as much as Rob seems to can still  look so damed good anyway. Oh wait, he is an excellent actor--and such a delicious one. PS the hurricane is bad--closed the subway system in NYC.

Just been to see Skyfall ( which is great by the way) but I could totally see Rob as James Bond. He would be fantastic.
Love the new banner.

Did someone just shout Mr. Pattinson?  :-D

All MAN!!!!!!

I heard that,  some of the papzs must have followed him from Australia cos it certainly cant have been any of the LA pond life being so polite !

Maybe in about 10 to 15 years - let him get a bit more 'rough around the edges' and he will be superb.

Gozde said...

Tha'ts very gracious of him to stop and pose when probably the same people, well maybe not the same...but these types of people staked out his home and took pictures of him in his back yard (garden for you British ladies).

Really?  I'm 150 miles north and we haven't even gotten a breeze or a drop of rain.  Weird.  And I agree, he photographs so perfectly!

Gozde said...

Dashing...I like that!  That's the perfect description of Robert.

Gozde said...

Well about 600 km north of New York and on the side of the arctic front that is supposed to collide with Sandy and its been raining buckets all day and getting worse.

Gozde said...

Gulp.

I just love watching the way he moves. He's so sexy.

As for the hurricane - I'm in Boston and its raining and windy here already and we are just going to get the outskirts of the storm. They are saying we'll probably be without power for a day or two. I'll be missing so much of Rob!

Gozde said...

Me too.  You really think it's going to be that bad?

Gozde said...

I hope not. I'm hoping the news is playing this up for the ratings but you never know around here. Last year I was without power for four days, I think that was Irene. I hope we don't even lose it this time.

He seems more serious here.  Looking at him smolder like that, if I didn't know better, I wouldn't be able to tell how goofy and adorkable he can be.  But I do like this no-nonsense side of him.  Not sure I can explain it, but to me it seems this is his true self showing, not trying to hide or underplay the way he looks.

Interesting comment!
But I think this is just one side of Rob ...I think he is far more complex than any of us realize.

Gozde said...

Most definitely!

Well my time is limited power wise, I am in Philadelphia and I am hoping for the best and Rob and fanfiction are keeping me company and making me feel less anxious. Be safe all!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Sending cyber Rob hugs:)

Did anyone notice that New Moon is on FX all night again tonight?

Gozde said...

Maybe they let the civilized one in at this event and the riff raffs is  at the airport bothering other stars. :-)

Gozde said...

it is still quiet here, but it's def on its way and seems like the surge from the sea is what will be the worst--evacuated the edges of Manhattan, Brooklyn and so forth.

Gozde said...

Hope it won't be bad.take care

Gozde said...

Yes, he is definitely complex, and appealing in every nuance of that complexity.

Gozde said...

He knows the routine doesn't he? So experienced on the red carpet now. Give 'em the smoldering look....wipe 'em out.....move on to the next victim....and stare 'em out....watch 'em fall....move on. Gives just enough. Knows its effective. And everyone is sooooo satisfied. Such a rare creature.

Gozde said...

Speaking of being polite......did you notice that HE nods and acknowledges every one with a little thankyou.  Bless him :-)

There are lots of comments about the storn on the East Coast of the US....rather than comment to everyone I just want to say to all that may be affected....be careful, be safe and our thoughts are with you!! XX

Jazz, on events like this,  how he behaves himself, he always reminds me of Royal Highnesses.  He has that kind of dignity combined with affablity (right word I hope).

Gozde said...

As I just replied to Jazz, he's like a Royal Highness.

Gozde said...

He is such an ambassador for everything English.
Such a cutie X

Twilight is on Film4 again.  How can I avoid it if they keep showing it??? LOL

Gozde said...

So true. He has class and is so generous with his time. My daughter was in Sydney to see him. Not a fan but she did it for her mother who is 1000km north. Good girl. She said his people tried to hurry him along as the rain had put him behind schedule, but he wouldn't have a bar of it. He stayed until he was sure everyone had a photo or autograph. My girl is sending me his autograph. Like I said she's a good girl! Lol.

Gozde said...

Why am I not surprised to read this?  LOL.  I'm glad your daughter went to see him.  What I wonder though is if there were many fans.  They said so in one of the interview announcements but I hadn't that impression.  I thought maybe it was the rain, but I had expected more fans, it's Twilight!!  There seemed to be much more people last year with Water For Elephants.
So you live in Australia?  I pictured you in the US, the area of New Orleans or so, maybe becaus of the Jazz in your name  LOL

Gozde said...

Yes I'm an Aussie. My nickname, to my friends, is Mazz so I just altered it a little. New Orleans sounds exciting. I've been to the west coast and east coast of the US but not down south. I live in a tourist spot, the Sunshine Coast in Queensland. Across the road from the ocean. Constantly on holidays ( I wish).lol. There were about 200 to 300 people at Robs meet and greet. The weather was a turnoff, terrible, and not advertised as much as it could have been.I suppose because there was no film to go with the appearance. I was the only one amongst my friends who knew about it. There were a lot more at the WFE premiere and they did multiple cross overs in cinemas around Australia. I was at a cinema in Maroochydore ( where KS's mother was from) and saw Rob up close being interviewed on the big screen. I could see the pores in his skin. Still perfect. Haha!

Thanks, Jazz, I need to reorient my brains, every time a read a comment of you now.  From the south of the US to Queensland in Aussieland  LOL.
I had expected a lot of excitement and a real crowd because it's the first time Rob came to Australia for the Saga and, looking at the vids, I felt something was off.  So I wondered if the Saga had lost its power a bit.  On the other hand, when something isn't promoted well enough, many don't know.  Surely Rob has noticed but still appreciated the fans who were willing to endure the bad weather.
