How do you like the "Twilight" showdown?Robert Pattinson: When I read the screenplay, I was quite shocked. The ending with all the fighting is more "Twilight" atypical. It will be interesting.

Have you been interested in vampires before?I'm not really a vampire fan, but of course I have nothing against them. Before the first film, I researched a lot, but quickly noticed how few similarities between "Twilight" and other vampires exist. Stephenie Meyer has developed in the novel, her own personal ideas.
How has "Twilight" impacted your life? Before the movies I did not want to necessarily be an actor, but suddenly I was famous and was recognized everywhere. After this success, I couldn't take any other profession, otherwise people would have asked me what am I doing there for a job. "Twilight" has opened many doors for me and meant that I look at my own life differently now.
The fans are looking forward to the culmination of the vampire saga, but also sad that it is ending. How are you feeling?I feel the same. But now I'm curious to see how my life without "Twilight" will continue. Up to now on any other film project returned to "Twilight". I'm curious what my future brings.
That sounds mysterious. Can you tell us where you will you see next?I'm committed the next year to about ten films. Among them are "The Rover" with Guy Pearce. Then I'll proceed with "Hold On To Me," in which Carey Mulligan plays a femme fatale. Also, I'm going to be in "Queen of the Dessert" with Naomi Watts and Jude Law and then I play in "Maps of the Stars", another of  David Cronenberg's movies

Apparently Mission Blacklist is been put 'in development' again, no 'pre-production', according to the posters of Rob's Imdb board. Most probably the situation in the Middle East has played a role in this. Even Jordanië has known demonstrations lately. Question is if they're gonna wait or just choose another location.
In a Metro interview Rob has said that he's looking for a more mainstream movie, so that "at least one person shall watch it". Maybe we may expect some news in the weeks to come, he has said that in another interview.

Ten films?! Well, I know Rob is not exactly Nate Silver, but seriously, even if it just the four he mentioned 2013 is gonna be pretty great. And the unfortunately named Mission: Blacklist is also supposed to go into production in 2013... Hmm... that's five...He'd need a time-turner or something.

Well 2014 is going be such a good year, Rob did say in one of his interviews he maybe has another three announcements :)

Gozde said...

I wish him luck with all he undertakes and I for one will support him all the way - even if they are only supporting roles - he will be perfect. He is ready to start work again from other comments he has made.

Gozde said...

I would love even just one of them to be a comedy :-)

Gozde said...

That would be great :)......... and he did say he was trying to get at least one studio movie too :)

ten movies, twelve monthsin a year, the shooting of a movies is between 3 or 4 month so how much movies can he shoot in one years ? help please

Gozde said...

looking forward to all of these projects and to some more announcements))))

Gozde said...

From our mouths to god's (Rob's) ears :-)

Please, please, please do a comedy!!!!

Ten movies, twelve month in a years, so if the shooting of a movies is between 3 or 4 month how much movies can he makes in one years, i swear sometime i think he annonce news projects only to boost his ego, but meanwhile i am happy for him he deserve it.

someone will hear us one day !!

Gozde said...

His part isn't going to take 3 or 4 months in every movie, if he's in a supporting role, it should take a lot less.

Gozde said...

He's going to be a busy boy...and I think his future beyond Twilight is going to be blindly bright!

O/T just heard on my local news a story that sounded a little familiar...a veterinarian (lives in my state) whom used to be a vet with a circus has adopted two elephants....and one of them is called "Rosie".....I thought mhmmm...sounds kinda like movie I saw...LOL

Pretty sure he’s over committed. Not all of these films will get off the ground or he will have to pull out due to time restraints. Having said that - there is not ONE of them that I can bear for him to part with. They are all so intriguing, such intelligent and interesting choices. With the exception of Mission Blacklist though - they are all supporting roles so there is a lot less pressure on him in many respects (except for the pressure he puts on himself) - more opportunity for him to flit in and out of sets. I bet he has been envious of other supporting actors on his film sets in that regard. He has spoken of this before - how a supporting actor can often have a really great ‘out there’ or memorable couple of scenes and then bugger off. I really hope he is able to pull it all off. I can’t wait to watch and see.

I'm so happy for him and looking forward to all of his projects..

Seems to me he's shooting everything at once after "The Rover"...lol Depends what what gets pre to production in gear first, I imagine, and he might have to do as Giamatti did...will be interesting to watch in any case...;-)

Gozde said...

I would like to see him make a comedy...or maybe just that SNL thing because I dont want him linked to be only a comedian actor... maybe I am wrong and I apologize in advance if this is the case but I think that comedy can be dangerous...there are a lot of comedian actors that I dont see doing other kind of films...sorry I had too much Stella and cannot express myself clear ...lol

Gozde said...

I am dying to see him on The Rover set...gosh! I am having dreams about it... goood ones..lol
and ''hold onto me'' and ''queen of the desert'' too. he is going to work with big names ...WOW . :)
I am truly happy for him.

Gozde said...

No you're fine. I think Rob has already shown his versatility and with more to come. The comedy skills he showed in BD2 should be put to good use but I'm not suggesting that is all he would then do. That too would be a waste :-)

Gozde said...

I don't think Rob has to boost his ego with random announcements of what films he is or might be attached to in the future. There are a few hundred people here who could and do boost his ego on a regular basis, while he remains one of the least egotistical young, uberly-famous actors in the universe...which is part of his appeal.

Gozde said...

I hope that he can keep mixing up filming dates so that no one knows where he is when; wish Imdb and any other source would not publish is whereabouts and whenabouts.

Gozde said...

At this rate, M:B may never get made, there are always upheavals or potential volatility in the middle east. I respect the director, Sauvaire, known for his guerilla-style filmmaking approach, and sincerely hope he doesn't choose a "safer" location. It'll be disappointing.

Gozde said...

Can't wait to see Hold On To Me. It seems like something I would like!

Gozde said...

I just don't like the idea that Robert will have to do some "gorilla style" acting while protecting his fine ass. What better strike against Americans and the Western world they hate so much, than to take out our biggest star! I don't like it one bit!

Gozde said...

Dear ROb,

wishing you all the best !!!

I hope your career can keep shining and shining thru the years to come....

keep healthy , wealthy, and serenity .....
you can be where ever you wanna be, you can get what ever you deserve , you can have anything you want ...
YOU'RE THE MAN !!!

Gozde said...

I can respect that you are concerned for his safety as a fan. I'm not proposing they travel "blindly" without a security detail to Iraq and hope for the best. But if Rob wanted to play it safe, he wouldn't have signed on to collaborate with Sauvaire who's known for casting real soldiers and filming in the country of origin. If he wanted to be safe, he'd just make films with Michael Bay.

Gozde said...

is he shooting in that order?

Gozde said...

Good point, well made. :)

Gozde said...

I know, it would be great for him to disappear for a bit and have a life, on set or off, but I'm afraid the filming dates and so forth, once p.photography is a go, isn't really up to him. Most of his locations will be less accessible, or in studio. I think the only one that might be difficult is Map to the Stars because the location will be LA, and as it's new territory for Cronenberg, too. However, it might be one occasion when any hoopla might help the story...Have a good Thanksgiving. :-)

Gozde said...

he said that mission blacjlist is in summer. so rover, hold on to me, queen of the desert, and then maps to the stars. and possibly mission blacklist in summer. does anybody know when maps to the stars starts shooting?

Gozde said...

Mission:Blacklist is slated for April 2013 on the production company website and MttS is slated for May 2013.

Gozde said...

How the hell is he going to shoot two movies in two months? Impossible unless he is going to use edward's speed power:)

Gozde said...

Shhh. Never speak those words again.

Gozde said...

Ten projects certainly sounds like a lot but if you consider that most of them are probably small supporting roles then it's definitely doable I guess. A couple of weeks here & there & it's done. The more exposure the better to show his range. The Rover & Mission are primary, lead roles so he's probably squeezing in all the smaller ones in between. All in all, I am SO looking forward to the next few years of Rob.In fact, it sounds like my fat ass is gonna be sittin in a lot of theater seats in the near future! I think I better get myself one of their Rewards cards cause it looks like I'm gonna be earning quite a few!!!

Gozde said...

Once the movie is made it'll attract a lot of ex soldiers who were in Iraq and for them the authenticity will be crucial in liking the movie or not. Problem is indeed if it will ever be shot. The Middle East is known for its sudden, unexpected explosions of violence, I guess it's difficult to make long term plans. Like you said, Sauvaire is a documentary maker in the first place and Johnny Mad Dog was filmed with ex child soldiers. This is the first time he's working with real actors (at least one, who appears to be one of the biggest superstars at the moment) and maybe he has underestimated the weight of it in terms of insurrances. Rob might agree with the project, insurances is a whole other matter.

Gozde said...

Babe's got a lot on his plate. Glad he gets time to rest up before he gets started on his new projects. Most of all I pray for his safety during traveling and filming and every minute of every day and night...Be safe ROB. We love you.
